Truly had the best time ! We went for a friend's birthday- there was like 13 ish of us and they were able to accommodate us easily. The restaurant is BYOB which is nice. The staff were all super friendly and the service was speedy. They do have $5 Valet out front which makes it easy to park. Food wise: the fresh pita bread is soo good!! I got the lamb kabobs and saffron rice and they were both so tasty. Overall loved the experience and definitely will be coming back !

I'm punching myself because I forgot the name of the lamb hummus but wow. That hummus hit my tongue and I was mesmerized. Some of the most delicious hummus I've ver tasted in my life. We had the same high hopes for the Kebob plate. But it was lacking something. It was good but just was missing something. I would come back and try the lamb next time.

Great food service and ambience. We started with 3 dips Izmir hummus, Eegra spicy eggplant and ziziki and they were served with fresh Pita. Ziziki was refreshing and hummus was fresh and creamy. I don't like eggplant but I can have eggplant in that dip form for sure and it was spicy and very flavorful. Then we order lamb roll, mom's saffron rice and the ground beef kabobs. Lamb roll was 4/5 and we had ground beef kabobs with some rice and dips and it was a great combo. Kabobs were well seasoned. Server recommended the Izmir special dessert and Turkish coffee. The dessert was not too sweet and the combination of baklava with cake, strawberries and ice cream was great.

What an amazing experience! Great food, well-prepared and seasoned, and the service was so wonderful! Went for our anniversary, got a nice, cozy, secluded table, and gifted us a bottle of wine as well.

Easy walk from daughter #2's apartment. Busy spot on a Saturday night. Snagged a high top at the bar. Cozy. Attentive, friendly staff. Ordered a bottle of wine and some tapas. Shared the saffron chicken kebab - epic. Everything is fresh and made to order. Any restaurant that has made it 30 years is a go to. We shall return.

When I say best meal in Dallas, I mean it. This is the FRESHEST and most flavorful meal I've had in years. We sat at a high top by the bar and could see the kitchen and the love they put into the food. Everything was amazing. We decided to get an app, three tapas, and spit an entree (there was 2 of us). It was perfect. The tapas portions were perfectly sized and the entree was the perfect size after some light bites. Moody lighting, not too loud, small restaurant so busy nights might have a wait. The server (Omar) was AMAZING, he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. It was an amazing experience. Omar let us know Tuesday nights is $5 Tapas & Fridays they have live music! Such a cute little spot and I will be back for more.

I arrived at the restaurant a little bit before 6:00pm on a Sunday. As I was waiting for a friend, I sat at the bar for a little while where I could chat with some of the staff. I liked the overall vibe of the restaurant. The music was in the GoldiLocks zone--not too loud and not too soft. I also liked the artwork on the wall. Upon being seated, my friend and I shared a few dishes. The first was a cheese plate appetizer. It was delicious especially the cranberry goat cheese--I cold only liken it to cranberry cheesecake. I ordered a lamb wrap and saffron chicken. The lamb wrap was okay--it came wrapped in a flour tortilla that appeared to have been store bought (maybe pita bread would have been a better wrap?). The chicken saffron was very tasty and was my favorite of the two main dishes. For desert, we shared baklava, which was quite good. The waiter told me that they make the baklava in house. Important note: my friend is a vegetarian and he loved the food. He found the restaurant to be very vegetarian friendly. The restaurant also had a valet service, which is reasonably priced.

Chicken Kabob, Lamb Roll, Baba Ghanoush, Russian Chicken Salad The chicken Kabob was excellent and super tender, juicy, and flavorful. Lamb roll was decent and simple. Baba ghanoush was standard and good. Russian Chicken Salad was just alright, was not the biggest fan.

Glad they did, so we could come here instead. When we got there it wasn't too busy, so we were able to get seated quickly. Out of all the dishes I truly enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the beet dish. Also you can't go wrong with the tomato bread. Lastly, get the sangria if you drink. Service was also great and they stopped by ever so often to check in on us. They also have the option to eat outside... Considering it was fairly cold we opted to eat inside. The only major con about this place is the parking. I know it's now their fault, but during peak hours it's very difficult to find street parking. I'm not sure if they have their own dedicate parking lot.

