Tons and tons of records, record players, and concert posters from the 1970s lined the entrance hallway leading to the spacious bar and dining area. The bar service was attentive and efficient. Friendly and professional. We started with the Crab Rangoon dip. This was delicious, and it made you work for it. Be careful scooping it up initially with the wonton chips - it is hot and runny, but so worth the effort. For our main, we spilt half a fried chicken. We don't even eat fried chicken, but damn, this was a revelation. Every bite was hot, crispy, and juicy. The skin was perfectly done - crunchy and not greasy at all. For my death row meal, I say I would always request one of my mom's recipes, but this fried chicken made me seriously reconsider. It's that good. This time we had the drinks and desserts and they were delicious. For dessert, we got the baked apple pie cinnamon roll and butterfinger icebox pie. 10/10, no notes! My friend and I dined on a busy Saturday afternoon. I made reservations and we were quickly seated on their patio. I ordered their pizza with pepperoni, italian sausage, smoked ham, roma tomatoes, with extra marinara. The pizza came out steaming hot, and I was surprised how large it was! The toppings and sauce were very flavorful. I wish they would have done more with the crust as it was bland. Also, they forgot to add my extra sauce, so I had to dip my pizza in sauce on the side. I had not heard of Seager & Sons and did not know what to expect. The vibe is "vinyl" with an ode to all music. I enjoyed the posters of music legends. The dinner was a big surprise. The place was packed and busy but you could still have a conversation without screaming to be heard. The Calabrian chili sauce that came with the fritters was actually really spicy lol, so watch out!! For our entrees, we did the half bird and the burger with shells and cheese casserole and the Jojo potato wedges for our sides. Everything was so good and you can tell they used high-quality ingredients!! The fried chicken was juicy and packed with flavor and the green sauce really pushed everything over the top!! It lowkey reminds me of the Skhug sauce at Cava (which is my absolute FAVORITE), so that was definitely a win! We also got a few cocktails. This a beautiful well decorated bar. We got there one hour before closing and the bartender was very attentive and gave us the menu and time to think about our drinks. I ordered the painkiller and my friend had the rocket man martini both delicious and perfectly crafted to perfection. They also have an area with an amazing array of vinyl records. Friendly, attentive servers working in teams to bring out the cocktails and food fast. Their cocktails were also good- Foxy Lady and the Hotel California Spicy Margarita were refreshing and on point. We would order them again. We ordered their fried cheese appetizer, famous whole fried chicken, side of seasonal veggies- roasted kale and butternut squash--and roasted potato wedges and also their Jimmy- roasted sammie sandwich with a side of chips. We arrived on a Saturday night around 6 PM and were told there would be an hour and 15-minute wait, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in just 40 minutes. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire experience. We were very hungry, so we started with the crab Rangoon--absolutely delicious! I loved the light, puffy fried chips that came with it. For our main course, we shared the whole fried chicken with broccolini. The broccolini was nicely seasoned--crispier than I usually prefer, but still very tasty. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and it came with two amazing dipping sauces: one was a sweet and spicy sauce, and the other was a vibrant green sauce I couldn't quite identify--but it was so good! I also had a lavender cocktail, which was light, refreshing, and not too sweet--just perfect. The venue is huge, with plenty of seating inside, at the bar, and even outside. This was our second visit, with out of town friends and we went back because the first time we went everything was so amazing. On that fist visit our server was prompt, talked about the food with passion, offered suggestions and we felt from beginning to end that he was on top of our every need in a timely fashion without being disruptive and with the greatest attitude. This second time the restaurant was 1/3 full and it was the complete opposite, we were seated and it took about 25 minutes for our server to come, didn't offer suggestions in anything and wouldn't let us get a word in, so he came said his name and immediately offered water for everyone and left. He was tending a huge party in the patio and time went bye with our table with water only, finally he came back and we put out order for drinks and he delivered them one by one, barely placing them on the table and immediately turning around without a second for us to get a word in -or put our food order in. After a while, I got up and went to find the manager, only because we had out of town guests and felt so terrible at how the evening was unfolding. Manager came by, apologized, refilled our drinks (we were already 30 min mark) and we placed our order. Server came by and apologized, which was appreciated but he still didn't check on us until we were done with our meal. Food came by and our order was wrong, we ordered 2 items and a half bird and a plate of a full bird was brought. At that point, we were just defeated to say anything anymore. The food was incredible and we loved it, the vegetarian options for our guests were plenty and delicious, but this experience was the complete opposite of our first one. Service is so important, the first server was stellar and made the experience so special, exciting and memorable that this was the first place we thought about when we wanted to impress guests and brought them here just to be incredibly disappointed. I know it was probably an off day and we would still try them again, because the food and ambiance, we hope the service can be leveled to the high standards of that incredible first server. I was hoping it would come in a bucket, but it didn't. This was the best damn fried chicken I've ever had. (I am a big fan of Babe's.) It comes with 2 sauces - a spicy honey (that brought the heat) and green sauce (a pesto based cream). No real need for the sauces. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. We brought home a few pieces. Serving was huge. We also ordered a small Caesar Salad which was very good. (Small complaint - I found an entire base of the romaine lettuce stock in my salad. Which should have been tossed.) Mac and cheese was very creamy, not too cheesy. Big shells. The kids loved it. My daughter ordered the chicken and pickle pizza.
