This is a great place. It is friendly, community oriented, clean inside, and the last time I ate there they had good ribs.

Wow!! What a great find. The service was great, thank you Sara. The food was great. Burgers, wings and tenders were on list today. The burgers were cooked to perfection and the veggies were fresh. The tenders were crispy with fries. The wings and sauce, wow! The steak fries and onion rings were crispy and freshly made. Mexican corn was good. Will try their Talapia next time. read more

Food was really good, i had the jalapeño burger, it was fresh and tasted great, lady at the front was very attentive with me.

Service was amazing by Kaleb. Initially, I was craving a juicy burger with a large soda and sweet potato fries, this place fixed my cravings! I had the mushroom swing burger and it was hot, juicy, and served with that perfect crispy potato fries! I will definitely be back. read more

This is a great spot, we were looking for a quick bite and ended up here. We've seen this place before but never stopped. Our youngest wanted a milkshake and boy did they deliver. Upon entering the cashier/waitress asked if were going to order to go or dine in. We opted to dine in and she gave us menus and told us to choose a table. She came over and took our order and even made major suggestions based on our little boy questions and preferences. My husband had a Turkey Burger with onion rings which he enjoyed. I had the veggie burger on lettuce with a side of mixed veggies. My veggies were so well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The veggie mixture had brocoli, zucchini, carrot and onion and it were great. Our younger son had Mac and cheese with fries and a milkshake (Oreo cookie mixed with strawberry) and he loved his milkshake. The Mac and cheese on the other hand was not el denté it was boiled too long but he ate it because he was starving. The server is great and very involved, we had a great first visit. read more

New to the neighborhood and skeptical of the location where the Burger Shop is. Not that it looks bad it's just in a lonely looking spot. We stopped the staff was extremely friendly. We got a classic burger and a classic burger with cheese. Also tried their sweet potato fries. The food here is really good read more

Food was decent, what you'd expect from a burger place. Had to wait awhile despite being the only people in the restaurant. My burger came with a side of fries after I said no to the waitress when ordering. I was charged for the fries and when I asked to have the charge removed, they refused. read more

The best burger spot in the area, maybe in the Dallas area. Think I'm exaggerating try it yourself & then get back to me. Order the Guacamole bacon burger NO bun, instead have it served on the large house salad. The kids say it's 'lit' I just say you can beat the taste, the price and adding a handmade chocolate shake makes it fabulous. The menu needs more exploration: fries, burgers, Pecan chicken salad, and much more. The server was friendly & attentive. She listened well to the order modifications and delivered perfectly. She checked back throughout the meal to be sure I didn't need anything more. The location makes you feel like a friend. Prompt, friendly greeting. Inviting you & your party to sit wherever you like. Try it, you'll be back. read more

The zucchini was cooked from fresh and it was thick sliced but cooked through well. The hot honey sauce was really nice. The season on the chicken was ok not very seasoned. The fries were also hand cut potatoes. I would go back. I've had the burger in the past and it was really good. I like the sweet potato fries better but that is just a personal preference. read more

Fab! Great hot food service is outstanding... super for date night fun or family gatherings . Seriously awesome staff !

My hungry belly was very happy with everything it was fed at The Burger Shop. The burger meat was a bit overcooked for my taste but had great flavor and fresh lettuce, tomato and onion too on the classichamburger. The chicken strips were good but way too much breading. The steak fries were amazing and the Buffalo blue burger was just as amazing. Brisket and steak tacos were very good as well. It is an interesting setup. A walk up counter to order to go and table service is offered as well but before you plan on eating in be warned that it was very cold outside on the day we went and almost as cold inside. I'm not sure if the heater wasn't working or what the issue was. Speaking of cold they also offer delicious shakes made with Blue Bell ice cream. My hungry belly and I will be back many times over. read more

We don't come here often but when we do it's always a good time. The food is always satisfying, we have usuals and sometimes we venture out so it's our spot to go when we're up for whatever. The same server who is always attentive and friendly, she definitely is a reason we come back. The vibes are mellow, good music and a chill atmosphere overall. We love it here! read more

Update: The GM reached out and was very nice, he offered to rectify the situation with a free burger (although I'll most likely end up ordering off DD like usual) I really do love this place and the food is always so good, I'm glad to know that they also take reviews seriously. *Original review* Usually this place is amazing and I order frequently. However today was really disappointing, my burger was raw on the inside. read more

