First time here - very attentive staff. Plates were reasonable for the size and it was absolutely delicious!! I would definitely come back.

Food was freshly made and a nice waiter (Diego) immediately brought drinks and suggested an appetizer. I ordered the veggie tostadas, nachos and veggie burrito to go. Then I ordered every single vegan taco. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out because all the vegetables were seasoned well & cooked perfectly. The nachos were delicious because they were piled high with toppings and not soggy. I also noticed they generously added slices of avocado! My favorite taco was the "Rico Ocho". It had potatoes and a nice chili sauce. The waiter kindly brought me extra sauces to go with everything. I recommend the vegan tacos and tostadas, since not only are they healthy but tasted rich with culinary culture that isn't easy to find. 5 stars for the wonderful variety of vegetarian options & great customer service.

This is a counter-service establishment and you get your drinks so it's great for larger parties!! I love the stubborn sodas, so yay!! The food was good but the brisket tacos had more onions than brisket so my kid hardly touched that and the beef Colorado tacos were so spicy she couldn't finish the first bite! She ended up eating a chicken quesadilla so she didn't go to bed hungry. The rice is great when dipped in the black beans! It's a nice place e to try! I

A local chain restaurant embedded in Dallas' sprawling suburbia. I don't know that every single thing is necessarily bigger in Texas, but the tacos here definitely were. My taco platter included two large tortillas, neither of which could quite hold the fillings they came with. Fortunately, things mixed well with rice and beans and some chips that were left over after I went through the salsa. Many vegetable-based options were offered, and I was quite happy with the ones I chose. It was tough to pick between the tacos and some of the more creative options, including a chickpea torta and a non-cheese quesadilla. This certainly exceeds my expectations for a taco chain in this area, and based on what I ordered, the rest is probably delicious as well.

It's a cute local taco place with a good assortment of vegan options. Tried two of their vegan tacos-Madre Tierra Taco and Pura Vida Taco. Of these too I loved their Madre Tierra with kale and Uruguayan sauce-warm,delicious and flavorful. Pura vida was ok as I prefer my tacos warm than the ones with cold fillings. Looking forward to trying out their other vegan tacos. Customer service was good and the restaurant was clean.

    Ocho Burrito with Chorizo

Walked in close to lunchtime with a craving for some breakfast burritos on a gloomy day. I was met with smiles and the recommendation to try the chorizo and I went with bacon for good measure. They almost forgot to toss the salsa in the bad but close call was adverted and flavor what salvaged. As for the burritos the eggs were fresh and tortillas nicely charred but some fine tuning might be needed for an extra visit for breakfast. Potatoes were still a touch crunchy and both came with corn which made for an interesting addition but not one I'd make on my own accord. Otherwise salsas help to boost the flavor and the chorizo was a nice addition. Not bad but not my top spot for breakfast burritos. On to the next!

Smoked Chicken Elote Taco and the Brisket Taco (with little sweet plantains hiding under all that meat).

My son is a nacho lover. I wish I'd grabbed a photo of the tower presented to him, but it looked so good we took a dive in and never looked back. Stubborn sodas are on tap and that's an easy win for me (well, really for him because I will say yes to sugar easier than corn syrup). I took a cute photo of my Chicken Elote Taco but the plantains hiding under the brisket was the best. I'm also 100% biased toward plantains. The Elote chicken taco tasted... chemically? Weird? I'm not sure. The brisket wasn't bbq brisket. It was stew-style brisket. It was good, but not what I originally expected. But you know already that I don't care because of the plantanitos. Overall, it was fine. We would go again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

I came here with a work group and we were seated somewhat quickly. First off - their house-made salsas and black bean dip were incredible! I could've made a meal from those alone! We had delicious cocktails and passed around a sampling of appetizers - pupusas, tamales, and plátano fritos. I ordered a trio of tacos that were great, along with a prickly pear margarita (amazing!). The brisket taco was the real standout of the group. Overall, my experience at Gloria's was great - delicious food, attentive service, and fair portions.