The state we received was also completely raw when we asked for it, medium rare. The ambience of this place is precious, but I can see it getting pretty packed on the weekends. Wanted to go here for over a year, and after my experience, I probably wouldn't go back again.

I asked for extra bread so I could taste more of the sauce after the vegetables were gone, ha! And by coincidence, the 3 vegetables tapas were what the waiter recommended. Food I tried Roasted cauliflower with green goddess - best sauce imo I couldn't get enough of how flavorful and buttery(?) it was. Really liked the texture contrast too, I'll get this again Asparagus with pistachio pesto - the in house made pesto fell off the asparagus easily and there was a bed of it underneath. I ended up putting them on the bread too, haha Chicken thigh with aji verde - this is a must get no matter what, incredibly fresh chicken I would have every day if I could. But alas, I don't live near here. Broccolini with lemon garlic - the orange sauce was also delicious but not as amazing as the others. I would still get this again though! Olive oil cake with sea salt - they flip the olive oil cake several times so the apricot syrup permeates. This time it was a little dry in some areas and too moist in some, so it was different than last time. But this is what you want to take your dining experience home with you Potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce - nice and crispy and the mayo has sherry vinaigrette during the emulsion process which was a nice kick

We were seated promptly, but there were no clean high chairs available, so we had to wait a few minutes while one was cleaned. That wasn't a big deal. After about 10 minutes, our server finally came over to take our drink and food order. From there, things went downhill. We waited around 30 minutes without our server checking on us once, while tables that were seated after us began receiving their food. After about 45 minutes, we decided to ask for our order to be packed to go. That's when we found out our original server had already left without handing our table off to another employee. Our order had been entered into the system but was never brought out, and no one noticed. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were several employees standing around at the front and only a couple of other tables in the restaurant. It was surprising that no one realized we'd been sitting there without food or service for so long. I was genuinely excited to try this highly rated restaurant, but instead I ended up wasting an hour and a half. No one attempted to make things right or offered any apology beyond explaining what happened. I would also encourage the staff to be mindful of communication when interacting with customers. If a customer asks a question, it's best to answer them directly in a language they understand. Speaking among yourselves in another language during a service issue can easily create the impression that you're talking about the customer, even if that's not the intent. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service because the food may be good, but the service needs significant attention

There was also a blueberry graham cracker cocktail (can't remember the name, unfortunately) that was surprisingly delicious and easily could've been dessert in a glass. The tasting itself was an 8-course menu and absolutely incredible. Since this was a one-night pop-up, I won't go into detail on the food, but every course was thoughtful, creative, and genuinely delicious. One of those meals where you're excited for the next plate the second the last one's cleared. Service really stood out. The team was attentive without hovering, cleaned up seamlessly between courses, and made sure our drinks were never empty. They also offered solid wine pairings that complemented the menu really well and elevated the experience overall. One extra thing that really sealed it for me: after dinner, the second chef Taylor and the owner/manager Tanner came over and hung out with us for a bit. As someone who's a bit of a foodie nerd, I genuinely appreciate when chefs and operators take the time to talk food, concepts, and the thought behind the menu. It made the experience feel personal and intentional, not just transactional. If this pop-up is any indication of what Rye is capable of, it's definitely a place worth returning to. My fiancée, on the other hand, IS restaurant literate. And she loved it here. While my reaction to the "Icelandic Hotdog" on the menu was to groan, she got excited at the prospect of a bitesized piece of foreign sausage. When my cocktail came out with an 8" inch ice rectangular prism in it, I was more excited about whipping it around the glass than I was about drinking it. My fiancée commented on the "notes of parsley." Regardless, Rye is great. Lower Greenville needed a fine dining experience that appeals to foodies and cocktail lovers, and Rye is that place. Great service and decor too, truly a well run restaurant.

I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long.
