To start, i did not eat here. I came with a group of friends for a birthday get together. When you walk up to pay, i asked for a drink. The young woman said "it's a buffet" yes, but i just want a drink. She said i could have water. Seriously, there is no button on the register for just a drink? So i had water-glad not to give them my money at that point. My friends all enjoyed the food so if you like that type of fare, it was good according to them. read more

This Mediterranean buffet had a huge food selection, but the best part for me was the pita bread. Fresh, warm, soft and perfect for dipping. The garlic sauce was delicious, wealthy and flavorful. I appreciate their precise attention to cleanliness and considerate provision of gloves, preventing guests from handling serving utensils with bare hands. One small, mindful gesture is important. It makes a large difference. The food, service and buffet make it worth a visit. read more

We contacted the nearest Fadi Mediterranean restaurant, and it indicated this location. We confirmed by calling beforehand, and they assured us it was part of the Fadi chain. Upon arrival, we were stunned to discover a completely different establishment. We entered to verify, and it was not Fadi's. Instead, it had a similar setup with minimal or no staff. We also learned they charge $25 per person, whereas Fadi's standard price is $15. Due to Thanksgiving, we had our guests with us and had no choice but to proceed. It became clear that we had been scammed. 1. Google had not been updated with the correct name or phone number. 2. The display food appeared impressive but was stale upon tasting. My best friend later fell ill. 3. Most troubling, payment was required upfront--if we sought a refund, they showed no intention of honoring it. We left very disappointed. We spoke to a woman who claimed to be the manager, but she said she couldn't do anything as the manager was out. We provided our contact information, but they never followed up. We advise everyone to conduct thorough due diligence before engaging in experiences like ours. This place deserves zero stars. Avoid this establishment at all costs. read more

My husband and I used to stay at the Double tree about a mile away and we have always passed it. He is finishing up a pool in town and finally decided to stop. I can honestly say I'm mad at myself. I wish I would have stopped years ago. This place is absolutely delicious! They have a great selection of everything. The flavors are on point. They have so many humus, salads and meats to choose from. they have a small variety of dessert but they are taste to. the baklava was delicious as well as the brownies. Only thing I can complain is if you don't bring cash you can't tip. read more

This is a nice restaurant with fresh food, a clean environment, and beautiful interior decor. They offer most of the classic Mediterranean dishes, like hummus and kebabs, which were delicious and well-prepared. However, I felt the meat selection was a bit limited--they mainly had chicken, beef, and gyro. I was hoping to see more variety, such as lamb, salmon, or other seafood, which I typically expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. I'd consider revisiting for the lovely atmosphere, but probably not for the food alone. read more

Food was great, especially the pita bread came fresh out of the oven. Had a great variety of food. Service was good. It was good food all around. I'd give it an A+ visit if you can. read more

Came in for a birthday buffet with my family. The entire place is self service and you pay up front. The restaurant has ample seating and is definitely decently popular in the area. Different from the Irving Andalous, this one is a buffet. The food was great, I always love the different hummus flavors, tabbouleh and kidney bean/chickpea salads, and I obsess over the fresh pita and falafel. For $25 per head you have a lot of options and will definitely feel full. I love that they have vegetarian and non vegetarian items separated with plenty of options. read more

We had dinner at Andalous Mediterranean Buffet and really enjoyed it. The grilled chicken was tender and full of flavor the pasta salad was fresh and well-seasoned and the Greek salad had the perfect mix of crisp veggies and tangy dressing. There were so many great options to choose from and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and kept the buffet clean and well stocked. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming making it a great spot for a casual meal. We will definitely be back. read more

Simple process. Walk in, pay, and you're good to go. Nice not having to chase down someone for the bill. Anyways, grab a plate and go. Nice full selection at all times. When my friend and I arrived, the buffet line was full of people. Big group in the room on the side. I was pleased with how plentiful the staff kept the food at all times. All the food was very flavorful. From the salads and dips to the sides and meats. Some favorites were the Greek Salad, Spicy Hummus, and the Coriander Potatoes. Meat-wise, I loved the Beef & Chicken Kebab, Kebab Meatballs, and Gyro Meat. Everything was very good. Would definitely recommend! Go hungry! read more

We visited Andalous Buffet today for their Ramadan special menu, and I was honestly shocked by all the new items they added. The service was on point -- even with a full house, the team kept the buffet fresh and well‑stocked the entire time. I've tried a few nearby buffets, but nothing comes close to Andalous. read more

The food was nice, but could it have been better? Yes. The dishes were a bit bland, lacking salt, though the way they served the meals was good. Having coffee and tea options is definitely a plus. However, it often feels like they blast the AC to the max just to make you leave quickly read more

Arrived at 2:15 PM on a Wednesday for the buffet. The interior was inviting and the cool room was refreshing compared to the 100 degree outside. Service was good, with fast plate pickup. However, all of the meats and chicken were very dry, and the veggie dishes were mushy. Bread was missing from the buffet for the first 15 minutes. The salads I tried were the highlight - fresh and tasty. Overall, great service and ambiance, but the buffet quality could be improved. read more

Beware! False advertising of the buffet pricing. Very deceptive. The manager lacks customer service, and the food is terrible. The website advertises Buffet Pricing as $16.99 All day Sat and Sunday. We paid $51.94 for two buffets on a Sunday, versus the $34 (plus tax) we expected (see pics). When we showed the manager the online price, she was dismissive and said the online prices were wrong and they were "working on it". (I wish I had seen the previous reviews from months ago that also mentioned this.) There was no attempt to price-match or to offer any apologies for the misleading information. The food was bland and cold, and we merely took a bite of each item in hope of finding at least one thing we enjoyed, but were sorely disappointed. I wouldn't eat here if it were free. Save your time and money and go to Afrah or Dimassi's around the corner on Campbell and 75. read more

