Some of the best Mexican food in Frisco!! We've been here multiple times and it's been amazing every single time. It's a small unassuming hole in the wall place but man is it yummy! The service is always impeccable in the owner is super friendly. My favorites here are probably the case of beer tacos the vampiras and the arepas! But honestly everything is sooooo good.

It's a little pricey and they close early buttttttthe food is great! I'm from San Diego and this is not Daygo taco shop butttttt it's still sooooo good! Margaritas were great too!

Sr. Ozzy's is a small joint that I noticed while driving north on the DNT service road. The name rang a bell of familiarity and I thought perhaps it was a place from So. Cal, my old stomping grounds. It was not. However, it is very similar to places down there which is great because if there is one thing I miss besides the ocean, it's the Mexican food down there and that's the hungry beast in mah belly this place fed! Inside it's not huge, and pretty casual vibes. It almost looks like a counter order type place but we were seated and served. The owner was working at the time and he's siper nice. We chatted a bit and got a rec on some of the menu items. I liked my food. I was not expecting the tacos to be fried but it worked. The chipotle sauce was killer! My wife got sushi which was also fried. The breading was a tad thick for me but she enjoyed the bite. Sr. Ozzy's going in the rotation for us.

Shrimp Street Taco & QuesaBirria Taco

Three of us for lunch, and it did not disappoint! Between us we had -- Watermelon & Regular Margaritas QuesaBirria Tacos Surf & Turf Burrito Shrimp Street Taco Sonoran Hot Dog Tres Leches (shared a slice) Margaritas were tasty with a nice pour/mix. The QuesaBirria Tacos were outstanding! Burrito was great but all agreed there was a little too much rice; recommend just a little less rice and a little more meat. Street Taco was excellent. Hot Dog was unbelievable (who knew a Mexican hot dog was THAT good, WOW!). Tres Leches was off the chain delicious. The owner was friendly and personable, and remembered us from our last visit. Seating was comfortable with TVs and music that wasn't too loud. And the restrooms were extremely clean as well. We'll be back!

Mango Margarita!

This is not your regular TexMex, it's authentic Mazatlán style Mexican Seafood. We started with house natural Aguas Frescas of Pepino Limon (Cucumber & lemonade). Very refreshing. Also a delicious Mango Margarita. For lunch the Torre Mixta; a "tower" of shrimp ceviche, imitation crab, scallop, abulon, octopus, cooked shrimp and aguachiles. This is huge and so authentic. Two of us couldn't finish it. Comes with Tostadas. We also had the 2 Tacos Lunch Special; Mar Y Tierra (Shrimp and Steak). Very well made & delicious. My wife from Southern California loved it all. The owner, Armando is there to pamper you. We are visiting from Florida and had an awesome lunch experience.

Looking for authentic SoCal Mexican food, then come here! Fish Tacos, Birria, salsa, everything was amazing! Service happens with a smile and Ozzy himself! The place is open for indoor dining or takeout but we usually choose to dine in. Clean and friendly.

Absolutely Delicious - A Must-Try!…read more The Bourbon Street Texas Redfish was absolutely amazing! The blackened redfish was beautifully prepared and topped with a rich, flavorful Cajun cream sauce loaded with seafood. The accompaniments were just as impressive! The gumbo was hearty and flavorful, the sautéed spinach complemented the dish perfectly, and the homemade honey cornbread added a delicious touch of sweetness. The service was great and there is always a lively atmosphere.

We started with half a dozen raw oysters and they were fresh and delicious! We also ordered a dozen grilled oysters. They were okay, but nothing spectacular and probably not something we would order again. Hubby ordered the fish special that was on the board that day. I can't remember exactly which fish it was, but he said it was just okay. I ordered the snow crab with Cajun butter and unfortunately this was the biggest disappointment. The crab meat was extremely mushy and the texture was just not good at all. I tried several different legs from the cluster just to make sure it wasn't only one bad piece, but they were all the same, so I couldn't finish it. The corn that came with it also tasted old and had a strange sour taste, so I didn't eat that either. The Dragon Fruit Pineapple Mojito, however, was DELICIOUS! Definitely one of the highlights of the meal and I would absolutely order that again. One thing that was a little strange was the timing. Considering how slow it was when we were there, the food seemed to take a little longer than expected to come out, and my drinks took even longer. Overall, it was a mixed experience for us. The raw oysters and mojito were great, the grilled oysters and fish special were just okay, and unfortunately the snow crab entrée was a definite miss. I'm willing to give Anaya's another try and order something completely different if we happen to be in the area, but based on this visit, I wouldn't make a special trip back just to eat here.

