Tried talkin tacos and they were really doing all thr talking. Beautiful vibrant colors on the inside. Tables and chairs are neatly arranged inside. There is also a sit down area on the side of the building. Ddnt have much interaction with the workers since I ordered from the kiosk. I ordered the shrimp rice taco bowl, birria taco and birria mac and cheese. The shrimp bowl was 10/10 wow all the toppings complemented each other. The taco was 10/10 and the Mac cheese 6/10. Really nice taco spot I will be back. read more

Food is really good. The habenero and jalepeno hot sauces add something extra to it as well. Surprisingly think it actually had to much guacamole on it but was still great. Came on a chilly day and it was really cold inside. Made it hard to get comfortable and enjoy this food as much as normal. read more

My family and I went to Talkin tacos in Plano. I took them there because of very highly good reviews. But I guess I shouldn't fall for that because everyone have different taste. We ordered about $100+ worth of food. We did not like the food at all. I ate half of taco and meat taste like frozen meat. Sauces were totally different. In my mind authentic taco but it was totally opposite. We ask for the manager and told him about the food. I will give A+ to the manager. He listened to us very humbled. As he ask us what can be done and we ask him for refund. We even suggest if you want to take certain percentage and make rest a refund. He asked for few moments and gave us full refund. I didn't get the manager name but he was very professional and humble. That's why I give A+ for manager and for I give 1 star. I thank to the manager. Thank you read more

I had found this spot searching for a place nearby to go after work for tacos with a friend. Wow, talk about flavorful and unique options! There were some really good fusion and unique options like: birria Mac and cheese, jalapeno taki queso, birria ramen, etc. I went with the safe bet this time of the 3 taco platter. I had the southwest taco, chicken achiote and bang bang shrimp tacos. No complaints there. The tacos are flavorful and is Halal. They do not serve alcohol here so don't go expecting a margarita, but that's okay they have other beverage options. Quick ordering via screens up front too. I definitely want to go back and try some of the other menu items, and have been recommending this place to coworkers and friends nearby. read more

Talk about a unique Taco! (; Talkin' Tacos Dallas was a fun spin on your traditional tacos. They have a TON of options for you to choose from, a wonderfully helpful staff and simply great food. The meat for the tacos was cooked well and had a blast of flavor. I would recommend trying out the guacamole, it was fresh and left me wanting more. Overall a great pick for anyone wanting some solid Mexican food. Give this place a try! read more

I was looking for a new and good taco spot on Yelp. I came across this one and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I have mixed feelings. As I really did enjoy some of the menu items. There were a few that were just ok though. This can be considered a bit pricey. Here's the good bad and ugly! Mostly GOOD! Ambiance is 3.5 STARS It's colorful and cool inside. I love the artwork and vibe. Music sounded great and very modern day hip and chic taco spot. Service 3.5 STARS The gentleman working there was friendly and helpful. You do have to order from a kiosk. I didnt mind that. Food Overall 3.5 STARS I ordered the taco trio. You can pick any 3 tacos on the menu. I like this as an option. This is great to taste multiple options. First Taco was Southwest Chicken Taco It has a Corn Tortilla, Grilled Chicken, Black Bean Salsa, Spicy Mayo, Fried Onions and Cotija Cheese. It was actually unique and I liked the components. 3.5 STARS Second Taco was the Caribbean Taco. It has Marinated Steak, Sweet Plantains, Avocado Salsa, Cotija Cheese. I really liked this one. It was my favorite. Something about the plantains made it work! 4 STARS Third Taco was Carne Asada. It was Marinated Steak, Salsa Verde, Onion and Cilantro on a Corn Tortilla. It was my least favorite. It was lacking in flavor and I didn't like the meat. The steak in the Caribbean was better. 2 STARS OMG The Elotes was tasty. I'm so happy I tried it. The presentation was great. The flavors were amazing and I really enjoyed it. 4 STARS Mango Lemonade 3.5 STARS It was good, but nothing over the top. It wasn't to sweet and I appreciated that. Life is full of EXPERIENCES! I truly enjoy trying new food. Overall I had a good visit. I would visit again for the elote. The tacos were decent, but average and really no wow factor for the cost. I would suggest giving them a try. It's always good to support. I would give it 3.5 overall. read more

A hard no. Bad quality, bad ambiance, bad service. Bad everything. With so many taco places around why bother!?

