    Overall im annoyed with my experience here. We were waiting 20 minutes for someone to come over after we were seated. We were told that the hostess didn't tell the server that we were seated there. Everything we ordered was extremely long wait. We ended up being there for 2 hours bc it was so slow. I feel like if you're going to be that slow you should give something complimentary. We started with drinks- glass of wine and a mocktail. They were fine. We shared the lamb skewers as an appetizer. The lamb was tasty but it was very small. For our main meal, my friend ordered the chilean sea bass and i got the scallop sliders. She enjoyed her sea bass. My sliders were not very good. The scallops weren't fresh. They smelled fishy. The crispy thin Potatoes served with it were delish. The dessert was the most exciting part of the meal. We kept seeing them walk by with these huge pieces of cake and knew we had to see the dessert menu. They ended up bringing out a tray with all 4 items. I still have no clue what dessert cost. We ended up with the key lime pie and chocolate mousse pie. Dessert was very good. I'm giving 3 stars bc the wait was terrible, my seafood was not fresh and everything was expensive. We ended up paying $150 for not a lot of food. The ambiance was great. We sat on the patio and the live music was great. This is not a spot i would go out of my way to return to.

    After enjoying dinner and shopping at Legacy West, our group popped into Tommy Bahama for drinks at the bar. Fantastic drinks, service, and appreciated them changing channels to the game we wanted. Great ambiance and beautiful decorated. Easy parking for free at Legacy West. Can't wait to return again for dinner soon!

    Foodie Alert!!! I had such a great experience at Tommy Bahama in Plano, TX. I walk past the restaurant all the time and finally decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did!! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I felt like I was on a resort! It was so peaceful and serene. For drinks, I tried the Mai Tai (For de Colo Exa Seco 4, Orgeat, Orange Curaçao, Lemon, Lime, Artopple, and a dark rum float). It was so refreshing, tropical, and smooth. For Apps I had the Goat Cheese Dip with Macadamia Nuts, Mango Salsa, Sweet Soy Glaze, and Sourdough Crostini. Creamy, tangy, and sweet in the best way--such a great starter! For my entree, I ordered the Creole Shrimp & Crab Pasta (Tagliatelle, Andouille Sausage, Lump Blue Crab, Broccoli, Campari Tomatoes, Cipollini Onions, Grana Padano, Cajun Cream, and Sourdough Crostini). I requested it without shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My friend ordered the Crème Brûlée, which was just okay compared to everything else, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall, this spot nails it with great food, amazing cocktails, and a relaxing island vibe. I'll definitely be back!

    Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The large open air patio instantly gives off an island vibe, making you feel like you've escaped for a bit. The staff was warm and welcoming, and service was quick and attentive. We tried the scallop sliders and ahi tuna tacos. The sliders came with crispy fries and coleslaw. It was light and tasty but overly salted. The tuna tacos were fresh, flavorful, and generously filled but not too heavy. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back.

    First I LOVE their patio. Another birthday lunch celebration. She had a salad, we shared the Aho tuna tacos which was insanely good. I had the bisque, which I did not love. It had a bitter taste at the end and I wasn't going to eat it, they gladly took it back and brought me coconut shrimp which were great. They brought my friend a birthday dessert which she chose to be the piña colada cake. Service was great. I had a Bailey's and coffee to start off the fall, I will be back.. the patio is everything

    Apologies to TB for the delayed review/you deserve so much better from me. First off, I am very happy we decided to give this location a shot here in Plano. We have dined at the Hawaii TBs but, first time on mainland and we weren't disappointed. Since we couldn't make it to Hawaii for my birthday this year-I decided why not escape to a place that reminds me of my favorite islands to celebrate? Away we went and boy was this one of the best birthday dinners of my life. We started off with Summer Specials like chilled watermelon, goat cheese, yogurt and honey fused together to make your taste buds dance and keep you refreshed on a hot day. We ordered lump crab cakes which were amazing and then had Kona coffee steak for meal, salmon topped with corn, bbq sauce, and roasted red pepper purée. We also enjoyed dumplings stuffed with corn, lobster, shimigi mushrooms in lemongrass miso broth-OMG this was epic and I ordered another! Our waiter-Scott was amazingly skilled at recommending all these delicious dishes that didn't disappoint. He was one of the best waiters I have had paying attention to detail, providing me great service and treating me special on my day. Overall, food, chefs, and the entire staff was kind and gave me a birthday card. I cannot wait to go back and I highly recommend Tommy Bahama for 5 star food and fun in a tropical, cool oasis. Thanks TB for a great birthday celebration dinner!!

