This restaurant is located steps from the Renaissance hotel. You exit, turn left, and you are there. We had a reservation, which is recommended because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night in May. We opted to sit on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Glad I finally got to try the Spanish food here! The food here reminds me so much of Miami which I've missed. They have covered outdoor seating and it's dog friendly, so we were able to bring our dog (: They do have happy hour from 4-7 PM but just note happy hour is only if you sit at the bar. We ordered the beef paella and it was sooo good. Steak came out a perfect medium rare and the rice was super flavorful with a nice al dente bite. The ceviche was also really good! This is such a fun vibe at Legacy West and it's always packed. The food is outstanding.

Stopped by during happy hour (4-7 pm on weekdays) and had a great time. We sat on the pet-friendly patio, which made for a really nice atmosphere. The ceviche was incredible and reminded us of the amazing ceviche we had in Miami. We also ordered the steak paella , and the meat and rice were cooked perfectly and super juicy. I was able to order many of the same dishes I had in Spain, and they did an amazing job capturing those authentic flavors. My favorite dishes were the grilled octopus and the patatas bravas. The octopus was incredibly flavorful, and the mashed potatoes underneath paired with it perfectly. Patatas bravas is always a must for me - I love the aioli on top. The paella is a large portion, so I'd recommend ordering it if you're dining with a group. The ham croquettes were also delicious and crispy! The shrimp was good, but not a standout in my opinion. I especially enjoyed the sauces served with the calamari - they complemented the dish really well. The BEST Spanish food that I've had in Texas. I recently went to Spain and the tapas here were just as good! We made a dinner reservation and were promptly seated. The atmosphere is great and lively with a dressy casual vibe, perfect for date night! The patatas bravas and jamon serrano were delicious and filled with flavor. Amazing tapas! My boyfriend and I popped in for a last-minute date night, and even though the place was bustling, the service was on point. Drinks: I ordered the Lavender Margarita while he went for the Lemongrass Collins--both were delicious, refreshing, and a little stronger than they looked (not a bad thing!). Tapas highlights: The Huevos Bulla, ceviche de jalapeño, and montaditos were standouts--flavorful, well-balanced, and perfect for sharing. I particularly surprised about the montaditos. I don't usually like sweet beef, but the sauce or jelly worked really well! I tried the arroz caldoso. It came out piping hot and fresh, which I appreciated, though it was too salty for my taste. I brought the rest home, but fair warning--it doesn't reheat as well. We ordered the churros for dessert and they really hit the spot. Oh, My Stars! Where do I begin?!?!? This place was amazing. Out server, Jasmine, was welcoming, on point and gave us some recommendations on her favorites (we asked). This has a sheik feel with a casual vibe but make no mistake, the food is top notch. I have been to Spain and this fabulous little find brings those wonderful natural flavors to the great state of Texas. We stuck with drinks and the Tapas on this go around and it was more than enough for 2. If you want to share tapas only, you can order like we did and have enough for 4 people, to be honest. We started with the Spanish Torilla which was perfectly cooked with potatoes and onions and served on a wooden board. It just took me back to Madrid. We also had the shrimp in garlic sauce, the steak chimichurri, the the figs wrapped in bacon stuffed with manchego (you heard me right, stuffed with manchego), the croquettes made with a beautiful bechamel, and fried artichokes (these we our least favorite ad the only thing I wouldn't recommend b/c they were a bit soggy). So, I could go into each one of these but all I have to say is flavor-town! All of these dishes were made authentically and just as stunning as they were delicious. Because it was my friend's birthday, we did opt for two Bon Bon cafe's and the Churros with chocolate and caramel sauces on the side. Just amazing. To my surprise, there is a Bulla Gastrobar here in South Florida in downtown Miami. Having gone here for lunch several times now, it has become a regular spot for us. I used to live in Tampa, and missed the really great Cuban food from there. I'm not a fan of Mexican spicy food, so was craving Paella. They make an excellent chicken paella bowl here. My partner likes their Cuban sandwich, when it is on the menu. We have usually ended up with a good server, and love some of their desserts, as