    Shawarma sandwich

Have ordered multiple times from these guys. Shawarma sandwiches. All burned. A few times we let it go because they kept saying they will take care, but never did. Our last order was 12 sandwiches all burned. Tried to call multiple times and the people on the phone are completely unhelpful. They told me they can make ONE sandwich despite us ordering 12. Then offer to give one medium sandwich as a compensation. There's far better options in the area. Wouldn't really recommend The service is abysmal to say the least

A longstanding family-owned and operated Halal food eatery with a very big menu. Extra clean facility, even though it has a long time here. They serve Baba Ganoush, and many dishes you cab set the spice level. Expect good salads also, and very fresh. I was driving north, so I got a Chicken Shawarma dish atop basmati rice, with House Special Sauce. This was easy to eat from the sturdy container, and plenty of chicken breast slices, and light seasoning. I was going to save 1/2 for later, but at the rest stop, I could not stop sneaking bites, then it was gone. Digested easily. If you stay to eat, the dining area is not the biggest, but the cleanest. Next trip, I get Baba Ganoush, and lamb!

Found this place looking for a bite after an event nearby. Chicken shawarma bowl was flavorful and a huge portion, we also enjoyed the hummus, but the stars were the falafel bites and gyro!

I had a Greek salad with a side of beef and chicken shawarma. Everything was excellent--the food, the quick service, and the welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. Had to leave with a Baklawa

I really like this place. The food is always so tasty and the staff is pleasant. I recommend the Hummus dip, Baba Ghanoush, and the Kafta pita wrap is awesome. I am a happy repeat diner.

I wanted to really like this place, but I was admittedly a little disappointed. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and was a little bit surprised that it only came with chicken, rice and white sauce. I felt like it needed something fresh/lighter to balance out the meal. Although the rice was really good, there was wayyy too much white sauce for my liking. However paired with the hot sauce it helped a lot. Inside it is very modern and clean. Service is also great; you can tell it's a local/homey place. Maybe I ordered wrong though, I would probably get a shawarma wrap if I came back next time.

Very nice very clean very delicious and the service is phenomenal I do recommend this place.

This is the photo of me throwing up. Please be careful when you eat here.

I got a chicken Shawarma with the garlic sauce. I'm not sure what happened, but it made my stomach really upset and I had to throw up when I went to the doctor they said it was very unclean and too much citric acid added to the food so be careful when you're getting food.

The falafel wrap, YUMMMM! Its wrapped like a tight skinny long burrito and the falafel itself is flavorful and kinda mushy! I asked for garlic and white sauce on the side and the white sauce was a sweet surprise LITERALLY! NY gyro cart on the side of the street white sauce is NOT SWEET at all. This one was but it worked! The end.

Food was okay but nothing special, nothing I would particularly come back for. We got the spicy batata and this was the best thing we got, I think this itself would be 4 or 5 stars. It was well spiced and hot, crunchy on the outside and soft, and came with a side of sour cream. We also got the kafta bowl and chicken shawarma bowl, which were okay but not special. The white sauce on the chicken bowl tasted weird, and the kafta bowl came with tomato sauce that tasted like only tomato sauce, no other spices. The beef in the kafta bowl was pretty sweet and tender, but the rice in both bowls was just plain basmati rice with no onions or spice at all. I think with spices in the rice the kafta bowl could be a 4/5. Service was good, food came out fast and they bring it out to you. The interior is clean and simple, with some relaxing music in the back. TLDR; food is not special, it is okay but lacking in flavor. Probably not going to come back except for the potatoes which were really good.

    Falafel Bites and Hummus Dip
    Mrittika G.

The vibe inside was pretty chill and service was fast. The falafel was the best I've ever had and the hummus was so smooth and creamy. The pita was fresh, warm, and so soft. The gyro was pretty good but I would have liked it better if the meat wasn't in chunks.

Finally tried this place for the first time and it was good overall. Got a chicken wrap, a beef wrap, and chicken bowl. The chicken wrap was the best, the beef wrap was a little dry, meat wasn't the best. Great customer service and nice clean restaurant.

This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob ($26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice (similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes & purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many "generous" sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol. We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. Most of it was dry, tough, and under-rendered around the connective tissue.
