The inside is super tiny. You can't hardly squeeze in so there aren't many places to sit. There is one picnic table outside to sit. The burgers are pretty good, nothing fancy. I had the avocado cheese burger. The fries are really good and a medium portion was plenty. The lemonade? UGH! It had a funky flavor...almost tasted like pickle juice in it. They do have a good variety of flavored drinks and bottled/canned drinks to choose from. We didn't try the churros or fried Oreos but they smelled good. As small as it is, it seems to get really good business from the neighborhood. The young lady taking orders was very polite and patient with us newbies.

This was a good place to come get a nice size burger. I called ahead on this occasion to avoid wait times. The location is situated in garland off Lavon, next to a car shop. The location is cozy and could possibly be considered a hole in the wall. The burger itself was made fresh and the patty was a good size . The burger was seasoned well and the sweet potato fries were crispy . Overall a good meal and not overly expensive. You get a good amount of food and the quality was good. Nice addition to this area if you have a taste for a burger.

To be honest, I wasn't sure about this place when I pulled into the parking lot. It sits in a strip of shops next to a gas station. They say looks are deceiving and that couldn't be more true. From the outside it makes you wonder about city food inspection scores, but on the inside it's a different impression. The service was friendly and quick. You have a place to sit while you wait. I would not recommend it for a large group. The food is fresh and made to order. You can't beat the price at $11.08 for a full meal with a drink. Give Burger House a try if you are looking for a local place that serves a good burger!

I love going to hidden gems only locals know about. My niece recommended this burger spot because of the lunch specials and it did not disappoint! for 8.99, you get a burger, fries, and a canned soda. the burgers are big and filling, which kinda sucks because I was too full to eat all the delicious fries. they also had sandwiches, kids menu options, tacos, and even desserts and aguas frescas. It is pretty small though as the max capacity is 30, so I would not recommend for a large group or if you plan to stick around for lunch, but if you're in the area, even if it's not lunch time, I highly recommend stopping by.

The service always makes or break it for me... service was top notch. My sandia was yummy. My burger was made perfectly, not greasy at all. My fries were perfect. I'd go back for sure.

I ordered the Monroe's cheeseburger and fries via Grubhub and was pleasantly surprised. The burger and fries were homemade and perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely order from here again when I feel like splurging on good, greasy cheat meal.

Yall. New favorite burger place for us right now. The Burger House takes an American classic and infuses it with Mexican flavor. These burger patties were well salted and seasoned - NO bland burgers here! They are generous with cheese, toppings and overall portion size. What more can I say?! Seeing the size, I had originally thought I was just going to eat half...5 minutes in I'm already close to done. Was just the perfect salty, juicy flavor. I washed my jalapeño cheeseburger down with an agua de Jamaica and the pairing was perfect - the sweet tartness of the agua with the salty, spiciness of the burger. Now the best part - THE CARNE ASADA FRIES. YALL. These are NOT an after thought...I regretted not just ordering that as my main meal! Not that my burger wasn't perfection! The carne asada was perfectly cooked - no chewy dry meat, seasoned and again the freshness of the veggies with the hot savory meat and fries with the cooling effect of the sour cream. Ugh it was just sooo good. Guys $35 and have you a dinner for 2 better than any fine dining LOL

This small "Burger House" serves up some big tasty portions. If you're craving a burger in Garland check them out.

Talk about off the beaten path! I haven't been in this part of Dallas in Decades. I've decided to start checking out some new burger joints and Burger House just happened to be in the middle of point A to Point B. Let's just say,you have to have an adventurous spirit to seek this place out. Hidden in an endless sea of used car lots, small industrial shops and traffic, you will pass it at first attempt. Persevere and you'll be rewarded with a cooked to order burger. No chain predictability here, this is the kind of place you may say,"I'm not going there" when you drive up! But,these are great operators. Super friendly and they know how to cook food. Take a look at my pics of the white board menus. Not just hamburgers but a nice sampling of sandwiches, quesadilla, doctored up fries, breakfast Sammies...I want to try it all. Today I stuck with the classic cheeseburger. It was a solid 5. Obviously smashed onto a flat top grill on high heat till the edges are crisp and caramelized. $3.25 extra made it a combo with hand cut fresh french fries and a Mango Lemon drink. All for $10... Are you kidding me. I was so happy I tipped twice. One at point of sale devices and cash at the table. I just have one word for you.... Go!

Very Good! Many regular burgers and Mexican fusion too. No frills - the food does all the talking!! A complete hole in the wall with 3 tables and 8 bar stools along the wall. Large burger, patty to all edges, moist but not greasy, excellent cook, great bacon, fresh toppings. Fries were nice (not the crispy type, but good). My friend and I were hungry and saw that The Burger House had great reviews. It's a family owned "hole in the wall" burger restaurant with a Mexican twist. We did get a little lost on our way there, but it's located next to a Shell gas station. First, the carne asada fries caught our attention! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. They definitely didn't skimp out on the toppings: tender carne asada, pickled jalapeños, cheese avocado slices, sour cream, cilantro, and tomatoes. The portion size was generous, and overall, it was incredibly delicious. I ordered the Monroy Cheese Burger and medium size drink and fries combo. It's a decently sized burger, although my critique would be that the patties were on the thinner side. However, the meat was juicy and the toppings added great flavor. It was a very solid burger and left me full! As for the combo - the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. They have ketchup as well as hot sauces and other condiments. The drinks were a real hit for me! There is an assortment of Mexican beverages that are much better than your typical soda offerings in regular burger spots. I picked the Cucumber Lemon Drink, which was very refreshing. It was just a tad too sweet for my liking, but I still finished the whole thing. My friend ordered the Chicken Melt, which was also another standout item. The chicken breast was tender and juicy. There was a generous amount of melted cheese, and the tomatoes and bacon were a perfect a touch. The sandwich was served on a perfectly toasted sour dough. Finally, I couldn't resist finishing our decadent meal without some churros! I opted for the caramel churros. Again, the size was very generous. The churros were good, although I've had better. But the price is pretty good and hey, you can't go wrong with churros! Overall, I would highly recommend The Burger House. It's definitely much better than going to your typical fast food burger place, and you're supporting a local, family-owned spot as well!

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. Here it is 13 years later then it is still going strong. I went for lunch with the family on a snow day. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

You order at the counter and then wait for your food to be brought to you. The girl who took our order was very pleasant and helpful. I got the Irish nacho but I substituted onion strings for the french fries and she happily made the substitution. The burger was pretty thick and nicely char grilled. I love a good char. It was very good. My only complaint was that I like mine a little less well done cuz it might have been a little overcharred and a tad dry for my liking, but I think that could be rectified by just ordering it medium next time. The bun is toasted which I love. It comes with ranch dressing which was definitely made in-house and delicious (and I'm a ranch snob). It had lots of melted cheddar cheese and onion strings on it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband got the hatch green chili burger and he loved it tho he said his was a little overdone as well. The kids both got the classic burger which comes with two smash patties instead of the one thicker one and they said that theirs was good as well. I got the sweet potato waffle fries which were a little thinner than I'm used to but I actually preferred it that way cuz they weren't soggy and had a little crispiness to the edges. The drinks come in a plastic cup that you can take home with you which I love. So overall very good and pleasantly surprised first visit. Only complaints were that, again, the burgers were a little overcooked and I'll order medium next time and it was a little pricey... $70 for the four of us getting combos.
