It's the quintessential "greasy spoon" burger joint. Roll up your sleeves and dive in to one of Darren's "bad-ass" burgers! Since discovering this hidden gem a few years back, we've eaten here at least once a month for lunch. The burgers are made to order, greasy, and oh so good! I usually get the "half-ass burger" with cheese and with...get this...fresh grilled jalapenos...WOW! It's a life changing experience! The names of the burgers are hilarious: Bad-Ass, Half-Ass, Total-Ass, No-Ass, etc... The fries are fresh, but nothing noteworthy whereas the ambiance and random wall art is quite entertaining. It's just a good random spot to land for a quick bite with everyday folks.

Great dive bar! Lunch is great and great prices. It is simple but sometimes at regular grilled cheese or a good burger is all you want!

The fish and chips were great, 3 to an order and the batter was light and airy with a good crunch, fries were nicely seasoned, Cole slaw was delicious, fresh and dressed nicely, tartar sauce was good. Onion rings were dense and gluey. Meh. Service was excellent. I did sneak a peak at the table next to ours and the burgers looked awesome. Will definitely go back.

On my most recent visit, Casey was our server, and she was the bomb. She was on top of everything, including keeping my water full! My favorite food is fried pickles, and omg. Theirs are perfect!!! They are crispy with a perfect ratio of batter and pickle. And the full order is huge--literally the most generous order of fried pickles I have EVER seen! My burger was also great, and the side salad (needed some greenery) was a very generous size for a side salad! We also had two children with us, and Casey ensured they had everything they needed. We also wanted to watch a specific basketball game, and she also got that on the TV. What a great spot!!!

We go to Renny's for the nostalgia of Maguire's, a wonderful dinner all around…read more The ahi tuna napoleon was our appetizer, fresh fish with a really light wonton crisp. The mangos add a nice sweetness & really makes the dish. We went there for the meatloaf, Maguire's meatloaf never disappoints. It's the same delicious dish from 20+ years ago that brings happiness to the heart. Crispy onions, with cheddar mashed potatoes... love, love, love. The maple ginger salmon was cooked perfectly, & you can't go wrong with shrimp and crab the fried rice to accompany it. Lychee Lovebomb with the ube foam, no regrets. The staff greeted us upon arrival & we were seated with a few minutes, each person was friendly & courteous. Our waiter was very attentive, they got busier throughout the night & provided excellent service all around. Beautiful atmosphere, yet casual enough without the need to get all dressed up. Looking forward to coming back!

We dined here on a Saturday evening and it was a good meal, but there are a few things holding the…read moreexperience back from a five-star rating. I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.

It's definitely different than sitting in the bar section in very small tables and booths next to the bar. I would never choose to sit in the tables in the bar area. Unfortunately, as our luck would have it, whenever we select the standard seating, we tend to be sat in the small bar tables. This time I asked them to move us. They accommodated us (there were two large booths available in the main area), but the attitude was not great in doing so. The bar seating issue is enough to make me think about whether I want to go there again. Our server, Madison, was great. She was helpful, friendly, communicated well, and let us set the pace. Started with cocktails, which was an interesting experience, because the bar had some difficulties and so each of four drinks was brought out one at a time with a few minutes in between each. Not a huge deal but weird. Enjoyed a couple of wedge salads, which were nice. For entrées, one couple shared the flat iron steak, which they both enjoyed. The crabcake and fillet special was very good. The fried pork rustica was excellent. It's a lot of pork, but I would recommend it.

We made reservations and requested a booth and they seated us having acknowledged our request. The service ? Superb. Food? Creative, delicious and played beautifully! I asked for his recommendations, everything he recommended was super yummy.. I started with some deviled eggs! The splash of hot sauce complimented the eggs so well and the crunch of the bacon put a nice twist to it. I really enjoyed the filling it wasn't too sweet nor did it have a lot of extra ingredients. 10/10 for sure!! For my entree I went with the blackened snapper, I subbed mashed potatoes instead of the potato salad. I'm very particular about my potato salad I was too nervous to try it. After speaking with Paula I wish I would've tried it. No worries I'll come back just to try it. This snapper is good some of the best blackened snapper I've had. It was so moist and flaky the cream sauce made it even better. Chefs kiss for sure! 10/10 For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake, if you're a chocolate lover this will be your go to. Although it says cake to me it had more of like a fudge texture. The raspberry sauce really helped out with cutting the sweetness of the chocolate. The restaurants fairly small, they have a huge selection of alcohol. I wasn't able to order a drink I was still sobering up from the night before. The bartender I didn't get her name she was super pleasant and helpful as well! I'll most definitely recommend lounge here