well. Today's Dulce Lèche (or something like that) is one of my favorite desserts ever. It is sort of a dense caramel cheese cake with their very special ice cream on top, with drizzles of caramel. Amazing! My only complaint had been that their iced tea glasses were relatively short by comparison to other eateries. But, our server has been good with refills, so that works out well. I drove 50 minutes today to meet a former colleague so we could catch up. Traffic getting thru Dallas on a Saturday morning - you can imagine. And parking at Legacy Shops wasn't easy. But when I walked in the door at 11am and the place wasn't packed yet, I was so happy. I needed some attention. And we both got it. The decor is so beautiful, I felt very comfortable in this place immediately. The bright colors, the atmosphere, the different seating styles; take your pick. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and showed to a table but of course I picked another one, which didn't bother her at all, thank you. Our server Amanda greeted us promptly and explained the menu and made everything sound so yummy! I can't speak for the level of service when they are busy, but Amanda checked us very often, kept the food coming and made sure that we were pleased with our selections. She spoke to us, didn't rush us. We choose many dishes! and the sangria was so good - I normally am not a fan of sangria, so I chose the white and was pleasantly surprised - try it, you'll love it! You MUST try the serrano ham croquettes - an explosion of flavor in your mouth! They look like hush puppies but when you bite into them, it is soft and flavorful omgee. I loved them best of all. By the time they brought out the brunch paella (it takes a while to make), we were full and I only ate a couple of bites. We asked for doggie bags for the paella and Amanda asked if we'd like the potatoes also. We said sure, why not. We did order dessert after a bit - flan for my friend and I wanted the creme brulee. I wasn't crazy about it being served cold, I've only had it hot. It just seemed off. The manager happened to be walking by and saw that I had pushed it to the middle of the table after only a couple of bites. She asked me if I didn't like it. I said, no I didn't. She offered me something else instead, she was very kind. I appreciated her attention. I hated to leave, I could have stayed there for hours but needed to get home. Later, when I opened my bag and took out the 2 little boxes, I found 2 boxes of potatoes, no paella at all. I assume my friend received the paella. I wanted to cry! Only two bites (and we had split the $100+ bill,ha)... so in future, check your boxes before you leave a restaurant. I will have to see how I can get a paella from them way down here in Mesquite. Ohhhhh this was a VIBE. First time visiting Bulla but boy have I had my eye on this place for a minute. We did a staycation in the area and made a reservation for a large party of nine here for the Friday after Christmas. The ambiance is lovely, great music in the background, and a delicious tapas menu. We had a little bit of everything: pintxos, jamón ibérico, chorizo, salmon, grilled steak, patatas bravas, pan con tomate, and a partridge in a pear tree. Lol. I had two Spanish margaritas which I devoured quickly. Others in the group loved the sangria, ceviche, canelloni, and pretty much everything else on the menu. The larger plates I'd probably hold off on next go around. The small plates are where it's at, hands down. I highly recommend trying this lovely place for a night out with a larger group. I would give this place 4 - 4.5 stars overall -- not everything hit the mark in terms of food but most items were delicious, the environment is super lively, and service was solid! My fiance and I had a reservation on a Friday evening and were seated a few minutes after we arrived at a high top table. Fancy but not pretentious. If you took a dart and ordered what you hit, you'd never ever land on anything you would regret. Trust me get a chefs board for the table 1st, the detemporada or seasonal menu is always interesting and changes. I love the grilled octopus salad and the grilled sweet potato for tapas but if I want something hearty, the truffle carbonara is impecable. Desserts hit on all levels and every one is a rich experience. I typically pair with a coffee but my faves are the torrija, a smooth creamy goat cheese ice cream with brioche and drizzled in honey. Simple flavorful ingredients make this pairing with their coffee perfection. This is a perfect spot for a date but also houses large groups well and the service and space holds large groups comfortably. read more

Only 4 tables with customers. A lot of waitress just standing around and talking, Take a while for our waitress to come and serve us water.