    After shopping at Tommy Bahama next door we decided to grab a quick bite at their restaurant . It didn't disappoint ! The staff is all friendly and you can tell - love their jobs. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartenders craft everyone's drinks. We ordered a drink and 2 apps and they were all tasty. We tried the eggs rolls and the fish sliders. I tried the island sangria - it looked as good as it tasted! Upon paying we asked if they had a daily happy hour and were pleased to find out they do and it was going on while we were there. Discounted apps and drinks 2-5 EVERY DAY(see pic below) Love the island vibe and feeling like you are on a tropical vacation even if just for an hour or two once in a while! Add it to the love list

    Good food and good service in a great location at Legacy West Shops. We ordered a variety of cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. All were good. The standouts were the Mai Tais, coconut shrimp, and the sea bass. Our server was friendly but also seemed busy with other tables.

    Cool vibe but kinda overpriced. My bartender was great, but another kept singing along to the live music like they wanted attention. The Creole Shrimp & Crab Pasta was meh - shrimp overcooked, crab mushy, and all spice with no real flavor. Half empty in Legacy West on a Friday night should've been a clue.

    Had the pleasure of dining here today for lunch for the first time at the suggestion of Yelp! Walking in, the tropical ambiance wowed me and I immediately felt a vibrant and relaxed resort feel with an island vibe. We were immediately greeted by hostess Zoe and she checked us in for our 11:15 AM OpenTable Reservation; then offered us a choice between the patio or booth and seated us (we opted for a booth). Alex was our server - impeccable, knowledgeable, attentive and receptive to our needs as well as a great conversationalist. It was good vibes from start to finish and I loved his attitude, enthusiasm, and energy. He truly cared about us and that set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. My Mom and I were warmly welcomed like Family and truly enjoyed our meal. Bartender José handcrafted an amazing Dancing In The Dark Tequila-based Espresso Martini which accompanied our meal perfectly. Too often at other establishments, I order Espresso Martinis and it's too acidic, but this had the perfect balance of flavors. Well-executed and we will be back as semi-regulars for sure! 5/5 Hummus & Whipped Feta The contrast and depth of flavor was most noteworthy here. The olive-cucumber relish and honey figs with the flatbread for dipping made this a home run! We boxed up the remainder to enjoy tomorrow. I could make a meal out of this the next time. This starter alone is worth a return visit. 5/5 The Thai Shrimp and Scallops was the star of the show! The flavors melded together beautifully on the palate and the slightly tangy coconut curry invigorated the taste buds. The addition of asparagus and carrots complemented the entire dish very well. 5/5 Parmesan-Crusted Sanibel Chicken My Mom was raving about this dish, so you know I just had to sneak a piece off her plate. She and I agree that it was flavorful, tender, succulent, and remained hot throughout the meal. The almond rice and Yukon gold mash were the ideal accompaniments. She mentioned that she would get this again on our next visit. All dishes excellent in terms of presentation and taste. Portions ideal. Prices are in line with where we feel confident and comfortable without compromising on quality and taste. We have added this restaurant to our list of rotations and will be frequent patrons. My Mom and I have already made a Reservation for Brunch and will be returning here for my 41st birthday celebration in December.

    There were 6 of us women who enjoyed a Friday night dinner. There was a 2 man band playing which was a nice addition. The weather was perfect. We all had the blood orange margarita. It was decent but not to die for. The food and our server were excellent. Fun place and good atmosphere. If you are in this really cute area...stop for a bite.

    Yes, you are correct - they do not offer extra tables for walk in customers. But the bar offers open seating if there are just two in the party.

Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Overall, we had a great meal and will undoubtedly return here again.
