The quesa birria was good but I did find the beef itself a bit tough. Otherwise the flavor and taste are good and the consommé was one of the better ones I've had. It even comes with some pieces of meat and chickpeas which is nice. I definitely want to go back and try more things. Do note that the tacos are more like street tacos so they are pretty small which might be justified by the low price!

Overall, I think the tacos were good, but they were a bit greasier and saltier than the other traditional taco places I love. Ambiance: The restaurant is a casual counter order place. Once you order the staff will bring the food to you. There were plenty of tables. Food: The menu was pretty expansive and inexpensive. They had tacos (over 7 kinds), tortas, tostadas, gorditas, and gringas. I ordered 5 carne asada fajita tacos for myself. These tacos were TINY. I can probably eat like 8 if I were super hungry. I love my tacos with a splash of lemon, and some cilantro and onion paired with them. The onion and cilantro were freshly chopped and fresh. Service: The service was quick and the staff were nice.

This visit did not disappoint me. The tacos were delicious and flavorful. I also tried some recommended favorites of friends. The Lobster and Shrimp Taco was amazing. It was well seasoned and the scampi sauce was finger licking good! It was delightful and delectable bite. The Philly Cheesesteak was loaded with peppers, onions and lots of meat. It was a great tasting and fun taco. The Spicy Mango Margarita on happy hour was perfect. It had a nice kick and the tajin rim was the perfect touch. The ambiance is so cool for tacos. It's just the cutest place. A happy and colorful restaurant. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. Service was good the waiter was pleasant. I took my mom with me and she enjoyed herself. I left feeling happy, full and SATISFIED! I think places deserve second chances. I can say it lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. It was an incredible experience and excellent visit.

This one was hard to rate 4 stars for food…read more3 for service and cost On the one hand the interior is beautiful, stunning and so fun. The menu has so many tasty offerings and the food was delicious. However, the prices are, in my opinion, steep for street size food. My Mahi Mahi taco was delicious, but it was small. I was still hungry and could have easily ordered a second or even third taco BUT at $11 for one taco that was too steep for lunch. Instead, Dani and I PAID to split chips + salsa - not free, but a paid appetizer. Our server was so quiet we had trouble hearing him and he mostly left us to ourselves, occasionally dropping by to fill waters. Dream Tacos has excellent food, but the portion sizes and cost are far too steep for this area and for being a taco joint. Sadly, I don't think they will last at these ptoces in this location.

I ordered the nachos with carne asada. They came on a huge platter with dollops of guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo in the middle. They use the same cheese as the queso in a bowl so it's more fluid which I LOVED! The carne asada was diced small and cooked to perfection...crispy outside and tender inside with not a bit of fat or gristle. They were so good I couldn't stop! I planned on taking half with me but ended up eating practically the whole platter. Their iced tea is freshly brewed and is also delicious. I'll be back soon to try some of their other dishes. The food was so good I forgot to take any pictures!

We found this charming hole in the wall in East Plano. The ambience is casual, Mexican chic with folk art on the walls and World Cup soccer on a big screen TV. Bilingual service was attentive and well paced. We ordered the shrimp ceviche tostadas and queso for appetizers and we all give two thumbs up for the freshly made authentic entrees. We topped our meal off with flan and five leches cake.