The quality of the meat and ingredients is great! Tortillas cooked perfectly! The meat was bland. Maybe they don't use much seasoning here? The service is fast and they have a few self order and pay stations. Restaurant is clean and dark with fun music playing throughout. Over all it was good. But the meat lacked flavors..... read more

The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Right now, they're working on the building, so you can only sit outside. It was quite hot, even with the fan on. We had a bit of a wait, but we got about two-thirds of our order in about 15 minutes, and the rest arrived after an hour. I'd definitely go back, but I'd order to go. read more

Good place for halal tacos. We've been there a few times and tried different things. The birria ramen is good but a little on the salty side, and I may be the only one complaining of too much meat. The tacos are good and meats are flavorful. I was not a fan of the al pastor style tacos with the pineapple. I'm not sure what kind of sauce they used on top but it, combined with the pineapple was too sweet. The loaded fries and nachos were good. Their salsa selection leaves much to be desired since it's just bottled salsa that you can probably buy at the store. Some homemade salsa will up the taco game significantly. read more

This place is cute on the inside - love the artwork and the neon signs. Be aware that you order from a kiosk, and there are only 2 kiosks, so if it gets busy, you'll be waiting in line to put in your order. Food comes out within a decent time period, but they brought my food out a good 5-7 minutes before my husband's was done. We got the chicken taco salad bowl, southwest chicken tacos, and steak Al pastor tacos. I got extra chicken in the bowl as well. I liked the bowl but they put what seems to be nearly half a can of corn in the bottom - too much corn. The tacos were good, but nothing special. Overall, a good option if you keep halal, but nothing special . read more

Wow, we happened to be in the area to do some holiday shopping and wanted to grab a quick bite. What a gem this is to find! I had the trio tacos and hubby had the chicken burrito. All of the food was solid, tasted freshly made. The birria was my favorite by far, the chicken taco had a sauce on it I didn't care for but the carne asada taco was perfect, simple and citrusy. I was surprised there was no regular sodas available but they had a wide variety of jarritos, and specialty lemonades. I couldn't resist the mangonada...it was SO refreshing. Talkin' Tacos Is delicious! I happened to be bowling in the area where I found Talkin' Tacos on Google. When I first came here, it was nighttime during Ramadan, and it was packed. I was so happy I ordered ahead, the wait was LONG. I came here one more time recently and it wasn't half as bad as far as the wait for my food. I love the presentation of the tacos here, the size, and, of course, the flavor. I've eaten these tacos: Carne Asada: Corn Tortilla, Marinated Steak Topped with Salsa Verde and Cilantro. This taco was so good the meat was grilled perfectly and all the flavors came together nicely and tastily. Must try here! Caribbean Carne Tacos: Corn Tortilla, Marinated Steak Topped with Sliced Plantains, Avocado Salsa, Cotija Cheese, and Cilantro. This is a unique taco I loved the way the plantains added a sweet flavor. Everything came together greatly. Steak Al Pastor Taco: Corn Tortilla, Grilled Steak, Pineapple, Pickled Onion, Avocado Salsa, Cotija Cheese and Cilantro. This was an an interesting twist on NOT using pork in an Al Pastor Taco, but I enjoyed the meat is well seasoned, and they put plenty of pineapple as well. If you ever wanted a pastor with beef try this taco. Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos: Corn Tortilla, Lettuce, Fried Shrimp, Spicy Mayo, Pickled Onions and Cilantro. This was delicious and I liked that they use lettuce instead of cabbage as I prefer that. They put enough shrimp in this taco so it's nice to feel like you're getting your money's worth. Street Corn Nachos: Nachos topped with Cheese Sauce, Street corn, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Spicy Mayo, Cotija cheese, Crema, Takis, and Cilantro. These were scrumptious. You can add chicken, beans, or steak. I added steak on mine. The corn was cooked perfectly too. I really enjoy these. I've only ordered carry-out, but the service has been good, and the food is very much worth the wait. If you love tacos you have to try Talkin' Tacos. It's Halal too just FYI. read more

Musa is extremely nice and the customer service is amazing! You can really tell they care about their customers. I ordered the Crispy Stack Wrap with extra Takis, and it did not disappoint. The wrap itself is huge -- honestly perfect for two women to share. It was flavorful, filling, and so satisfying. I added sour cream, which made it even better. The only small suggestion I'd have is finding a way to help keep the Takis on top of the wrap so they don't fall off while eating -- but that's a tiny detail. Overall, 10/10 experience. I'm definitely coming back and I'm excited to try other menu items! read more

We were looking for late night cravings after movie night and found this place. Ordered well before midnight for pickup and order mentioned pick up time aa 12:30. By the time we received the order it was 12:40 Coming to the food.. Birria tacos had zero flavor, tacos did not have the flavor of being dipped in the oil. Meat was tender. Cali burrito was not good, it had no taste to write about, they gave few nachos on the side with no dip etc, which was kind of useless. read more

My two friends and I came to this spot around 10pm on a Tuesday night, we all ordered our food, they only brought out one drink I had to ask twice that we didn't get our two other drinks. The food came out and I had to ask twice for my side order, we also had an order of churros and had to ask multiple times before they were brought out. Food was okay definitely over hyped, the service was disappointing I can't imagine how a Saturday night goes about here if just on a Tuesday the service is slow and forgetful. read more