We chose to sit on the covered patio, think lanai. My husband and I couldn't get over how much it reminded us of our vacations to tropical resorts. The famous chips, salsa and bean dip has not changed, thank goodness! The menu hasn't changed, but we were able to partake in the brunch menu on this Sunday morning. I stuck with my favorite Tropical Salad with fresh mangos and berries topped with grilled chicken. My husband enjoyed the brunch menu Breakfast Tacos with fresh fruit and enjoyed the hearty portion with brisket. Our kiddos stuck with the kid's menu grilled chicken and chicken nuggets - all were pleased. They were especially thrilled the kids menu comes with a scoop of ice cream! The service was the usual friendly and speedy but not rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back to this beautiful new location!

It was quite small, just a row of tables straight back from the front. I was looking forward to some good paella, so I ordered the Valencia small size ($20). It was served in a small sizzling skillet, which was harder to manage than a bowl. First of all, the skillet was steaming hot, and was more difficult to eat. It was literally dangerous touching the skillet's rim, which could burn your hand. My first disappointment was that they didn't seem to use yellow Spanish rice, which I consider integral to the dish. I used to make this, and it was a somewhat long process, letting all the ingredients simmer in the pan to ensure the flavor permeated all ingredients. This was served with mussels, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. I opted to have it without the calamari. It was also served without a knife. As some of the mussels were closed, it made them difficult to open without a knife. When I asked for a knife, I was able to wrestle the mussels open, but found that they, along with the shrimp and scallops, had no flavor or taste. Evidently, since it was fast-cooked in the skillet, none of the seasonings flavored the seafood. There was a lime stuck in the middle of the sizzling skillet, which was too hot to squeeze. Also, serving it this way left you to scrape the rice off of the skillet sides. The dish was acceptable, but definitely a far cry from the Spanish or Cuban Paella I love. For that, I will always go to Bulla in Legacy, which is also less expensive. My husband thought he was ordering a Cuban sandwich, and even pointed to it in the menu when ordering. It was the ropa vieja Cuban sandwich. Instead, what he received cost a few dollars more, and was a bowl of hot ropa vieja, along with rice and beans. He said it was good. The dessert of cinnamon sticks in whipped cream atop ice cream was also good, although not outstanding. The single women's restroom was acceptable; although it was unique in being the only eatery anywhere in this area without a purse hook, which made it slightly inconvenient. Although a nice mom and pop small local storefront, we are unlikely to return.

The concept was a delight, all you can eat course dining where you can try everything and order more of what you like. When you sit down, they bring each of the four course out in full to your table and give you time to enjoy each plate. The first course was a simple course of a light cheese dumpling soup and warm fresh bread with a variety of spreads. We found this course an excellent introduction and the soup was exceptionally executed. The second course was a course of appetizers. This is the course we liked the best, the large number of small plates really made the meal feel lavish and each dish was high quality and made with care. I loved the grilled cheese and the spiced apple sauce served with the chicken was delicious. The third course was the entree course, consisting of a number of grilled steaks, poultry, and pasta dishes. The chicken was a bit salty for my tastes but the pasta and the steaks were competently prepared. Lastly, the fourth course was a delightful dessert consisting of flan, chocolate mousse, and a passion fruit mousse. The passion fruit mousse was especially good, but I think each of the desserts worked well to balance each other out. I would like to see dessert with some more variety of texture. The service was perfect, our waiters came around at just the right times and took care to tell us about the dishes on offer. I was equally impressed with the atmosphere. Overall, the dinner price is a little steep, but I think it is well worth it. We will certainly be returning!

It's a bit of a Brazilian steakhouse style (stuff is brought around and you say if you want some of it) and them bringing you the most massive amount of plates that you can ask to refill infinitely. Our bread, soup, and appetizer courses were highlights. The bread was great with multiple spreads, the soup was cooked perfect, and most of the appetizers had a unique twist and quality taste. We enjoyed our steaks and pasta enough, but some were just not worthwhile in small ways--there was a flavorless four cheese pasta for example, and the garlic parm chicken was somewhat salty. The picanha was a bit tough on the outside but perfect inside. None of it was blowing my socks off, but definitely on the good side. Lastly, our dessert course was wonderful. All 3 were perfect, and we were told by I presume the manager to focus on the passion fruit one, which was stellar. If I returned, I'd be interested in trying a fun drink. They have several non alcoholic options that caught my eye. We were very well waited on, and never were left wanting or waiting. The manager himself came around several times and chatted with us a bit. I wish the water glasses were larger so I wasn't pouring constantly, but that's a small gripe. Overall, we enjoyed it here and are already thinking of friends and family to bring next time!

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy.
