My friends and I came here for happy hour. Daily HH from 4-7p. It's a cute, cozy speakeasy located inside Sea Breeze Fish Market. It's directly on the right when you walk in. Also need a password to enter! They have some comfy lounge couches in the back. That's where we decided to sit. We all started off with cocktails, I had the Paloma and Jake's Milk Punch. Which the Milk punch caught me off guard, it's a pina colada with a twist. We all said the cocktails were really good! And ended it with the Freddy snacks, which are shots. The bartender did an amazing job on the drinks! Our host was John who always checked on us, and told us all the details about the food. As far as food we ordered Wagyu smash burger sliders, Asian sticky ribs, and Shrimp scampi. Everything was so good! It makes us all want to try Sea Breeze restaurant which it's inside of. Very cozy speakeasy tucked in plano suburbs. Love the decor and they also play really good music. The drinks here are pretty solid though they are on the sweeter side. Make sure take advantage of their daily happy hour deals that last until 7! If you come in during their martini thursday i'd highly recommend the espresso martini. One of the best speakeasy around Plano/Frisco area. Friendly crowd, servers and bartenders. I have to say one of the best Old Fashions I have had in a while ( enjoyed 2) We shared several of the menu items ( pics included ) all fresh, flavorful and spiced just right. I will be back! read more

The Wilfred is an awesome little, local night spot .. great happy hour menu. Cocktails are done right, wine & beer options are excellent. Small plates are delicious .. sticky ribs, meatballs, sliders .. all fabulous. Regular prices are not cheap, but the quality is there. Interesting format of "Speak Easy" secret code to get it, and stealth door to exit. Staff is friendly and attentive. Pretty small place, but never had any issue with getting a place to sit. Went here for happy hour. The food was tasty and the drinks were well priced. Think $10 for an old fashioned is not bad. This is part of the Sea breeze restaurant. The Sea Breeze has better seafood choices and better prices on their drinks for happy hour but you don't get to sit in the cool lounge. Ordered some lobster fried rice which was really good l, bar snacks which were extremely salty but still addictive, and some smoked salmon spread with a beet spread. The service was attentive and friendly. I love it when people are enjoying what they do. read more

Update: I just noticed someone named Jake (Thank you) messaged me after my review to say that I was too lazy to research on the place. Kind of weird that they created (after my review), a new Yelp account (no reviews/activities) to message me. For clarification, I knew there was no phone to this business. Previously, I called Sea Breeze and a nice lady instructed me to come that Saturday (which turned out to be a private event). I also researched and looked at Instagram beforehand and there was no event mentioned, but I believe the private event was announced after that. Just clearing this. I was going to email Sea Breeze recently for a party event, but noticed the same name (from the private message) was mentioned in their site on a few posts. Very strange. Anyway, I DID try this place and it was nice. I made sure this person that messaged me was not in the establishment and they said he was not there that night. I enjoyed the food and drinks. A speakeasy in Plano that really did feel like a speakeasy. You go into a seafood restaurant and that's where you can find the door to the bar and voila you are in cocktail land ! The bar is spacious for a speakeasy and even though I wouldn't say they are a huge establishment, I still felt that the seating wasn't cramped and there was enough space between tables. We grabbed the bar seats and ordered our drinks. The music was good and the people around us seemed to be all having a good time . The bartenders explained when I had questions about a particular cocktail and made me pick one that was more suitable to my preferences. The drinks were great tasting and innovative. we ended up staying for another round even though we initially came In just hoping to get one . The kitchen unfortunately was closed so we didn't get any food . The staff was friendly and kept us engaged in a nice conversation. It's wild that this super cool bar is tucked away in a seafood restaurant in Plano. It's tiny & you'll probably need to wait for a seat, but the drinks are worth it. Our night went from stopping in for one drink to three drinks each. The selection is great & there's not any typical trash well liquors to be seen. The service is very good & the drinks are perfectly mixed. The only knock we have is that some food that we wanted was sold out. That's a bummer, especially since we stopped in around 7:30 PM. It's also quite loud due to some seriously high ceilings. Other than the last few small beefs, we will definitely be stopping in again. read more

Decor is well done, making it feel like a cool place to be at. The only thing I'd change would be dimming the lights a little, I think darkening the room would improve the atmosphere. read more

This place has kind of cool vibe but the service is terrible. They tried to over charge us for drinks we didn't get. When I called them out they were mad at me. It took 2 different conversations to get the check right. When they called the manager over he was just as big of a jerk. I think he forgot that he's in the customer service industry. Speakeasy tour continues around the DFW metroplex. My group ordered the wagyu smashburger sliders and lobster fried rice for food and I had a margarita. The lobster fried rice was delicious. The meat was soft and melted in my mouth. Note that the portion is big enough for one person. I tried one of the sliders and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. My margarita was good too. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or a catchup with friends. Each table has their own lamp, and the lights are dim. The music was perfect and matched the aesthetics perfectly. What an amazing speakeasy in Plano!! Very convenient location on Preston. You can find the code on their IG account. Super cool next to Seabreeze. It was super busy on Saturday night. We popped in for a drink to check it out. The ambience was super cool, with the different seating areas. My husband and I always sit at the bar. Luckily, two seats opened at the end of the bar, because every seat was taken! The bartenders were amazing, working hard, keeping up with all the drink orders. They have a cool specialty drink menu. I tried the Pinkies Up with vodka, and it was delicious! My husband had Basil Hayden Dark Rye on a rock. All the bartenders and servers did a great job! Shout out to Diann, Mia, Courtney, John, and Emem for their great service! They have a food menu, but the kitchen had closed already, after we arrived. Will check it out next time!! TERRIBLE service. The service was so slow, no smiles or thank yous at all. I wanted to get up and leave it was so poor. It was like we were an inconvenience to the waitress. My drink came with a strawberry covered in white mold. Super overpriced for service provided and quality of product. Also smells of fish since it backs up to kitchen/fish restaurant.