On the outside they have a cozy covered patio with a couple of big screens. We chose to sit outside and ordered the fried oysters to start. They were delicious paired with the pico that it was topped with. I ordered the yellowfin tuna tacos that were a part of their specials menu. It was amazing! Yellowfin was flavorful along with the guacamole. Wish it came with more tacos that's how good they were! The calamari was also great paired with its two dipping sauces. Lastly the dessert brownie and ice cream were wonderful as well. I want to definitely come back and try more items from their menu!

We ordered a crawfish and snow crab boil with Cajun butter and added nitro. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The crawfish were small and overcooked, and everything was very salty. The crab and shrimp were also overcooked to the point we couldn't eat the shrimp. We did go around 8:30pm (they close at 9), so maybe that affected it. What really threw me off though was a staff member cleaning nearby who said out loud, "Did animals eat here or what?" while we were still sitting there. That was pretty disrespectful and uncomfortable. Overall, mixed experience. Great service from Matt and nice atmosphere, but I'd probably come back just for drinks or something light not the boil.

Happy Hour Value This review is based on my happy hour…read moreexperiences, and the value is hard to beat. Highlights include: * $10 double cheeseburger with a pickle * $3 East Coast oysters * Half-price drinks, including martinis and wine by the glass Overall, it is an excellent value for a really nice place. Atmosphere and Service The atmosphere and service are impeccable. After more than one visit, the bartenders may recognize you--or at least remember your beverage choices. The Bar Show The best part is the show. The people-watching at the bar is unlike anything else. Happy hour starts at 3:00, but the bar seats are usually full by 2:45. Latecomers often walk in, circle the bar, and leave when they realize there are no seats available. Many guests settle in for the full three hours, which creates its own entertainment. Then come the "watchers," each with a strategy for claiming a seat: * Look for someone nearing the end of a drink. * Watch for guests paying their bill. * Hover nearby, hoping a seat opens up. * Ask someone for a heads-up when they are about to leave. It is surprisingly entertaining, and the occasional bit of staff drama only makes it even better. Bottom Line Either way, it is a great deal for dinner, drinks, and a show, all with amazing service. Show up early--or come prepared with your own strategy.

We ordered the crispy rice tuna and the dinamite shrimp. Both were delicious but small, specially the dinamite shrimp served in a BIG bed of greens. The crispy rice tuna was good. The presentation was nice. My daughter ordered the stone fruit martini and she loved it. I ordered a glass or Sauvignon blanc and it was also good. The ambiance was nice and upscale. The food was disappointing for the price. I ordered the salmon, and the presentation was poor. It looked like something I would have cooked at home. Just a piece of salmon and a side of broccoli; nothing fancy or original about this dish. I'm sharing a picture of a salmon dish we had a a restaurant in Estes Park, Colorado for the same price. Maybe they will learn a decent presentation for a $30 dollar dish. I'm sure the food cost in CO is not higher than DFW. Do better. The steak frites was the most disappointing dish of all; $50 dollars for a small piece of steak, side of spinach and small side of fries. The chicken parm was just ok. The pickle in the hamburger overtook the flavor. Order with no pickles if you're not a fan. The side of fries for the hamburger, which have to be ordered separately, were cold and just ok; nothing special. Overall, we were NOT impressed. Maybe I'll consider going back for happy hour for appetizers and drinks, but probably not.

A Houstonian's Take on a Frisco Thai Gem…read more Visiting Frisco from Houston and decided to give this local spot a try, and we're so glad we did! The location was close to the universal theme kid resort, and the menu felt like it was a Thai Vietnamese fusion place.
