Great spot for a quick sandwich's and sit down to enjoy lunch here . Cool old school designs and back in 60s and all . Staffs are friendly and fast . Pretty organized for a new place . Food is decent in all.

Wide variety of menu options beyond the hot dog or beef sandwich including chicken, burgers, salads Had the cake shake, very sweet and rich. You can taste the chocolate frosting and feel the crumb of the cake. Beef sandwich even when ordered dry is still very moist so dont think that no gravy means a dry sandwich. Good flavor

OK Portillo, you need to do better. I guess you save the burnt Polish sausage for the drive-through and I was the lucky winner. The drive-through attendance lack of acknowledgement was , NONE. No Hello, may I take your order or Thank you, she barely talked. This is the case each time I've gone through the drive thru. I think the trainer needs to come back and do a refresher quickly before this place shuts down.

    Chicago dog

I didn't go to the actual Portillo's restaurant. I am at FIFA fan fest and I went to their booth over here. So I went with the Chicago dog. It wasn't super expensive. I believe it was $14 which is still kind of high. However, I sat down at the table in the shade. I got my dog, took the first couple bites, and I couldn't get my teeth through the casing of it. Basically the bit of meat was sliding out of the case. I think having everything that is usually on a Chicago dog was good. However, having to have my teeth tear into the case of the hot dog was a little challenging, not quite what I expected. With this experience, I will probably not go there. Thankfully today, I didn't have to drive too far.

Really good 'sandwich' place. It is nicer and not quite as fast as fast food (and the food is better) but it is not over the top or fancy and you order at the counter or a kiosk. I had their number 1 which is a sliced beef Chicago style sandwich and it was really good. The people working there were also great. They were very friendly which was especially nice of them since they were busy. They are also known for their Chicago Style hot dogs which I will have to try next time.

If you are like me and love a great salad, continue reading. If you are not a fan of a great salad,…read morecontinue reading anyway; perhaps this review will convince you to checkout Snappy Salad. As many places do today, Snappy Salad uses a model where you can build your own salad. If that's too much work for you, they have some delicious menu salads which make the process a little easier. That said, you still must decide if you want a "half snap" or a "full snap" (think small salad or large salad). In the case of the 'build your own salad', both sizes are limited to a specific number of items (i.e. veggies, cheese, nuts, etc.). Also, protein (chicken, beef and seafood) is available for an extra charge. I tend to stick with their menu salads with my favorites being the "Grilled Avocado" and the " Texas Taco". My protein of choice for the "Grilled Avocado" tends to always be their mesquite grilled chicken meanwhile, the "Texas Taco" comes with a very tasty ground beef. As for this location, it continues to be my #1 stop for healthy nutrition, usually after finishing up a cycling class nearby. It is conveniently located as it is literally across the street from the cycling studio. That said, when I arrive, it is usually within 30 minutes of closing, but I cannot tell it by the staff. They are always energetic and greet me as if I am the first customer of the day. All the items are well stocked and very fresh. I place my order and within what seems like a few minutes (the grilled items - avocado, tomato and chicken are prepared when the order is placed) my salad is ready. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out this location. If this location is not convenient, find the nearest Snappy Salads and order the "Grilled Avocado Salad" or the "Texas Taco"; you can thank me later.

WHAT. IN. THE. WORLD. HAPPENED. TO. THIS. PLACE????????…read more I have been going to Snappy salads very regularly since they opened. Yesterday, I went to the park cities location, I typically go to Plano. They discontinued half my salad ingredients!! No more sunflower seeds so I asked what nuts they had I was told pecan or almond. Told her to add pecans but then they were caramelized pecans, not regular, which she did not specify. I got a salad with sesame ginger dressing. The sweetness was so off and ruined my entire salad. Very disappointing. I don't know if these vast changes are across the board with Snappy Salads. I will try the Plano location to make sure but I assure you I will no longer visit this particular location. If the other one is the same, they've lost a longtime customer that comes often. Bring back the old items! The new bowls are better though.

Rishi took our phone call and ensured that we had a table waiting for our group of three when we arrived. The restaurant was about 50% full when we got here. The menu was varied and ready to accommodate small groups or individuals as well as family style options for larger groups. It took around 15 to 20 minutes to get the appetizer. The staff was apologetic however little curious, considering the fact that the restaurant was not that busy. For an appetizer, we ordered the roasted cauliflower and the flaming Saganaki. Both of which were delicious. Then followed that with a Mediterranean salad (not realizing that our entrees came with salads, lol). And for our entrees: Mediterranean Moussaka, chicken kabob for the kiddo and the 24 hour braised lamb shank for me. Dessert was the Kunafa- a new flavor explosion like I had never experienced before. Now, the food was tasty, very tasty. However in speaking to Stan, the owner, they pride themselves on Himalayan hospitality. And while I've never been to the Himalayan mountains, nor Nepal, I now have this uncanny desire to visit that region if the service is even a fraction of what I have received tonight! From wonderful suggestions, to a small scoop of ice cream for my son, and several flavors that we were able to just sample and try based on his pure excitement about sharing the flavors. This was just a fantastic experience, all around. 10/10 would recommend 10/10 will be back.

Service: My friend and I sat at the bar area. The bar tenders were friendly, but the service was a bit slow. We waited about 10 mins to get our check after requesting it. Additionally, I ordered a refill of my drink, for the waters to be refilled during our stay, but neither came. Food: The food was good! I had the chicken kabob with grilled vegetables. The saffron rice didn't taste fluffy and fresh IMO.

The only reason I dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars is that even in 100 degree weather they keep a huge service window open so the bar is accessible both inside and outside. This practice is hugely irresponsible to the environment, to the Texas power grid and residents, and to those of us paying our bill here knowing we are footing that bill.
