This was our first visit and we were greeted immediately when we walked in and our cashier was very friendly and he made really good recommendations. My husband and I both had the lunch special 2 tacos (OMG pork and OMG chicken) (veggie and OMG pork) which came w refried black beans and rice and a choice of soft drink. Delicious. I am Hispanic new in the Celina area. Tried this place yesterday bc I'm from CA and was craving California fries, they were actually pretty good ! My husband got the CA burrito and though he prefers the one from Valerie's in Frisco he thought it was decent. Service was good and the order was accurate for a quick pick up. I'm deducting one star because my daughter loves Mexican rice and they only have lime rice gross ! How can they not offer traditional Mexican rice..anyways I also thought their prices were a little higher than average compared to other places. read more

Favorite local spot right now! Our family loves the Al pastor taco (not as red as we're used to but the flavor is there), and the OMG tacos are all delicious. Don't skip dessert!! They have three churros to choose from and I can't give a favorite because it would start a war. The restaurant is very self service oriented, though they usually do bring the food to us. Lots of easy to clean surfaces that encourage eating and leaving. We've never had trouble finding a table. Also their takeout process is flawless and food all three times I've ordered takeout has been ready before the promised time. Order online--it's easy!! read more

We are from Southern California and struggled to find similar tacos. Well we found them and absolutely love them. We've been probably 20 times in the last 6 months. My favorite is chicken and carne asada. Make sure to get extra red sauce. It's so good and we also need extra. My wife is obsessed with the OMG style tacos with the Asian twist. I always end up adding a few of those too. If you want to save a little on the calories just ask them to not dip your tortilla in oil. Highly recommend this place read more

We went to the soft opening.. the restaurant looks great, the music and the vibes were on point. I'm a big fan of the Richardson location so I was excited to come here (hadn't been to an OMG tacos in a few years, though). I'll be honest, I think they've complicated the menu a bit too much. I wish it was a little more straightforward... even the people in line before us took awhile to read thru it and understand what was going on. So many options and variations... The food was great. Portions were a little small... I went with 2 tacos and shared the OMG elotes. Next time I would spring for 3 tacos... but it would've been pretty expensive. Good food but portions and pricing weren't quite what I wanted, hence the 4 stars. I would come back but not too often read more

I had tacos al pastor the flavor definitely good But the tacos were super greasy can't enjoy the meal feeling sick about it. The other bad thing is the lack of onions and cilantro only 2 of 4 tacos had very little onions and cilantro. So my total order was 8 tacos and a cali burr and give me 4 little hot sauce. Our first time here. It was about 7 pm, the place appeared clean, no other customers. The young girl in front who took our order was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, that's where the customer service ended. You already expect limited service in a fast food, but this was rude and thoughtless. One of us ordered a single pork taco. I ordered two lengua tacos. A small group and a couple came in right after us. 15 minutes later the young waiter hastily slopped our small order onto the table in front of one of us. He quickly uttered, one pork taco, two lengua tacos." He immediately turned and dashed off. We sat there looking at this one plate of food, thinking where is the other plate? We waited as surely this was a mistake and he would be back with my plate. When it was apparent he wasn't coming back, we realized those three tacos on that one plate in front of my friend were for both of us and we were expected to eat off the same plate! No, these were not the nice crispy tacos that you could pick up in your hand, these were soft runny, messy tacos. We did get up to ask for a second plate. Once we finally sorted out which tacos belonged on my plate, using many napkins, we found that the meal was of very poor quality. The pork didn't taste like pork and the lengua tasted undercooked with globs of fat. The meats resembled little squares of what you would find in a cat food can. This was our first and will be the last visit. Hopefully, this was an 'off' night for them. read more

$14 for a bean and cheese burrito? Dont waste your time or money. not a California Mexican Taco Shop, not tex mex = horrible. Not sure what this spot is, taco bell has a better burrito for $2 and we hate fast food. Price withstanding, the bean and cheese burrito was disgusting. It's not that complicated, come on. The teenagers are clueless in the front of the house, shameful, Zero Customer Service. While I was waiting, I saw some orders come out and I thought ill try that next time - Al Pastor taco - it looked good, but, aaaah - I think I'll spend my money elsewhere. Don't get tricked into thinking this is real Mexican food. It's far from it. It's not even real taco shop food, it's garbage. read more

Very disappointed at my first visit to Omg Tacos Celina. Stopped in and ordered food. The staff were friendly so no complaints there. When I got home (12 min drive) my order was not correct. It was missing one meal. I understand things happened but when I called they basically said sorry you should have checked your order before you left and would suggest you do that next time. That's it! I would think, being a new restaurant they would have offered something up other than saying I should have checked the order myself. Wow! (By the way I wasn't charged so there was no money loss). Now the food, it was ok. Nothing to write home about and not sure I'd return, and the chips were stale. The other thing that left a not so nice feeling is that we asked for xtra onions and cilantro and was charged xtra for each. I can understand a charge for cheese or guacamole, but onions and cilantro. Now the positives, the guacamole was excellent as was the queso. read more

The food was fine. But, it took forever to get our food and given the availability of taco choices around, I don't know that I would be in any great hurry to go back. Relative to the size and quality of the tacos, coupled with the very long wait (like 30 minutes after we ordered), I feel like it was over-priced. And, before anyone gets on the prices have gone up everywhere bandwagon, I understand that and do not mind paying for food. The food was very mediocre. The tacos are tiny. The cheese fries and nachos have cold shredded cheese sprinkled on top- not melted. When I asked why it wasn't melted they told us that's how it comes- very odd. The margaritas are just disgusting. And on top of that, the staff was extremely rude. I would not return. read more

It was not busy when we arrived and we actually prefer that way - less noise, less urgency to clear the table for other diners/drinkers, just overall more laid back. And that is exactly what we got. OMG this is the worst Taco place I have ever been to. I wish I could give zero stars. My experience at OMG Tacos was nothing short of a disaster. First off, the staff seemed more interested in gossiping about customers than actually working. I heard them making negative comments about the number of customers complaining while I was waiting, which made the atmosphere incredibly uncomfortable. Speaking of waiting, it took a grueling 45 minutes for my tacos to arrive in the world's smallest to go box. When they finally did, I was sorely disappointed. The tacos were mostly lettuce and sour cream, with barely any actual meat or flavor. It felt like I was eating a salad wrapped in a tortilla. The trashcan in the dining room was overflowing to the ground and looked like it hadn't been changed all day. Overall, the poor service and lackluster food makes it a place I won't be returning to. Save yourself the trouble and find a better spot for tacos! Taco Bell perhaps? read more

I recently visited OMG Tacos in Celina during their soft opening, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant has a cool, trendy vibe, highlighted by unique light fixtures that really set the tone for a modern and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to hang out and grab a bite. I ordered the OMG chicken taco with cilantro and spicy sauce, and it was flavorful and satisfying--definitely a solid choice if you're looking for something with a kick. However, they don't have breakfast tacos on the menu yet, which I'm hoping will change soon. That would definitely complete their offerings. The tacos were excessively greasy, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste and to make matters worse, the meat was riddled with fat that had to be cut out, further diminishing the dining experience. The prices were unjustifiably high for the quality of food served. The tacos lacked the authenticity and flavor that one would expect from a taco shop. I'm so excited this place is finally open in Celina! This is a nice new addition off Preston! Yummy food, service was great and nice ambiance. Originally went on their soft opening weekend and was impressed how they handled things despite long lines. Have already ordered here three times.
