Really nice place art everywhere even on the tables. They have a kiosk to order your food. I chose the combo tacos to go. Place is starting to pick up quick, place was half full for people dining in. I think these are the best street tacos in Plano. It's a little expensive for tacos, but man they don't skimp on food quality or presentation. I was presented with a bag with a handle. On the bag on both sides had a Mexican themed day of the dead face of a woman. The packaging came in heavy duty plastic container separating each of the tacos. I come often and usually have a good experience! The flavor of the food is amazing but today was off. I came around 11:30. I ordered birria bean and queso nachos. Food came out in literally 4 minutes. The meat on top was smoking hot but the beans and queso were ice cold... I told the server and they made me a new plate of nachos but it was still the same thing, just steaming meat on top of cold queso and beans. I decided to just take the meat off and I barely see any chips, queso, or beans. So very disappointed.. read more

Likely the best birria tacos in Plano! Though they're the only ones I've tried in the area I doubt there's any better anywhere near. This place has a great variety of birria from pizza to ramen! That's classically my fav options! But I tasted the shrimp tacos and felt like I shoulda got those insteaddd omgggg SOOO GOOD! The taki birria was very flavorful nonetheless! Everything I tried and got was good honestly. Even their signature hot sauces! Just wish the trio appetizer included corn instead of pico! The service was very nice she made accommodations to bring food out as is was ready and not all at the same time (I wanted my appetizers before food) and explained everything I needed to know (because my son was craving cheese pizza but the crust of the birria pizza isn't real crust it's just baked cheese). Talkin' Tacos has really cool artwork and decor when you enter. An interested aspect of the restaurant is you order at a kiosk when you enter vs. a traditional cash register or waiter. There are two kiosk and one wasn't working, so it took a bit longer to order the food. Once the food was ordered it came out pretty fast (within about 5 minutes). I ordered the Sweet Plantains (I rate them 3.5 out of 5 - standard plantains). Also, the Birria Tacos which were average - the consomme sauce that goes with birria tacos was watery, and needed a slightly thicker consistency. I rate the Birria tacos 3 out of 5. Lastly, I ordered the Steak Rice Bowl (I rate it a 3 out of 5). The taco bowl was nice and flaky & the ingredients of the bowl were fresh. Overall, the food was very average and I wouldn't return unless I was in the area and wanted a quick taco meal. read more
