Had a burrito, wasn't bad but wasn't wow it was good enough that I would come back but not one that I would rave about to people. If I saw it I'd stop by but not crave to return over and over. read more

Anyone who eats street tacos knows you double wrap the corn tortilla, but not this place. The Al pastor taco was good, but it didn't come with pineapple even though it said it did online. The second time I ordered it, it did come with the pineapple. The steak ones were a bit chewy and tough. Bit bland in flavor, but I'm glad we have a place close by on 423 and 380 at least. The chicken flautas have cheese inside them and I've never seen that before. Usually it's just chicken. Ate one and tossed it as it had a funky taste to it. The kicker was the chorizo breakfast taco. They serve breakfast tacos all day. This was the WORST chorizo breakfast taco I've ever had in my life and I've had a lot. The chorizo was incredibly burnt like someone forgot they were cooking it and then just scrapped it from the burnt bottom of the pan. Complete garbage and bitter. The tacos were also really pricey for what they are. Street tacos shouldn't cost that much. read more

This place was amazing! Walking in, the restaurant appeared clean and tidy. My order was to go and I ordered chips and guacamole, the guac came in a deli container that was stuffed full, more guac than i think I've ever received at a restaurant, most places are way too skimpy but not this place. The guac was also very fresh with whole chunks of avocado, not just puree like most places, it also had diced tomatoes as well. For the main dish we got the asada elote that was a full corn on the cob loaded with cotija and all sorts of other sauces and seasonings. As well as pork, barbacoa, and pastor tacos all on corn tortillas. The pastor tacos were by far the favorite but all of them were great, packed full, and loaded with toppings. You are absolutely getting your money worth here! Lastly, we got the churro which was amazing as expected at this point in the meal. We will absolutely be back time and time again. Everything was full and hearty with great flavor. The only suggestion i would make is adding a tad bit more salt and lime to the guac. But we did that ourselves with the limes that came with the tacos. read more

It's a lovely little joint near our home and the menu selection is pretty big! Very clean and the staff are friendly/I formative. Plenty of seating for small groups and the music is fun. The tacos were good but certainly overly priced for the portion size and quantity (1). We ordered 2 street tacos: quesobirria ($4.99) and carnita ($3.75) and it came out to be $9.46. I understand that it's a small business and it's very local to the residential homes nearby so pricing is advantageous to the owner, but it certainly is outrageous to be paying over $3.25 per taco. read more

Gimme Taco - Brisket tacos with guacamole and chips! - Tacos Near Me - Aubrey, Texas

Pleasantly surprised! Right under our noses for the last year and our first time here. We had breakfast burritos. I had the bacon, wife had the veggie. Delicious. Hit the spot perfectly. The salsa / hot sauce was perfect too. One has an earthiness and one brings the heat. And the food tastes clean! Not overly greasy which can be hard to find! With how hard it is to find good breakfast burritos in this state, Gimme Taco hit the spot! See ya next Saturday! read more

Let's start with their chorizo. Imo the best in dfw! Great flavor! Tacos are stuffed and toasted nice. The chimichanga is delicious and stuffed with steak. And the Mexican burger is probably one of the best in the city. read more

Gimme Taco - Barbacoa Tacos - Tacos Near Me - Aubrey, Texas

This location opened a few months ago, easy access off of highway 380 even with the construction. Outside of the building looks very nice and there logo is a taco so that's cool.. Then we walk inside and completely a different story. Very dark dinning area and the decor is like non existent. Two tvs and they are not like restaurant tv's like these look like get the tv out of the spare bedroom type tv. Then we get to the counter and start looking over the menu and looks great and prices not too bad. We go to place our order and the first four items we try and order the cashier walks too the window and makes sure they still have enough. This is alarming to me as I don't want the last scoop of that day's supply. I'm just weird like that. So go early in the day to get it fresh and then at night for the heated leftovers. Kinda like thanksgiving at the family's So now the food, tacos are about a 5 to 6 out of 10. Lots of onions and cilantro and the Barbacoa was pretty good. Then again we get a curve ball, we ordered the elotes. So it's corn on the cob then they put like all kinds of sauce all over and very very strong. I'm mean why are trying so hard on a classic dish? Lots of room for improvement, make some adjustments here and there will get you 4 stars all day. For that 5 star you will have to make some changes to the food.. Fat Boy Tip: skip the elotes and get the tres leches or some kind of dessert. read more

Very small portions. The nachos were half the size compared to before. The steak had several bits of hard tendon. They must be cutting their budget and trying to make a little bit of food stretch. read more

Food is okay. The service is terrible. The people at the counter have no customer service skills. Very rude at the front.