We were a little worried walking in, but walked out amazed. Great take on the nachos, and the tacos were some of the best in the area. Service was fast and focused on satisfaction. I ordered a burrito off of grub hub. The burrito got here fast, it was still hot & fresh. I was disappointed that it did not come with any hot sauce what so ever. So the chips were rather dry & the burrito was not as picoso as I like it. The burrito was delicious though as far as flavor. I've never had a burrito with taki's on it so that was different, but it was good. The meat is what it deliciously good. I would definitely try this again but ask for salsa/chili. Try this for yourself and review it. Have a great time .. read more

Great food with great service. Had the steak taco salad and a quesadilla. Both were excellent and would buy again. Downside is the drinks. A pure life bottle of water was $2.50. You can buy a case at Walmart for under $6.00. The mark up is beyond reasonable. Everything else they have is a specialty drink besides tea.. no coke at all. Again the food was great and so was the service. Manager checked on every table. Nothing like a good manager. So yes come and give it a try. read more

The host that was at the front kiosk was excellent and quick to welcome you and assist when you have questions. Explained the Halal meat and quickly got me through the ordering process. There was a register, but not manned, there were 2 kiosks that you place your orders from. There are picture to help you decide with explanations and descriptions. You can add or remove items to better customize your order along with making comments for options not available. The restaurant was a good side for a large group, and steady customers for a Monday dinner time. The food was ok, ordered the street corn nachos with birria (double meat) and quesadilla. The nachos were ok, disappointed that they did not use real cheese but a nacho cheese sauce. The corn was good and used real guacamole. The birria meat taste had an interesting aftertaste, could not place my finger on it, but a seasoning they use... or do not use. The quesadilla came with a nacho cheese and chips. The cheese was something similar to a Costco can of nacho cheese spread. Very pasty and clumpy... the quesadilla was excellent by itself. For the amount of food, the prices were normal, but the flavors were not worth it. Lastly, if you like Taki's, they have dishes with them crushed as a topping. I passed on this as there was already a lot going on with the "flavors". read more

Talking Tacos Review - 7/10 Talking Tacos makes a great first impression--very clean and welcoming. Ordering was a bit confusing, though. There are no visible menus, only pamphlets, and orders are placed through POS machines. With only two machines in a cramped space, it was awkward to navigate, especially when others were waiting behind you. The food was good overall. My daughter had the birria tacos and loved them. My fiancé ordered the Caribbean tacos--they were flavorful, but the cheese was a bit overpowering and the sweet plantains were slightly soggy. I also had the birria taco, which was very good, but there was a lot of sauce, and it slightly overpowered the taco itself. Overall, I'd give it an 7/10. Nice atmosphere and solid food--clearer menus and a smoother ordering process would make the experience even better. read more

First time here! Mom and I were promptly greeted by Nelly. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient while walking us through the placing of our order on the kiosk. The portions are ideal and the prices are in line with what I would be comfortable paying without compromising on quality and flavor. Food and service were right on point. The ambiance is eclectic and has a fun, laid-back vibe. Love the corn tortillas and actually prefer them to flour since they tend to be lighter and easy on the stomach. ------------------------------------------------ * Birria Tacos 5/5 * Taco Trio (Chicken Achiote/Bang Bang Shrimp/Carne Asada) 5/5 * Elote - Corn in a Cup 4/5 * Chips and Pico de Gallo 4/5 * Mangonada 5/5 Everything we tried was delicious and we will be returning! This is hands down the best taco bowl(10/10) I've had in Dallas. I wanted Chipotle, but since I have no interest in getting food poisoning again, I went looking for something similar and hit the jackpot. The tacos seem to be their real specialty, so I'm definitely planning to try them next time. The green sauce is very spicy, but so good. You should definitely try it. I chatted with someone who I think was the manager, and he was incredibly friendly. It really felt like he made an effort to remember and take care of each customer. Honestly, I was impressed. I'll probably be back soon for the birria tacos. read more

Can we get a slow clap please Amazing place with amazing food. Service is nice, atmosphere is great, food is delicious. I'll say the menu can get a little repetitive, like it'll be the same ingredients done in different ways, BUT its all very good. Serving size is very good too. Sometimes you go to a restaurant and you think "well maybe they get extra points for giving a lot of food even though the food is mid" or "the food is halal so they get extra points even tho the food is mid" but THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE. To me, they earn their points fair and square. I would definitely make the long drive back to eat here again. read more

I've eaten here three times now. The first experience was great, with everything done correctly. However, the second time, they got one of my two orders wrong. This time, it's happened again. I specifically asked for no Takis, as noted on the receipt, yet my nachos came with Takis on them. It's frustrating because they're not something that can be easily removed. I'd suggest the staff pay closer attention to every order to avoid these mistakes in the future. This was a waste of money because now I can't eat it, as I do not like or eat takis at all. read more
