I get the cheeseburger with American, bacon, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños. It's so good! I like tater tots but fiancée likes fries. Cool interior and chill ambiance. The spicy ketchup on the table is also delicious. Overall, pricey burger, $35-45 for two people but five guys is more expensive and this burger wins. Try them out. Quality burger! read more

A great solid burger! And the tater tots are perfectly crispy. I took my order "to-go" and everything was still hot when I got home (transported in an insulated bag). To me, I remember the original location, located down on Maple Avenue (south of Love Field, near Parkland Hospital) as maybe tasting slightly better. Maybe because that location is in an old gas station. This north Dallas location, which is located at Preston Rd & Alexis Dr, is one block south of Belt Line Rd. This location has the same vibe as having trucker hats hanging on hooks from the ceiling. And it's bigger, which is great. It's a little tricky reaching the parking lot. If you come across Alexis, you are at the entrance to an apartment complex and there is a little traffic circle you'll have to partially go around to get to the restaurant parking lot. Its in a converted bank and has fresh clean interiors and spacious seating. We were on our way to an event in Dallas and had some time to spare. We wanted to try something different that we don't have near home, and we stumbled across Maple & Motor and boy was it a good choice. When you walk in, you order at the bar, and the menu is located right there to see. There is plenty of seating available with a large screen projector, hats, and a few other decorations on the walls. Nothing too fancy, but definitely not a dive. We all ordered cheeseburgers, cooked all the way with different sides. Every order came out correctly, which is a big deal for us. We also ordered fries and onion rings, which were enough to share between the three of us. Our meals were great, probably the best hamburgers we have had in a while. I can't post a review without mentioning their staff, the man at the counter was funny. He double checked our orders before going to the next person in our party. I had the standard burger with cheddar but I added grilled onions. I also ordered tater tots, a favorite childhood memory. The tots were great! They were crispy and actually, too many! I couldn't finish the basket. The burger was also quite good. The meat was cooked perfectly and it was very juicy. Perhaps a little too juicy. I had cut my burger in half so that I could pick it up easier. By the time I got to the second half, the bottom bun had disintegrated. A bun needs to hold the burger through every bite; this was the only disappointment. Service was good and fast. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. This place is a little pricey but i'd say it's honestly worth it. I actually came here based on a review from Guy Fieri way back in the day. Honestly one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had and I got takeout! Not to mention the food came out super quickly and fresh. The lady at the front counter was very helpful and nice. If you like jalapeños consider adding the grilled jalapeños. They were delicious. The service was great. I felt the table never had trash on it. Pretty horrible experience. I ordered a burger - due to food allergies I can't do most sauces. No big deal - no sauces advertised on their menu. Delivery arrived and the burger was just a greasy pile of mess, smothered in a sauce with extra toppings I didn't order. I hate wasting food, but this burger went straight into the trash. It's so important restaurant menus display all ingredients on their menus, include online menus. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, although the patty could have used some seasoning. My wife loved the yardbird and the ranch. The fries and onion rings were excellent and seasoned well. The onion ring batter was unlike any I've had. Very tasty. They have cans and four beers on tap. I had a Shiner on tap. It could have been colder. A lot more seating than the original location. Be sure to look up for the collection of caps hanging from the rafters and a couple of decorated Christmas trees hidden up there.