I ordered the barbacoa burrito, menu said extra large, it was smaller than most places. Meat was way too salty, it was so bad I threw it in the trash, they serve it to go and I think that's a waste of plastic and styrofoam. They had a fresh tea brewer but no fresh tea. They do have beer and margaritas. The place was clean. read more

I've been here twice now, both times were exhilarating culinarily. Having lived in San Antonio for a few years, I have been really missing the accessibility of good and authentic Mexican food. This checks all my boxes. Al pastor quesadilla for dinner the first time was bursting with sweet, Smokey, gooey greatness. Went for breakfast this morning and partook in both a burrito and a taco. GET THE CHORIZO BURRITO, one of those things you take one bite and fall back in your chair. Definitely try Gimme Taco and sprint there now for the breakfast burrito. read more

I really wish they would've stayed consistent with their food. I've been the last few times & my order has been either wrong, taken forever & served cold or has no flavor at all. I'm unsure what happened because this place was PHENOMENAL when they first opened & I was so excited to have a delicious taco place nearby...now not so much. Just another food place that's declined after opening...so sad. I hope they work something out & turn things around for the good! read more

Delicious!! My favorites are the shrimp tacos, Pastor, and quesabirria. Seasoned perfectly, amazing flavor and fair prices. Love the salsa as well! Yum!! read more

Very happy to have a Mexican restaurant close to me that is as close to traditional as I'm use to from California. I tried to do an online order but the site wasn't working. First time here & got food to go. The staff were pretty good about explaining some of the menu items. I ordered a steak, quesadilla, chips and queso and churros.. (Although it was an hour and a half before closing, when I ordered - they were out of all desserts, but churros) The quesadilla was good. Made fresh and not thin. It's supposed to come with sour cream and pico de gallo. But I found those containers were on the small side. The chips and queso was irritatingly, funny,. It's also the reason I'm only giving this three stars. Keep in mind I literally ordered chips and queso. Wouldn't you expect the queso to be somewhat substantial in quantity? Newp. See the attached photo of it. PS - the churros were excellent. read more

Food here is pretty good but it's overpriced for what you get. So I have ordered takeout from here a couple times and both times the food is pretty good but just feel it's super overpriced. You don't get a lot of meat on your quesadilla or burrito. I like this place but won't frequent due to the value! read more

I went in person and it was amazing. The food was hot , they used fresh ingredients. The staff was very friendly, and the store was very clean. They didn't have too many people in the store, but I think that's just because of where it's located in the traffic. However, I've ordered on DoorDash multiple times since. read more

Second visit, and honestly, the food just keeps getting better. My newfound favorite taco is the tripas; they deep fry it, and Lord, it is delicious! Can't go wrong eating here! I'm so glad Aubrey has this establishment Now I'm waiting for the drink machines to come in to try the Horchata!! I know this might be too early to request, but I hope they can add soups to their menu in the colder months. Would absolutely try their Caldo, Menudo and Pozole! read more

Ordered lunch from here today, and it was pretty meh. The steak tacos were kind of bland. They consisted of steak, onion, cilantro, a slice of radish, and a slice of lime. The steak was bland, and the lime did really give it the pop of Lagos I was expecting with the onions and cilantro. I also noticed there were no sauces served with the tacos, so they were kind of bland. The steak torta was good, again it was kind of bland, and it was very heavy on the beans. The beans actually over took the entire sandwich. Each bite was packed with them. I also never had a torta with jalapeños, but I like them, so it wasn't an unwelcome surprise. They added a needed crunch element to the torta. The chicken quesadillas was good, but it was more chicken than cheese. The chicken did have great flavor. The tortillas were also grilled nicely and had a very satisfying crunch. The chips and guacamole were also pretty meh. Both could have used more seasoning. The service was great. The restaurant was very nice, very modern. I'm definitely going to go back... good street tacos are hard to find. Maybe some sauce will help add the flavor I'm looking for. read more

The food, to me, is top notch for a fast casual place. To be fair, I have only had Chicken Quesadilla and Chips and Queso. But I have had it quite a bit, and it is so good that I just don't care to try anything else. The chicken is seasoned good, it is made to order, and the queso, is some of the best I have had. They are pretty fast at getting you your order also. I recommend this place for a quick good meal. read more

I wanted to express how deeply disappointed I am at the Aubrey location. This was our first time there and the service was beyond bad. The girl at the front was not friendly nor was she not helpful. And was acting as if I was getting in her nerves. I couldn't pronounce certain items on the menu and she didn't even to help me pronounce them or help in general. Then when I placed my order I specifically asked for extra limes. We ordered 7 quesabirria tacos and only 3 limes were given. So then I asked for more limes and she rolled her eyes and something in Spanish to the lady making the food. That lady then looked up at me with disgust and then I was handed 3 more limes. I'm not sure who this will reach, but I will be posting in different websites until someone responds read more
