The food was very good and the server was nice, nice looking environment the wait was pretty lengthy considering there was only two people being served, and I had to get my dessert to go so I wouldn't miss my shuttle when I had given myself an hour to eat.

I came here last night for a late snack with some friends. Been here several times, it's a good lounge to hang out in and I must say, they make excellent Old Fashioneds. This is a fun place and had live music going on when we arrived. It's inside the Renaissance hotel and not very visible from the street. The place has dim lighting and comfortable seating. Several TVs and interesting, yet eye pleasing decor. I ordered the meatballs and a beef yakitori dish. Very tasty and came out quickly. Our server was Liz, she was excellent, very attentive and quick. Always with a smile and very polite. our drinks and food were handled very well. There was another lady as well, not so nice, but Liz more than made up for that. I recommend this place and will of course be back. Did I mention they make excellent Old Fashioneds?

The punch ! I forgot to get a pic of the punch bowl!

What a fabulous bar in a fantastic hotel. I was able to attend the weekday Punch Ceremony which is so fun. The Bartender concocts a fun complimentary punch which is served promptly at 6pm and they bring out a gong (which I got to ring, by the way, I was feeling FANCY. Bartenders & staff were all very friendly & helpful during my stay. I had no problems with the staff at all, contrary to the other reviews. Loved the ambiance of the bar overall. The weather was bad so I wasn't able to go out on the patio right off the bar but it looks like it would be amazing in great weather.

I have to say, that this bar received a higher rating because of the bartender, Amanda. She was fantastic. As a recent trained sommelier, she was knowledgeable and willing to go through a few different wine options for me to try. I ended up going for an Orin swift wine that was part of the "premium" selection. The con, I didn't realize you only get a 5oz pour instead of 6oz - I wish I would have known that. I ordered the Caesar salad with the grilled shrimp (Amanda recommended me going with the shrimp as my added protein), and wow the shrimp were amazing. The con of the salad was they gave it to you in-chopped. So with extra effort I had to sit and cut the large pieces of lettuce so I could consume my salad, which I was not happy about. I also ordered the chocolate mousse cake for dessert which I was very disappointed in. Amanda suggested I try the pies instead, but craving chocolate I opted for the cake. I should have listened to Amanda! The cake was not very moist and was just bland. Not what I was looking for. The bar ambience was great and inviting. Definitely a good spot to come to and unwind after a long day.

The servers were more intent on keeping each other company vs doing their job. Impressive ambiance, great happy hour but will not be coming back. Only a few people in the bar with an abundance of servers and still no service.

New area and swanky outdoor mall, trendy with suits filling up the space at HH . Nice decor and good drinks. Worth a visit to check it out.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