We ordered online for perhaps the fourth time. Until now, the food was quite good. However, we couldn't eat the food this time. The chicken kabob was too dry and the pita was hard as a rock. Hummus and dolmas were OK. Plus, the portion size was tiny. Since there are so many Middle eastern places in Richardson, we'll choose someplace else next time. read more

Yesterday was the last time that my wife and I will ever go to Andalous. Prior to going we checked their website and it said that on saturdays they charged $16.99. We were charged $23.99 a piece for our meal. I didn't realize the discrepancy until after we had started eating. Because my wife had paid, and when she was doing this I was in the restroom. When I realized that they charged more than what the website said, I asked the person at the register for a refund of the difference. She said that they were in the process of updating the website, and refused to refund us the difference. read more

This place is amazing. I love Mediterranean cuisine and sometimes the hardest part is deciding what to get. Andalous allows you to sample all the major recipes from an awesome and well-maintained buffet. The pita bread is baked onsite and always steaming fresh, the gyro meat is delicious, the multiple hummus flavors will fill your plate before you know what hit you, and the atmosphere is anything but basic. If it wasn't for BBQ, I might say this is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. read more

Went specifically to the Central Expressway location site and it showed a menu as options for ordering. When I arrived, was told that was only at their other location and I had to purchase a buffet dinner for $20. The restaurant itself was freezing cold, which led to our food getting cold immediately upon sitting down at our table. Many of the meat options were not fresh, including the chicken kebab, what they called beef kebab (really kafta), and the gyro meat was extremely thick and dry. The healthy salad options were limited, with lots of couscous, rice, pasta, and bread. The salads did not have many vegetables and were mostly lettuce. After 3 cups of hot tea, a plate and a half of cold food, and forced conversation, we ran out into the Texas heat to defrost. I was so cold. I drove home without any AC on in my car and was more than comfortable. False advertising on the website, as I had planned to get a few small items off the menu. They need to fix this and be upfront. read more

Food and atmosphere aren't the problem. It's the attitude and service that needs work. Nothing online for their event packages is accurate! (When I addressed this issue, the manager was rude, dismissive saying 'well those have been wrong and we just haven't changed it'.) Poor part on the business, false advertising. I had altercations with the manager even after because her attitude and service is disrespectful and frantically disgusting. During my event, she was rude to my family members and didn't provide any assistance. She got into with my husband and over charged him without me there. NONE OF THE FOOD I PAID FOR WAS PACKAGED TO GO. Yet, we were charged over 200$ more after reviewing what the cost should've been. Tried calling and of course no answer, couldn't even leave a voicemail. Will be trying to get in touch with the owner personally because this manager and service is what's ruining your businesses reputation. read more

Super easy to spot off the highway with convenient parking! I've had their catered food from the Arlington location before, so I knew it was going to be a great dinner! I went with a couple of my friends on a weekend evening, and I will say the selection of items is great! There are 4 different kinds of hummus, different salads, and a variety of meats and side dishes! My most favorite item is the garlic sauce!!! It goes well with everything, especially the chicken kabobs! I also enjoyed the tabbouleh, coriander potatoes, zucchini/mushrooms, and of course pita! Service was good, the staff cleared our table at a decent pace. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good quality buffet in a casual environment! :) read more

We saw this place was right next to our hotel, the Wingate and since I never been to a Mediterranean buffet before in my life decided to check this out. The food is quite filling as well as I unfortunately could not eat a whole lot of food unfortunately. Also, California no buffets since covid. The buffet price was $18.95 per person for dinner and this includes drink. The selection was awesome and enjoyed the Tahini sauce and some of the hummus. I decided to try everything and sample for the meat. Here is what I loved 1. Lamb 2. Falafel 3. Gyro meat 4. Chicken thigh 5. fried wish 6. Rice pudding Here is what I did not like 1. skewer meat - ground beef 2. Curry chicken, it was dry I wish though they would help clean up the dishes more from the tables more. The food is filling as well as I only had 2 and a half dishes. But food is fresh and could definitely come here again. read more

Outstanding!! The food is always delicioushigh quality and fresh. Definitely one of the best buffets I've ever been to.

If your rolling down MacArthur towards 114 in Irving you can drive into some amazing Mediterranean food at Andalous!! It is located in a strip mall right by a Juice spot and Indian chain store. The moment you open the door, the smell of fresh baked pita hits you. Start off with a tray, and you have the option of a couple of sides and a meat, complete with 2 pita bread. You can see the bread baking in an open oven!! The salad bar is amazing!! Greek salad, pasta salad, fattoush, 2 types of hummus, baba ghanoush, they have it all!! The side are just a fresh; potatoes, cauliflower, rice, veggies, they have it all. You could come in and have a purely veggies meal and have up to probably 40 different combinations. For the meats, they have baked chicken, grilled chicken, kabobs and my choice today; lamb shank!! It costs extra but it is worth it. My meal was fantastic. It wasn't cheap, but only because I had an extra side and lamb is "double meat". Fresh food for about $15, you can't beat it. read more

The term buffet here is misleading. You can pick and choose what you want but it's definitely not unlimited. And it's more of a this or that situation. Nonetheless the salad and meats were all delicious. Would have loved to grab more but you couldn't. read more

I went at 4 on a thursday. Picked up an order to go. I received very little food for 2 orders, about $18 a person for salad and a few pieces of chicken. Around $10 a pound. The humas had been sitting out and was not safe to eat. The flavors were good, the selection was ok, but not really something I would recommend.
