The woman I've seen a few times behind the counter is always friendly, bubbly and seems to be working hard to ensure everyone has a great experience-- and even helped me save a few dollars by recommending a combo deal instead of the way I'd been ordering my food ala carte. I love the steak taco, fried fish taco, queso and guac. They've done a great job pairing the ingredients to make the tacos stand out from other spots and I love that I can get non-breakfast food early in the morning (I'm a lunch for breakfast kinda girl). I'm new to the area as of February and the staff at Crush Taco offered the best customer service I've experienced since moving and honestly, I've had in years between 2 states! They were so accommodating and went over the menu with me. They checked on me several times, asking how everything was, if they could get me anything and how I'd heard about them. Let me start by saying this was a door dash order. I've not visited the restaurant nor have I experienced the staff. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Taco and a Cornflake Crusted Shrimp Taco. I honestly struggled with this review. Why? Because the flavor profile was met - it was good. For me, food is an experience. When I think of a taco, it is a folded tortilla filled with various mixtures. I get the concept of not wanting to skimp on fillings but as you can see from the picture, there is NO WAY to pick this up and eat as a taco. It's more of a taco bowl until it's 3/4 eaten with a fork to then be eaten as a taco. It would've been 4 stars if I had tortillas at home to make tacos from this taco bowl. For 5 stars (for me) it would be amazing to receive multiple tortillas to make multiple tacos. Bottom line - the flavor doesn't trump the experience. This was our second visit to the Stonebrook Crush Taco, and my only regret is not coming here sooner. We've lived in Little Elm for six years, and the Eldorado and Tollway location is so close I can't believe we never visited. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and everything we've tried has been great. We loved the queso on our first visit, and this time we added the guacamole, which was just as good. So Crush Taco , This location is set up a bit strange, when you walk in there a huge bar like you would normally get beers at like a taco restaurant. However they only had one margarita machine. Went in for some breakfast tacos to go. We tried 3 different varieties. All had the same issue, the queso cheese. Not only was the queso bland and flavorless, but the tacos were smothered in it. I shouldn't need a fork to eat a taco. Regardless of the toppings all of them should be called queso tacos, that's all we tasted.
