People talk about Whataburger or Scotty P's down the street but this place is head and shoulders and for the same price. I had the Avocado cheeseburger with jalapeños and it was beyond delicious. Thick stacked full of fresh vegetables. I'm a big red onion fan and the red onion was fresh and full size to cover the whole bun. The restaurant (for pick up only) was extremely clean and the cooking area looked spotless from the register. They had the falafel rice plate advertised but wasnt included in the drive thru menu, i really wanted to try that. Probably wont be back tho. Very disappointed!!! We decided to try this place for takeout bc it is so nearby. Got home to discover that they got my order all wrong, so I called them. The manager would not credit us, but offered a discount on our next visit. I will not return. I tried to scrape things off and salvage my meal, but the chicken was very dry (maybe why they'd covered it in toppings I didn't order). My Caesar salad included tomatoes and onion..??? Olive other burger places much more... 2 or 3 stars, debated this with every bite. Preformed patty and standard bun like you can by at Costco or Sam's, unripe tomato sliver, shredded iceberg lettuce. You get two stars for this. Was exactly like the crappy burgers you get at a church outing or company picnic. Really delicious burgers, fries, and onion rings (we've yet to try the tots but I'm sure they're delish). The burgers are HUGE, each 1/2 lb, so plan your other meals accordingly (or share. No really, don't share, they're too incredible.). The meat is really well seasoned and you can have it cooked to order (yay!). We ordered a couple of the Olive Cheese Burgers, a Mushroom Swiss Burger, a Jalapeno Burger, and a beef Philly Cheesesteak to-go and everyone loved everything. Fries are lightly seasoned and fried perfectly and the onion rings are gloriously golden and puffy. I know that tons of people have been to the Olive Burger in Richardson because it's one of the best burgers around, but this review is for the newly opened Olive Burger in Plano at 2129 W.Parker Road. First off, the address is sort of misleading because the restaurant is really off of Custer, right across from a Goodyear mechanic. Hopefully my photos will help. It's towards the Braum's on Custer from the Parker intersection. I asked the owner and he said the restaurant just opened a week ago, but the place looks very clean and it has the much needed space the original location lacked. Besides us there was just one other family when we got there so it seems like most people still don't know it opened. We got the cheeseburger, shawarma wrap and fries. Shawarma was surprisingly small for $7.50 and wasn't the shawarma we're used to at all lol but it was still good so we didn't really care. The cheeseburger didn't seem like the classic Olive Burger though. It wasn't cut in half (which didn't really matter but I prefer it that way) and was greasier than usual. It also just didn't have the special taste that makes me love Olive Burger so much. Being honest here though it could just be because they just opened so I don't blame them for this one time. Bathrooms seemed clean but there was a sort of funky odor over there but it wasn't that bad. Decor was similar to the original restaurant but I think it looked better in the new location. New place was a lot better lit and felt a lot less cramped so that was definitely a plus. Sidenote: We found out the hard way that the restaurant gets pretty loud pretty easily because of the echo or whatever and that they run out of tables quick. A party of 20+ desi people came to eat there (which I thought was strange because it's a burger joint, but to each their own I guess) and it got pretty loud pretty quickly and there were basically no tables left. Besides them, there were only my brother and I and another two families, and there were only two tables left. Luckily we got out of there quick. If that sort of thing is a regular occurrence they may end up running out of room even more than the old location. Overall I'm looking forward to them getting to the same point as the other restaurant to try them again. read more

Olive Burger has been around awhile but I only recently visited for the first time. Not a big burger person, but I was in the same shopping center and noticed the windows said they offer gyros. When I walked in it was very clean and I liked that the menu board states what is in each sandwich or burger. There were also some helpful and colorful pics of the food. I ordered a gyro and fries to go. Let me say that the fries are super good, lightly dusted with seasoning. Can't wait to go back and try the tots. My gyro had a large portion of meat, couldn't even fold it closed to eat like a sandwich. I liked that the sauce was in a separate container so my sandwich wasn't soggy. Next visit will try the tots and ask for extra on the yummy sauce. Also, the staff person at the counter was very helpful answering my questions about the food. This location is a little hard to find but I hope more folks will support this local business and enjoy the good food. read more

This used to be my go to place for a hamburger over 2 years ago when it first opened. But, slowly the quality has gone down hill. They first removed the Diet Dr. Pepper from the fountain about a year ago. Since then they have reduced the quality and menu items to about half what they offered before. There are TVs inside on the wall, but they are never turned on, so you just sit in the quiet, no entertainment. The burger I got today was dry and the french fries appeared to be frozen and reheated. It was literally ice cold when I received it. The cook had forgotten to ring my pager to signal it was ready, so it sat in the window for 10 minutes, with other people in the restaurant were coming up to smell it, pull it out of the window and put it back. My pager never went off, and after about 10 minutes, the cook waved at me to pick it up. I showed her my pager didn't go off and she apologized, but didn't offer to remake it. After a couple bites, I asked for a refund. Only then did they want to remake it, but my appetite was already ruined at that point. Even if it hadn't been cold, it was sparsely made with a small bit of shredded lettuce and a couple pickle slices, very unlike the pictures online and in the store showing lettuce leaves. It's like what you would get from Burger King on their $1 menu now, slightly larger. Definitely not worth the $11 that I paid. Sadly, I'm done as a Olive Burger patron after today's experience. It was nice while it lasted. But, I don't see this place hanging around much longer with the reduced quality. YOUR PATRONS KNOW WHEN YOU REDUCE QUALITY AND CARE! Got the chicken ceasar wrap and gyros, fries and fried jalapenos. Fries were AWESOME. Super crispy, cooked absolutely perfectly. Gyro was astounding, came with extra sauce on the side. Huge portion, i could not finish. My girlfriend couldnt finish her wrap either but she loved it. It had croutons in it which i had never seen before in a wrap. Fried jalapenos were amazing too.
