What drew me is I remembered having eaten a great burger from a place in the area a long while ago…read more The pictures of burgers looks good and the name sounded right so we stopped by. The parking lot was like what I remembered but inside was a different layout so I am not sure if it was the same spot. Anyway, prices were very reasonable! When the food came out, we could immediately see it passed the eye test--cheese drizzling, real meat, grilled bun. First bite was excellent--I could taste the grilled bun, the flavor of the burger and even the crisped grilled parts of the meat. All other bites, just the same. Had me audibly saying "yum". On top of that, they offered horchata to drink and it was delicious. The fries weren't only well seasoned but they also had an usual kick of heat. This will be my go-to burger spot when I'm in the Garland area. Thanks for being great and charging fairly!

WOW, a GREAT divey burger joint! Somewhat easy to find and enough parking. It is cozy, so don't…read morebring a large party. Lots of drink options from the standard soft drinks, iced tea, fruit drinks and horchata! The service is fast, friendly and helpful! The burgers and fries are the stars. I had the Big House combo (Massive, 3 patties with American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and mustard). it includes a drink and fries. Really good fries. There are more reasonable big burgers, but my hunger was unreasonable and I needed a burger that was too big to eat, a knife and fork burger. The flavor was absolutely spot on! I'm guessing each patty was a 1/2 pounder. perfectly caramelized, moist, beefy. Price was VERY reasonable. Yes, no burger was left behind. I did go home and take a long nap afterwards :)

I have probably tried every single burger on their menu and Rodeo Goat is a classic, high quality,…read morego-to burger spot for me. I have came here with family and friends visiting, I have ordered this for takeout countless times. Rodeo Goat is where it's at I'll be talking about the 2 most recent burgers I tried - The brisket beef attacked my arteries in the best way - the brisket melts in your mouth (overshadows the beef though). This is the meatiest burger I've ever had from here. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so the sugar bomb is the most frequently ordered burger for me (maybe 10+ times?). I really enjoy the arugula mixed in with grilled peaches, a bit of jam and the party itself. I love this burger and I hope it never leaves the menu. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive - points to them!

I want to love this place. I really do, but with so many nice or better burger options available,…read moreI'm just going to say I will choose somewhere that offers medium rare burgers or hits high on the napkins quotient (as in, how messy and greasy it - the more, the better). Rodeo Goat seems more of a schtick theme. We started with the "Steaming Pile," which is basically characterized as bacon-cheese tots with additional goat cheese & a sunny side up egg. The egg was properly cooked. The portion was small for $10. It's really not a shareable size for more than two light eaters. There was zero hint of truffle oil. The Cowboy Cobb salad was a healthy portion, and all was good except for two things: the "jalapeño croutons" were not crispy in any way - they were like what would happen if a mushy hush puppy and tempura batter had a love child and it wrapped itself around an uncivilized jalapeño trying to socially climb. The second was that the burger patty had no cheese (why bother?) & I know it was an add-on. I ordered the Inspector Clousseau. Not much of a smash on the over-cooked patties. And, yes, I know what to expect from smash burger, but again, these patties were two the thickness of anything I've ever seen called a smash burger. More importantly, the pan sauce poured over the entire plate was cold and congealed. Generally, the flavor was okay. The service was nice, but at premium prices, I'm looking for elevated effort from the kitchen.
