We started with the milk and honey bread with their jam. We got the filet ( which was delicious ) and our friends got the bass and prime rib which they also said was amazing. We both got the bread pudding for dessert which I thought was pretty good but our friends weren't the biggest fans of . Regardless, our waitress was a sweetheart and super accommodating. I visited this place once with my partner back in winter of 2024, and returned today for a Mother's Day dinner with my mom. Their menu changes seasonally, which I find unique. They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept. Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside. Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother's Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday. The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess! Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I'd gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn't have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu. Overall, it's a cute place and a cute concept. What an amazing place!! I have had the Heritage Table on my list to try for over a year and finally had the chance to visit last night. I had read it was one of Collin County's best restaurants and it did not disappoint. I am a huge fan of farm-to-table style restaurants and love the Frisco history associated with the building itself as well. We were able to find parking in one of the accompanying lots and were promptly seated for our 6:45pm reservation. We had a choice between the main dining room and screened-in porch. We went with the main dining room because it was raining, but the screened-in porch was actually completely covered and looked nice as well. Our waitress was incredibly kind and accommodating, she also visited with us the right amount of times, not too many or too little. Another waiter also came by to chat a couple of times about our experience and the historical art on the wall. We were specifically sitting underneath an old map of Collin county and he showed us where we live and where the restaurant was located, which was very cool. To begin the night, we ordered both of the house breads. This included the Sourdough with beef tallow butter and the Milk & Honey Rolls with fried-green tomato jam, bourbon jam and butter. Both of these were amazing!! The sourdough rolls were one of my favorite items of the night and actually one of the best pieces of bread I have ever had! I am a huge bread person so it was love at first bite! We also ordered the Grilled Peach Salad, which included Jubilant greens, romaine, sweet tea vinegarette, grilled Texas peaches, lemon, praline pecans, peach ricotta, fresh radish, and basil. It was a tasty salad and I particularly enjoyed the peach ricotta on the side. For our entrees, we ordered the Range Hand Short Rib and Country-Fried Chicken & Spaetzle. The short rib was pan-seared, boneless and served with sweet potato mash, accompanied by grilled broccolini and pickled red onion. This steak was amazing, it was perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and paired perfectly with the provided sides. It was one of the better steaks I have tried this year! The country-fried chicken was served with lemon butter sauce, capers and was on top of sourdough spaetzle with dressed Jubilant greens and farm pickles. This was a tasty, refreshing dish and the sourdough spaetzle was delightful! It was not too heavy and the chicken was fried perfectly, as it easily cut and tasted delicious. For dessert, we finished the night with the Golden Milk Bread Pudding. It had sorghum marshmallow on top and was paired with vanilla ice cream to the side. This bread pudding was also absolutely amazing! It was not too sweet or bitter, and the marshmallow and cinnamon on top was a perfect touch! Overall, we had a fantastic experience, the staff was kind, the food was amazing and our expectations were exceeded! It is worth navigating through the busy Main Street construction! This was one of the best meals I have had this year and Heritage Table is one of our new favorite restaurants! Uncle invited the family to this place on a friday night. Only one of us had been there before so it was new to most of us. Usually dont mention the outside of the places I review however the only thing that I will have to say negatively about the place is that due to its popularity and its relatively small parking space it can be a pain to find a parking spot especially on the weekends. My uncle ordered some rolls for the table and they were really good along both the honey butter and cherry jam. I ordered the beast which was a pork loin on seasoned grits. Altogether compared to the steak and fish it was the largest entree on the table for which I was glad. The service was constant and they had me seated almost as soon as I came in through the door and told them about the reservation my uncle had made, so a good deal of attention was always on us customers. Overall and excellent experience besides the limited parking. I could see myself coming to try other items and bring others along to experience it. It's my first visit to The Heritage Table on a weeknight. Quiet and empty of diners then. When my friend and I were seated out on their enclosed porch, I immediately noticed that our tabletop was not completely wiped clean. When voiced, our server did have someone to clear the matter. Lacking was the flow of the rest of the evening, with our cocktails being served after our appetizers, the