We contacted the nearest Fadi Mediterranean restaurant, and it indicated this location. We confirmed by calling beforehand, and they assured us it was part of the Fadi chain. Upon arrival, we were stunned to discover a completely different establishment. We entered to verify, and it was not Fadi's. Instead, it had a similar setup with minimal or no staff. We also learned they charge $25 per person, whereas Fadi's standard price is $15. Due to Thanksgiving, we had our guests with us and had no choice but to proceed. It became clear that we had been scammed. 1. Google had not been updated with the correct name or phone number. 2. The display food appeared impressive but was stale upon tasting. My best friend later fell ill. 3. Most troubling, payment was required upfront--if we sought a refund, they showed no intention of honoring it. We left very disappointed. We spoke to a woman who claimed to be the manager, but she said she couldn't do anything as the manager was out. We provided our contact information, but they never followed up. We advise everyone to conduct thorough due diligence before engaging in experiences like ours. This place deserves zero stars. Avoid this establishment at all costs. read more

When we showed the manager the online price, she was dismissive and said the online prices were wrong and they were "working on it". (I wish I had seen the previous reviews from months ago that also mentioned this.) There was no attempt to price-match or to offer any apologies for the misleading information. The food was bland and cold, and we merely took a bite of each item in hope of finding at least one thing we enjoyed, but were sorely disappointed. I wouldn't eat here if it were free. Different from the Irving Andalous, this one is a buffet. Yesterday was the last time that my wife and I will ever go to Andalous. Prior to going we checked their website and it said that on saturdays they charged $16.99. We were charged $23.99 a piece for our meal. I didn't realize the discrepancy until after we had started eating. Because my wife had paid, and when she was doing this I was in the restroom. When I realized that they charged more than what the website said, I asked the person at the register for a refund of the difference. (When I addressed this issue, the manager was rude, dismissive saying 'well those have been wrong and we just haven't changed it'.) Poor part on the business, false advertising. Andalous allows you to sample all the major recipes from an awesome and well-maintained buffet. The pita bread is baked onsite and always steaming fresh, the gyro meat is delicious, the multiple hummus flavors will fill your plate before you know what hit you, and the atmosphere is anything but basic. Went specifically to the Central Expressway location site and it showed a menu as options for ordering. When I arrived, was told that was only at their other location and I had to purchase a buffet dinner for $20. The restaurant itself was freezing cold, which led to our food getting cold immediately upon sitting down at our table. Many of the meat options were not fresh, including the chicken kebab, what they called beef kebab (really kafta), and the gyro meat was extremely thick and dry. The healthy salad options were limited, with lots of couscous, rice, pasta, and bread. The salads did not have many vegetables and were mostly lettuce. After 3 cups of hot tea, a plate and a half of cold food, and forced conversation, we ran out into the Texas heat to defrost. I was so cold. I drove home without any AC on in my car and was more than comfortable. False advertising on the website, as I had planned to get a few small items off the menu. The moment you open the door, the smell of fresh baked pita hits you. Start off with a tray, and you have the option of a couple of sides and a meat, complete with 2 pita bread. You can see the bread baking in an open oven!! The salad bar is amazing!! Greek salad, pasta salad, fattoush, 2 types of hummus, baba ghanoush, they have it all!! The side are just a fresh; potatoes, cauliflower, rice, veggies, they have it all. You could come in and have a purely veggies meal and have up to probably 40 different combinations. For the meats, they have baked chicken, grilled chicken, kabobs and my choice today; lamb shank!! It costs extra but it is worth it. My meal was fantastic. It wasn't cheap, but only because I had an extra side and lamb is "double meat". Fresh food for about $15, you can't beat it. read more

We saw this place was right next to our hotel, the Wingate and since I never been to a Mediterranean buffet before in my life decided to check this out. The food is quite filling as well as I unfortunately could not eat a whole lot of food unfortunately. Also, California no buffets since covid. The buffet price was $18.95 per person for dinner and this includes drink. The selection was awesome and enjoyed the Tahini sauce and some of the hummus.