Food was ok.... Burger wasn't as good as my previous visits. Fries were decent but over priced for the amount given. Customer service was terrible. I placed an order online and selected the option of ready in 15 minutes. I picked up other food in forney and got to Burger Shop 45minutes after placing an order. I go in to pickup up my food and the lady checks there to go order, notices my order is not ready and proceeds to take a phone order. After being on the phone for 5 minutes with a customer I interrupted her and asked for a status of my order; she says a few minutes. Another 10 minutes and I asked for update that's when she informed me they didn't start on my food until i arrived.... What the hell!! Right after another online order comes in for pick and she tells him the same thing...It will be ready in a few minutes smh. The biggest problem they have the audacity to charge a convenience fee. read more

I have been living in Forney for three years now. My family & I always pass the place on our way to beloved Dominoes. On Friday we craved burgers so gave this place a shot. Worst decision. This place is absolutely disgusting! The seating area has obviously NEVER been clean, and I couldn't even fathom the up keep of the kitchen. The burgers are huge in portion size but flavorless. The menu says burgers are made medium rare unless asked otherwise. Don't bother asking because you'll just get medium anyways. The cook has probably never chopped anything a day in their life because grilled onions come in varied sizes from long strands to thick pieces of onion you'd typically toss out. Fries are inconsistent sizes also. Overall just extremely hard to enjoy below average food in such a disgusting environment. I can only imagine how dirty the rag used to clean our table was. read more

Always a favorite of ours. The inside reminds me of an old diner, nothing really special. They do offer caramel churros for dine in, but it's not available on their online ordering system. The food is always warm and delicious. We ate the food too fast for pictures this time! We usually get the appetizer sampler, guacamole burger, bacon cheeseburger, and chili cheese fries. Shake is also very good as well. Great burger spot around this area read more

New to the area we ordered online delivery and were very happy... I enjoyed the vanilla milkshake SOOOOOOO much that I have ordered 2 more times, yet have never received a vanilla milkshake... once a chocolate and then a caramel milkshake... I honestly don't want to be disappointed again.... So I'll search for another milkshake place... read more

Great place great food reasonable prices. My grand children love it and we keep going back. Clearly their only challenge is keeping good help. Unfortunately you can feel it sometimes when you visit, but I feel it has good enough food to make navigating that worth it. Definitely give this place a try, it won't dissapoint. read more

We went here to try as our goal is to try something new around our area. We knew there was a burger shop near the Domino's that we tend to go to. The place inside is great and has a nice large TV that you can watch sports on. They have a nice big menu and this place is not only a burger place, but it is a bbq place as well. One the sign they sell milkshakes $2 dollars off during Monday-Friday from 2 to 4pm so a small will cost $3 while a large $4 and they make it out of blue bell ice cream. I ordered the guacamole bacon burger. I have tried many in the fast. Burger itself is $10 dollars. My wife got the Hawaiian burger combo which is bacon and pineapple which included a drink and fries. We ordered fried zucchini. Bill ended up being around $33 dollars which is quite high, but hopefully we got what we paid for. When we got home, the burgers were a real disappointment. We wanted medium on our burgers, but ended up being well done and too dry for our taste. The fries were way to salty and I usually do not complain about that part, but it was. The Hawaiian burger was just alright nothing to jump up and down. But we did live the fried zucchini, but definitely not worth it for $7 dollars. The good part was the place was clean, service was good and we got our meal really fast. I wish the other burger place did not close in that shopping center as I prefer that one. read more

The fried zucchini is really good. Place has a modern diner vibe. Really good local business.

The food is okay. The only burger place close by that sells turkey burgers. Service and ambiance is decent. The wings are also good.

After reading the reviews I decided to order take out for my family. Im very particular with the seasoning of my burger patty (cannot have that cow smell) I ordered 3 of the original cheeseburgers with fries and chicken wings (bbq & mango habanero) the burgers were undercook. It was raw as we asked for medium well. The wings were cold. And their fries is very salty! read more

Burger was obviously precooked and rewarmed, dry and lukewarm, fries were cold rewarmed soggy and over seasoned. Also, stay away from the "authentic tacos" they are basically cheesesteak meat with a tortilla, seasoned with lime. This place is garbage, you have been warned. Service was average, ambiance, is blah. read more

First time ever writing a review for any place ever. Drove back 3 times and my order was never right. I ordered just a plain and dry burger.
