This was our first time here, so it was surprising that it took longer to get our table than it did to get drinks, order, and get food. The salsa is excellent. Not mushy cooked salsa, it is thin with pieces of onion, cilantro, etc.... We loved the flavor, but there's definitely plenty of onion. Husband ordered a frozen margarita which he said was "limey and lush" with the perfect amount of salt. On our Deluxe Carne Asada and Carnitas plates, the meat was the star of the show. Beans, tortillas, rice, guac, cheese enchilada, and pico were all good, but the pork and beef were excellent. The marinade used on the carnitas left bright citrus hues. The asada was tender. The sopapilla was the most buttery tasting sopapilla I've ever had. The custom tables and chairs reflect the pride taken in having a nice space. The mural on the dining room wall is a lovely, bright focal point.

We decided to go for a combination of beef, chicken, and pork. They were all delicious, but we liked the pork the most. It was moist and tender. We concluded the meal with some puffy sopaipillas. They were really good too! Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We enjoyed both the food and the service, and the lively vibe as well. We'll definitely come back. But next time we'll try to get there a little earlier to avoid the long wait.

When I asked for them to clear the order and put it in again, they became quite nasty about having to do it again. After another employee came and cleared out the order, and it was reentered into the register it had dropped down to being $4 over my estimate. I went ahead and paid just to get my food and go. They said that they were out of receipt paper for the register so I didn't get one. The place was packed so I stood off to the side and waited. And waited. The tables were constantly filled with trash left on them and scattered across the floor. A person would come out from back and remove the trash from the tables, but then wipe them with a dirty looking towel. The floor was never addressed. After 35 minutes I inquired about my order. They said that since it was a big order it was taking time to fill. I went back to waiting. Several Hispanic families that ordered after I had placed my order had gotten their food and were either finishing up or had already left. Must of their food was the same as what I had ordered. After two more inquiries about my order, it was finally delivered after waiting for over an hour. Although I am not totally fluent in Spanish, I know enough when people are talking about me and not in a favorable way. Got home after everyone else had arrived and began sorting out the individual orders. Out of 6 orders, 5 were either wrong or were missing an item. I don't know which was worse, the food being cold, the items swimming in grease (which had congealed), or the burnt and/or gristle rich tortillas and meats. I thought that this place would be great after several people who go there regularly had recommended it, but this was a waste of money and a disaster of food quality. Never again.

i never knew about this place until one of my buddy reconmended me this place so i went in and i just told the guy i wanted a potatoe and bacon breakfast burrito everything made fresh the only thing its just missing its some spot to sit down the the only thing but other than that the food is aunthentic and delicious best breakfast in west plano!! this is gonna be my breakfast spot in the mornings. the two guys there working there are really nice guys have great customer service and keeping the customer happy. read more