slow pacing of courses, and, our water glasses only filled when asked. For dinner, nicely battered was the "Fried Green Tomatoes"; real tasty and heavenly crusted "Chicken Pot Pie"; and, lackluster was their "Chocolate Silk Pie". I love Heritage Table! Food never misses, always comes piping hot, incredibly fresh and everything is farm to table. The menu even shows where they get their produce and meats from. I always get the mushroom soup, the ribeye is cooked to perfection every time and the milk&honey buns are to die for + Chicken and Spaetzle is delicious, Pork Pie is melt in your mouth good. Sometimes the chef himself comes to your table to thank you/talk to you. The interior is super cute; I love sitting on the patio side. Another note, all the servers we've gotten have been so amazing. My husband and I enjoyed all the food here but the most surprising was the rolls. It could be very plain but the whipped butter and their green tomato jam were great to pair with the rolls. As a reply to the owner's comment, it wasn't the dressing that made the shrimp and fish cake cold with no flavor. However, I did enjoy the balsamic dressing. We haven't been to Heritage Table in several years, but thought we'd give it another try. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, but it was extremely slow. Our dining experience took about 2.5 hours. I could maybe tolerate the length of time if the food was exceptional, but that was not the case. We started with some rolls with butter and preserves, which were excellent. The filet was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The chicken and lokse was an interesting dish but tasty. The chicken piccata was not bad, but the chicken was very dry. I had the Texas gulf coast salad. I didn't much care for it, and thought it was very overpriced. The shrimp were cold and had no seasoning, and I didn't care for the fish cakes. The texture was odd, and they had no flavor. Our dinner definitely wasn't worth $200 for food only. read more

Sept 16, 2023. Went back tonight. I am very happy to say that the pickled shrimp was still on the menu and was still fantastic. We had the opportunity to speak with the GM and the chef tonight. They are very nice and it was a great experience. The chef recommended the Wagyu Beef Shoulder that had just been added to the menu. SPECTACULAR! It is about a 45 min drive for us to get here. It is well worth the drive. When you go, ask if Ashley is working. If so, sit in her section. This is a gem in the burbs. The older home setting is quaint and unique. The rolls and butter and homemade jam were truly standout items. I know! Rolls and butter? Trust me, you will remember them. We started with the Cherry Buzz cocktails, and they were a good balance of sweet cherry and strong bourbon. The result was a velvety cocktail. I started with the house salad, and it's enough to share. For my main, I ordered the appetizer portion of the Beef Kofta wraps. The beef was tender, I loved the addition of the sweet potato to the wrap, and the peppers were just spicy enough. The tomato sauce on the side didn't work for me. My husband had the country fried chicken and spaetzle, and he said the chicken was juicy and tender. The spaetzle had a texture that worked well, and the portion size was generous. The only non 5-star part of this evening was the noise level on the closed-in porch where we were seated. Perhaps because it was a chilly night and the windows were closed there was just no place for the conversation to go? The interior if the restaurant has a much more mellow ambiance. I can't say enough great things about out this place. We've been coming here for around 5 years and the consistency has never wavered. The menu is highly sophisticated and the restaurant is so charming. Last night, we tried the menu tasting and each dish was so creative, delicious and beautifully presented. This may be the best rustic farm-to-table dining experience in the metroplex! My experience was consistent with the more recent reviews. We went with the waiter's recommendations and every single thing I tried tasted fresh and phenomenal. Deviled eggs- These were delicious and not just a fancy presentation. Pork chop- I needed the pork chop cooked well done due to some dietary constraints. They were able to maintain the flavor by butterfly cooking the meat. The texture, accompanying sauce, and cassoulet made it one of the best dishes. I don't typically order pork chops, but I recommend it here. Chicken piccata- This is the most popular dish and I understand why. The chicken has more crunch than typical chicken piccata due to the breading. The sauce on the pasta was very aromatic. Chocolate silk pie- I never order chocolate silk pie, but this reminded me more of an Oreo cheesecake than a watery silk pie. All staff were very friendly and the Manager checked on us right away. They even immediately resolved an issue we had with our meal with kindness and grace. Everything here is made from scratch and pretty much farm to table. You must start with the milk and honey biscuits which come with a delectable brown sugar butter and you can add a house made jelly. I am not sure if they rotate but we had the green tomato jelly and before you wonder, don't! Just try it and you won't be disappointed. Hubby had the wagyu for his main and I the chicken piccata. Pretty big portions and both very tasty. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a delicious twist on southern home made dishes. read more
