Casual, clean and easy meal. Food comes out hot and good. Friendly staff. Fried fries is crispy. Overall, good quick place to grab lunch or dinner.

November 2025 3:00ish. This is pricey. $42 for two sandwiches ($15.99 and $16.99) , ONE order of fries ($6.25) and no drinks. Placed the order online, which was convenient. It took about 20 minutes. Sandwiches ordered: classic Philly (regular bun) and the Truffle Wiz (which was the most expensive sandwich they have) on seeded bun. The fries we decided to split, because at $6+ for one order, it would be ridiculous to get 2 and they not be good. During ordering, you have the option to add 2 sauces on the sandwiches. For my sandwich, the Truffle Wiz, it already came with a "cherry pepper mayo" so when I saw it as an option with a cost next to it (0.25 I think) I chose no sauces and put in the notes that I wanted the sandwich made as advertised. Why pay extra for a sauce that is supposed to come on the sandwich? So, these options are for extra sauces. I put in the notes to give us napkins and ketchup, but they did not. We were walking in as they had the sandwiches on the counter, so she put our order together right then, so that's probably why. The food STINKS. We had to lower the windows, and still smelled whiffs of it. It smelled like greens being cooked..... turned out to be truffle fries, which we did not pay for nor order. We ordered regular fries. Truffle was $8+. 2.5/5 is the rating for my friend for her classic Philly . She didn't like the bread, and she said there was more cheese than there was meat. She said there really wasn't any flavor, and she's had better. She won't return 3.5/5 for the Truffle Whiz. I'm a cheese person, but she's right. There is a lot of cheese. It's a wet Philly- I did not taste the fried onions, but I guess I was seeking texture, and they were probably there but soggy from all the cheese. Would try again if someone else paid, but I wouldn't come back and pay for this sandwich again. The incorrect order of truffle fries. Stinky, soggy, and just not good. 0/5. They have a Smashburger that I would like to try, but I'm in no rush to return. Decent parking. Pleasant staff. In door eating option is available. They didn't skimp on the meat, in my opinion. I'm full, but I've had better.

Ordered late night takeout here and thought it was great! I got a half steak classic. The whole sandwiches are quite expensive so I opted for a half thinking it was filling enough since they looked so big, but whole is probably the way to go. It's probably a bit better eaten right away but I still enjoyed it after sitting for a bit to drive home. The inside is clean and modern but very warm. It was empty when we got there so the food came out fairly quickly. They have great late night hours so I'll probably be back but for dine in this time. FYI- when you order online it looks like they have funnel cake fries which aren't on their regular menu that I'd love to try.

"G's Cheesesteaks: A Tale of Potential... and Pricing Surprises " As a Flavor Chaser Socialite , I approached G's Cheesesteaks with anticipation only to be met with somewhat conflicted signals. First, the price discrepancy: Menu lists $14.99, receipt rings $18. Asked the cashier... slight grin and "yeah, prices are different." Bold move. Then, the food: Chicken Bacon Ranch -- chicken lacked seasoning, ranch leaned fat-free, cheddar + provolone tried their best. Kid's cheesesteak -- requested sesame bun, got a slightly over-grilled regular bun with truffle mayo playing hero. Now for the accolades: Steak itself? Solid. Fries? Crispy perfection. Verdict: Plenty of potential, just needs attention to seasoning, sauces, and pricing transparency. I may return for the egg rolls purely for investigative purposes. #DallasEats #CheesesteakChronicles #FlavorChaserSocialite #RoomForImprovement

I was craving a cheesesteak and boy it did not disappoint. Not sure I can have another cheesesteak with a plain baguette, the sesame bread is amazing. The crunch and the nutty taste was a perfect mix. The cheesesteak was so good. I can't wait to have it again. We ordered for delivery, however I have driven by and seems to always be busy. A must try.

I found out that G's Cheesesteaks had made its way to Dallas (random, but welcome) on TikTok and had to check it out because if you live in Dallas, you know finding a real cheesesteak here is about as rare as a cool summer day. When we walked in, the place was pretty empty, but I liked the trendy vibe. Simple, no-frills, and it felt like the kind of spot where the food does the talking. The staff was friendly enough, and with only a couple people working, it stayed low-key. I ordered the classic on a seeded roll with wiz, and wow. This is it. No gimmicks, no "Texas twist," just an honest-to-goodness cheesesteak that nails the flavor. Close your eyes, take a bite, and you could convince yourself you're standing on a Philly street corner. I've had plenty in Philly itself, and G's is better than a few of those. Easily the second-best cheesesteak I've had outside Philly, which is saying something. Now for the nitpicks: the fries were aggressively fine. Like, they existed, they filled the basket, and that's about it. The drinks were comically tiny. Three sips and you're left wondering if you accidentally ordered the kids' size. And while the portion on the sandwich was solid, I wish the meat actually stayed in the roll instead of spilling everywhere. But the biggest eye-opener was the bill. Almost $50 for two sandwiches, fries, and drinks. For that price, the fries should've at least given me a high-five or come with a motivational speech. I don't mind paying extra for quality, but when the portion sizes, sides and drinks are that forgettable, the math doesn't quite add up to five stars. That said, the cheesesteak itself is 100% worth coming back for. My wife loved hers, I loved mine, and if you're in Dallas craving the real deal, this is the place to go. Just be ready to spend Philly stadium money without the souvenir cup. Solid 4 stars. Amazing cheesesteak, overpriced extras.

Truffle fries. Do NOT order. We sent back 1st order for too cold and soggy. 2nd order didn't improve. Also all broken fries.

