One wish due to the pizza being so good are more wines that compliment pizza like a bubbly rosé or Lambrusco. I've been to Seager & Sons during several occasions with a variety of people and have had a great experience each time. First of all, the decor is fun and well balanced both inside and outside. The lighting inside is on the moodier side, but besides making it hard to photograph the food it isn't much of an issue. If you have any eye problems it could cause you to have to strain to read the menu though. Their music choices are always fun and never played loudly so you can still hold a conversation comfortably. The staff has been very nice and helpful every time. On this occasion we opted to sit at the bar since we didn't have a reservation (highly encourage you get one ahead of time) and even though the bar staff was super busy they still were able to check on us an appropriate amount imo. Now, the serving of their salads is insane. I'm not complaining at all. This was my first time getting one (the Brussel sprout chop) so I was surprised when they set the plate in front of me lol I couldn't even dream of finishing my plate and took half of it home. It had great flavors and the combo of ingredients was fun. My friend got the Ceasar salad and it was also huge so she had to take a lot of it home as well. She really enjoyed it. They are known for their pizza and fried chicken, but their chopped brussels salad was incredible and could be shared with multiple people. I sat at the bar waiting for our table, and it was crazy how many massive plates of fried chicken and pizza pans were rolling out of the kitchen. I had an end seat and closeup view to the kitchen. It was incredible. Their bar also has 4 different types of Pappy for those fancy bourbon drinkers. If you like spicy food, order the Cacio E Pepe Fritters appetizer. You receive 4 large fried balls made with with parmesan reggiano, black pepper, and other items on top of a panko calabrian chile sauce. A fun app for 2-4 people. I think this place is great for appetizers and drinks, but I was not a big fan of their entrees. We absolutely loved their fancy potato skins and the skewers - they are delicious ! Friendly and professional. We started with the Crab Rangoon dip. This was delicious, and it made you work for it. Be careful scooping it up initially with the wonton chips - it is hot and runny, but so worth the effort. For our main, we spilt half a fried chicken. We don't even eat fried chicken, but damn, this was a revelation. Every bite was hot, crispy, and juicy. The skin was perfectly done - crunchy and not greasy at all. For my death row meal, I say I would always request one of my mom's recipes, but this fried chicken made me seriously reconsider. It's that good. The vibe of the resturant was so different and fun and we got a really nice circle booth. Me and a coworker split the Chopped BLT Salad & the Parmy Carmy sandwhcih and both were so delicious. The place was packed and busy but you could still have a conversation without screaming to be heard.
