Jake's Milk Punch
Marian G.

My friends and I came here for happy hour. Daily HH from 4-7p. It's a cute, cozy speakeasy located inside Sea Breeze Fish Market. It's directly on the right when you walk in. Also need a password to enter! They have some comfy lounge couches in the back. That's where we decided to sit. We all started off with cocktails, I had the Paloma and Jake's Milk Punch. Which the Milk punch caught me off guard, it's a pina colada with a twist. We all said the cocktails were really good! And ended it with the Freddy snacks, which are shots. The bartender did an amazing job on the drinks! Our host was John who always checked on us, and told us all the details about the food. As far as food we ordered Wagyu smash burger sliders, Asian sticky ribs, and Shrimp scampi. Everything was so good! It makes us all want to try Sea Breeze restaurant which it's inside of. I want to try their other menu items even more now. We will definitely be back!

Definitely recommend giving this a try. And if you happen to have Emem there, your cocktails will be perfect! I tried the sliders as well as the meatballs. The Manhattan was perfection. I even tried the Aviator. Springtime in a cup. It was cozy and quiet, everyone was very lively and friendly. Looking forward to going back agaDefinitely recommend giving this a try. One of the best speakeasy around Plano/Frisco area. Friendly crowd, servers and bartenders. I have to say one of the best Old Fashions I have had in a while ( enjoyed 2) We shared several of the menu items ( pics included ) all fresh, flavorful and spiced just right. I will be back!

We went for the drinks and ordered fries. Amazing great atmosphere and date night was perfect. We felt good had a good vibe and even though we came in close to closing they treated us no different.

First off the speakeasy concept is genius! The vibe is so chill. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Even tho we were visiting from out of town they made us feel like regulars. Awesome drink menu, loved my old fashioned.

Excellent - ambience, services, food (lobster fried rice out of this world). Any time they are open is a good time, may you be alone, date, group of friends. Don't even think about it, just get here :)

Excellent service, perfectly dim lights for enjoying your company and the slider was delicious!

Went here for happy hour. The food was tasty and the drinks were well priced. Think $10 for an old fashioned is not bad. This is part of the Sea breeze restaurant. The Sea Breeze has better seafood choices and better prices on their drinks for happy hour but you don't get to sit in the cool lounge. Ordered some lobster fried rice which was really good l, bar snacks which were extremely salty but still addictive, and some smoked salmon spread with a beet spread. The service was attentive and friendly. I love it when people are enjoying what they do.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

It has the same laid-back Texas beer garden feel, but on an even larger scale. The first thing that stood out was just how massive this place is. There are numerous seating options throughout the property, but the real attraction is the enormous outdoor patio. It feels like it goes on forever, with twinkle lights strung through the trees, a spacious courtyard, and elevated deck areas that create a unique and inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend an entire afternoon or evening. The food is solid across the board. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and consistently good. The cheese fries are a must-order item and easily one of the best things on the menu. The portion is huge, more than enough to share with several people, and the ranch dressing is outstanding. On my most recent visit, I also tried the steak quesadillas, and they were excellent, definitely something I'd order again. The beer selection is another highlight. I was especially happy to find Live Oak Hefeweizen on tap, which happens to be my favorite Hefeweizen. Service has generally been friendly and attentive. When the restaurant gets extremely busy, things can slow down a bit, but that's to be expected at a place this popular. Overall, Katy Trail Ice House Plano delivers exactly what it's supposed to: great food, cold beer, a lively atmosphere, and one of the most impressive patios in North Texas. Whether you're meeting friends, bringing the family, or looking for a great place to watch the game, this spot is well worth a visit.

Our server was great (I wish I would have gotten her name). She was so on top of things! She was incredibly kind to our pup that we brought, too. The food was great (highly recommend the chili), and the prices are super fair. We had a large party, and everything came out great for everyone. The server was so on top of things that she knew what we needed before we even asked for it. Our drinks stayed filled, and she made sure everyone had to go boxes for the cakes we brought. I've never had a bad experience here! The expanded outdoor area is really nice, too. Highly recommend!

The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

I asked for a chair to be put on the side of the table even if it was tight. It took me asking 3 times. Not sure what the host didn't understand the first time as he just stood at the podium doing nothing. Secondly, this is a speak easy. The door to the entrance should have been closed and opened upon phone call entry. It's what makes the presentation. It was wide open, so no point in the phone booth. Again, an issue with the host bar. Other than that, our server was a beautiful long haired/blue eye girl who was so attentive. She made some recommendations I appreciated. The food was amazing! We all shared the portobello tacos, steak frites with sweet potato truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, Asian tuna salad, and ended with the Kahlua cake. It was all fabulous. And whomever they had as entertainment on 2/21 was incredible. Great voice. Ambiance is why I've come in the past and why I'll come again. I just hope this situation with reservations won't happen again, otherwise that will be my last time. At this age we come to enjoy a place not get squashed like sardines.