I wanted to love this place so much that I chose it for my birthday lunch. Cheesesteaks are my jam, and this spot looked legit. The photos showed overflowing cheesy meat bombs on artisan seeded buns and crispy fries. I was psyched. We ordered (to split) the Cooper Sharp cheesesteak and added cherry peppers, which is a pro move, feel free to copy me on that!. We also got an order of truffle fries. The folks taking our order were very friendly and offered suggestions. We were the only ones there, yet it still took a while for the food to come out. The cheesesteak looked good when it arrived, already sliced in half for sharing, but it did not have as much meat as some of the Yelp photos. That said, it was still solid. The roll was the star--fresh, chewy, and delicious. There was plenty of cheese, and the cherry peppers added just the right amount of heat and tang. Now the fries... that's where things fell apart. The first batch was so soggy I honestly thought they made a mistake. They looked and ate almost wet , with zero crunch. I brought it up to the counter and they kindly offered to replace them, though they mentioned that is sort of just how they make them. Huh, intentionally soggy truffle fries? The second batch was only slightly better. Still not hot, and still pretty soggy, and mostly just small broken pieces. There was not one single fry over two inches long in our entire order. For a six or seven dollar side, that was a letdown. I was happy they never checked how we liked the 2nd batch , b/c I was at a loss on how to say they were also terrible. AND, for clarification (in my LIFE), I have probably only sent 3 things (ever) back to the kitchen. Honestly, they would be better off serving regular crispy fries and offering the truffle sauce on the side, which they already do. Just skip the truffle fries. Trust me.

The bread fell apart after picking up. Meat was over salted. Service was friendly. I don't see myself coming back.

Wiz. It tastes like it's from a can. Kinda like Rico's cheese sauce.

We just got back from Philly and have been wanting to try this place as it looks legit. Homemade breads and Cooper sharp cheese. Just like in Philly! We wanted to order our normal cheesesteak but figured we should try some stuff first before potentially ruining our sandwich. We got the basic cheesesteak with fried onions and copper sharp on a seeded roll. They were out of long hots and the wiz looked canned. We got the wiz on the side. I have to say, the bread was good and fresh, but you can tell it wasn't baked in a stream oven since it was so crisp in top. Hard to bite through which caused the filling to spill out with most bites. The flavor was 100% legit. Not as much filling as we were used to, but the profile was there. I'm glad we got the wiz on the side. It tasted like ricos cheese from a can. The good places in Philly make it from scratch. Thinking Angelo's when I say that. iykyn Prob most authentic in the Dallas area. If you haven't had a seeded bun with cooper sharp on a cheesesteak, you are missing out on something special.

Cool vibe inside. Order at the front and they bring your order to your table. This place was fire. I wish they had one closer to Fort Worth. The bread sets it apart from any other cheesesteak places in DFW. Truffle fries were soggy though. It's expensive but the portions are big. Highly recommend.

Ordered to go which was probably a mistake even though the drive was only 10 minutes. The bread was good but got really soggy. May have been better if I ate the sandwich there instead. Overall, it was okay but not great.

This place was GOOD. If you don't like a more chewy sesame roll - then it ain't for you. If you do like that high end, thick, sesame peppered bread?! Run to this place. It's all too common in LA but damn near impossible to find in Dallas. The cooks and cashier were super friendly. Also, some really fit, good looking white dude popped up to take our order out of nowhere. Glowing white teeth. Stood out like crazy from the some what gritty local environment. He took our order and then evaporated into thin air. Owner maybe? The teenage kid who replaced him was super chill though. Food was hot. Got the sharp cheese one. Freaking awesome. Will repeat.

Cooper Sharp Steak...look at that cheesy goodness!

Ok, so let's just say... my cheesesteak radar is always on! Growing up in the Tri-State area, I've had more cheesesteaks than I can count--and besides a perfect New York slice or amazing sushi, cheesesteaks are at the top of my favorite foods list. So anytime I move to a new city, the Cheesesteak Showdown begins, LOL. This stop? G's Cheesesteaks in Dallas. Located in a shopping plaza next to Pet Supplies Plus, G's is a "new-ish" addition to the neighborhood. The owner is from New York, which initially gave me pause because after all, the best Philly cheesesteaks are a Philly thing, right? But, I was super hungry and I finally made it in for a late lunch with my brother. First off, shoutout to James, who was friendly, helpful, and made us some tasty sandwiches. I explained my mission to find Dallas' best cheesesteak and grilled him (gently, of course...lol) about the bread. He told me it's shipped from NYC, but when I asked if it was Amoroso's (the gold standard for a true Philly cheesesteak), he wasn't familiar. No worries, we kept things moving! We ordered two Cooper Sharps and a Classic "to go" for my mom and here's the deal: the meat was juicy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bread--while not Amoroso's--was still pretty good. I won't lie...my inner cheesesteak purist is still chasing that perfect Philly Cheesesteak, but G's did a nice job. Bonus: They've got other menu goodies I'm eyeing for next time--cheesesteak egg rolls, truffle fries, and more. Pro Tips: -It's right next to Pet Supplies Plus, which is handy if you need to pick up dog treats while you wait for your cheesesteak LOL -Indoor seating; nothing fancy, but clean and good vibes -Go classic or build your own. The team is cool with customizing the sandwiches -Parking is easy...love that! I'll be back for more and until then...Happy Cheesesteaking!!

We ordered and waited in our car. They don't give you anything to alert us so we just kept going back in to check on the food. I'm not sure what I expected but I thought maybe there would be some tables or something? They didn't even have trash cans outside. The food was just ok. The cheese sauce was the best part. Super cheesy and ooey gooey. We didn't finish the sandwich as it was soggy (even though we ate it immediately) and lacking bulgogi flavor of any kind. The macaroni was decent enough. Based on the whole "food delivery pick up and not a restaurant" I would not be back. I mean...is this the future of eating out? I'm not impressed.
