Early dinner at Didi's ! So delicious, my husband has the Fish and Chips , so good, French fries were so good , fish was flavorful and cooked to perfection! I had the Crab Stuffed Shells, amazing the pesto cream sauce was perfect with the shells! Enjoyed our Friday evening neighborhood dinner!!

Good food and great service from Simone x2! Love this spot, we came last week and ran it back for a special we saw online. Unfortunately, they ran out of ribeyes but!!! They were able to accommodate and replaced the steak for NY strip! We've gotten the redfish on both visits and it hit every time. Great experience all around, they'll definitely be seeing me again. :)

    Nice photo op spot!

Cute restaurant! Made reservations for 4 for dinner on a Friday night and met some friends there. Inside seemed kinda loud when we checked in so we sat outside on the huge patio. It ended up being pretty loud as well and huge fans were blowing which helped keep the flies away but was a little annoying. We moved over to an empty table next to us and that helped keep us out of the wind tunnel. We had a great time catching up with our friends. We looked over the menu and placed our orders. There was some live entertainment setting up and once it got going it was very hard to keep conversing. The food was very good and the manager came by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our friend had seen the chef/owner? on TV do an interview and that's how we found Didi's Downtown. We would definitely come back again!

Visited this restaurant tonight for a date night and loved that they had live entertainment on their patio. This restaurant is really cute and cozy consisting of an indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and a spicy pineapple ranch water drink. They were both fabulous as far as taste and presentation. Our waiter was nice and service was ok however I did feel at the end my waiter was a bit in a rush to take our food away although I was not done with my food yet. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner/ chef who was really kind and personable.

So glad we came! It was bustling for a weekday night in suburbia, and we were about to discover why. Hostesses were sweet and we were sat immediately. Our server Simone was extremely professional and thorough. Special thanks to Ava for providing extra service in regards to my spicy cravings. We met chef/ owner Scott, who was all over the restaurant ensuring every patron was enjoying themselves and experiencing high standards. Not only was he interesting and funny, you could feel the passion and hospitality he exuded. The menu had plenty of choices that piqued my interest, particularly the seafood. My husband and I are grateful for one of the best date night/ dining adventures we've had in a while. Service, drinks and food exceeded all expectations and we will be returning!

Hippy Kai Yay Didi Goers! This cute little southern gem is the place to be on a Friday night! As I walked in to this cute little restaurant I was welcomed by Didi herself. She gave us a big hug and asked how our day was harvesting the crops down yonder. As I warmed up my dreary bones by the nice fire Didi brought over some delicious Philly Cheesesteak eggrolls. She was telling us that she just came back from a trip from Philadelphia and had this idea of making a Philly Cheesesteak eggroll! How witty of her. Then she spent her whole day fishing out by the Frisco lake and caught some catfish and redfish! She sure is a hard worker. As I finished the egg rolls there she comes with the main courses! Fresh catch of the day YUM! God bless Didi.

We had a really great experience. We sat out on the patio and there were plenty of fans to keep us cool. The food was good & fresh. It is also very reasonably priced. The atmosphere reminded us a lot of Austin, TX. The service was great & the staff worked as a team making sure everyone was taken care of. We will definitely visit again.

This place has been on our "Must go" list, so after church we decided to go check out brunch & so glad we did! Our sever, Sydney was excellent! The Chef came over to our table, nice touch! The mushrooms in the omelette had a yummy smoky taste! Next time we'll start with the beignets we were just too full this time! Can't wait to try "Social Hour" too! Loved the decor and the patio with music is so cool!

We always drive past this place so we were excited to finally give it a try. We ordered the short rib benedict and Nashville chicken and waffle sandwich. They have great hospitality but the food was over cooked. Short rib was dry, poached egg was basically hard boiled, fried chicken was over fried and very bland for Nashville style fried chicken. The potatoes were good though.

We come here for the patio and live music! The service is always great and everyone is extra friendly. We tried the loaded fries, hot honey chicken sandwich, side Caesar and the bbq chicken and macaroni. The loaded fries were extra cheesy and very good. The hot honey chicken was a little disappointing. It is pounded thin and didn't have much flavor. I think adding some extra sauce would help the flavor and not so thin would help prevent the chicken being dry. The salad was good. The bbq chicken and macaroni was also good. We didn't feel rushed like at so many local restaurants. Don't let the construction keep you away. There's parking alongside the building and a lot right across the street.

We are visiting Frisco from out of town and noticed this great restaurant was right down the street. We had dinner here our first night, and wow it was amazing. I had the patty melt and my wife had the meat loaf. For dessert we had their beignets, and wow, those were amazing too. We were so excited and stoked about the quality of food, that we decided to go there again today (Saturday) for brunch. The food was again amazing for brunch. The staff is very friendly. The review lost one star because the chef was walking through the restaurant, stopped at our table, and reprimanded us for bringing outside coffee into the restaurant (we are from out of town and didn't know the rules and also double checked that it is not posted on the door). It is never a good feeling to be reprimanded in the middle of a family meal. Other than the one bad experience during breakfast, I would highly recommend this place! It is truly great food!

Honestly here to leave a review based on Chef Scott's creativity and business savvy mindset. Love watching the dude do everything he can to save his business in downtown Frisco. We'll be in Wednesday to #savemain

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. We started with the buffalo deviled eggs, which were honestly a standout--creamy with just the right amount of kick and a fun twist on a classic. I also ordered a salad that had candied pecans, apples, and grapes, topped with chicken that was cooked absolutely perfectly--so tender and flavorful. It's one of those dishes that feels light but still really satisfying. The ambience is what really makes this place special. It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.

That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive.
