No surprise that parking is more challenging now since there are quite a few businesses, but not a lot of space to maneuver or park. In fact, I almost got in an accident coming here! The Madina Halal Grill has expanded from a small hole in the wall, to two holes. LOL! It looks like the took over the area next door and connected them with a small doorway. What is great about this is that the initial room is great for placing your order, looking at the menu, chatting with the staff, paying, and waiting around for your food to come out. The next room over is great for finding a seat, relaxing, and eating without being jostled by people coming and going. Food was pretty good. I forgot to specify the bread wrap, so my sandwich was more like panini than a shawarma. My husband was less than enthralled. He wasn't a fan of the lamb mix, but that is to be expected as he didn't grow up with it and hasn't learned to acquire a taste for it. Staff are really friendly here. Food comes out quickly and remains hot on the way home.

The beef shawarma was juicy and well-seasoned, and the lentil soup that comes at the start of the meal is one of the most comforting soups I've had. Don't leave without ordering the Lamb Kozi -- slow-cooked fall-off-the-bone lamb over Iraqi rice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different and genuinely delicious in DFW.

Apricot juice and the Gilgamesh juice were both pretty good and refreshing. Water is NOT free so be prepared. Service was good as well. What's keeping this from 4-5 stars is if the beef was fresher and had more flavor. Value was solid just wish the food tasted better.

The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. They have tasty rice pudding topped with pistachios and fresh fruit as something sweet to pair with your meal. I enjoy the lentil soup for dipping pita bread in. All you can eat buffets are always the best for getting to try everything and making everyone in your party happy. It's a bit on the expensive side (around $25 per person before tip), but it's totally worth it for special occasions.
