Delicious food and amazing servers. We shared a sampler appetizer plate and combo meat dish. Not one bad bite and plenty for 3 of us with food for another meal. Lovely food

This is one of my favorite places in Richardson to feast for lunch. The lunch buffet is such a great deal and price. Brought my friend he from out of the country and he was so amazed with the flavor and the amazing fresh pita and food. The service is buffet for lunch so very much self service but worth the low price. For $20 you can eat all the delicious kebab meat and wood-fire pita to your choosing. The fruit is freshly cut and well selected and the rice pudding reminds me of Teyta's. My father who is Egyptian loves this place and so does Guy Fieri. It's for a good reason. The ambiance is comfortable luxury. You're getting a great deal and the quality of the food is where your money is going. But the interior is still spacious and luxurious. Perfect for lunch break or a nice meal with the family.

We love Afrah for their consisetency, flavor and friendly service. Akkawi egg pie, chicken tawook wrap, Red Knafeh and the sampler are our favorite things to order.

Wow! Wow! Customer service was lovely, our server Nidia was so sweet and answered all my questions. Food 10/10. I love when a Mediterranean restaurant get the flavors right. The food was seasoned well, and had great flavors on the very first bite! I will be back.

My sister and I came to this establishment to try some authentic Mediterranean cuisine and we were NOT disappointed. The lunch buffet was phenomenal and as tasty as could be! The team was very pleasant and Chef Joseph was such a kind hearted gentleman. Frequently walking out to the food area to ensure cleanliness and also greet the customers. This was a great place to eat for my day in Texas!

Afrah is a staple halal restaurant that you take visitors when they come to Dallas, or if you are bored and want to go out once in a while. It is on the pricey side, but I get dishes seperately (rather than the family meal) and it is good enough price wise. We got different dishes to try. Lamb Kebab: it was a bit on the chewier side but I still enjoyed it. The flavor was nice, and I liked this best with the pita. Beef Kebab: this was my favorite. It's very soft, moist, tender, and flavorful. Perfect with anything Chicken Kebab: I am glad they don't overcook the chicken because this was very juicy and tender. The only thing is it tastes less flavorful compared to the other meats. Gyro: the gyro is just like normal gyro, perfect with the pita bread with the accompanied sauces. The appetizers were all nice, the only one I didn't enjoy was the cilantro salad. The service is very friendly and quick. Even on a busy Saturday night, the wait time is not that long. They do not take on the phone reservations. The ambiance of afrah is why people come back here often. If you want to smoke hookah, they have an outdoor location, but you need to be 21+. They also have desert options on the side where you can take them home.

So Skimpy today on the tabouleh when I ordered the delivery through Yelp. Also, you need to be more generous with the ice cream in the fruit cocktail...more ice cream layers not just at the top. It will taste better. That being said, I still consider this the best Mediterranean food in DFW, though.

What a fantastic dinner tonight with the extraordinary server, Abdulsattar! We enjoyed the hummus, pita and crunchy falafel! The grilled chicken was delicious and huge portion! Loved the feta on the salad and enjoyed the babbaganouj. (Sp?) Pita had a hint of cinnamon! Very unique! So glad you had Perrier and non alcoholic beer! Thank you for the gelato samples! I was sad that you didn't have chocolate mousse! I hear you've been out of it for awhile. :( Amazing espresso! Just wish you had stevia! I was so impressed with all the wait staff and staff cleaning the tables, booth seats and floor! Well managed and we will be back more often! Thank you

It was pretty good but it didn't blow anything out of the water just kind of average.

Very mediocre not great food. Overhyped. The beef kabob and lamb chomps were overcooked. Kabsa rice and pita bread were our favorites.

Steak kabobs are made with filet mignon cuts! The grill makes lots of specials like Lamb Loin and Wagyu beef. The deserts are made in house and they even make a baklava with cheese called warbat. Incredible Dallas gem so good I kinda don't even want to share.

This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob ($26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice (similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes & purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many "generous" sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol. We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. A FIVE STAR review for their authenticity, hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you're in the area you've got to try the Grilled Kabobs.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
