The vibe feels like you have stepped into a chai Paris Café.- very fancy, dreamy, and beautifully designed. It's definitely a great spot for photos or a special outing. They offer a wide wrench of manual selections, which is nice, but the prices are on the higher side while the full presentation is appealing, the overall taste is just average and doesn't quite match the price point One thing that really stands out is the service. Both times I visited the service was excellent - attentive, friendly, and professional, which made the experience enjoyable. Overall, the bloom lounge is a lovely place for its atmosphere and service, but in terms of value, I think there are other restaurants that offer better quality for the price I will consider coming back for the ambience, but probably not as a go-to for the food. read more

**CANDLELIGHT DINNER** We were super excited to make a reservation for The Bloom Lounge's Candlelight Dinner, which promised captivating ambiance. When we arrived the candlelight ambiance was not ready. That first impression was a huge disappointment. Luckily, our waitress was a total rock star and managed to keep us smiling while chaos unfolded around us. But when the transformation finally began .. lights dimmed, candles flickered, and live music filled the room, suddenly, it felt magical. Unfortunately, we were nearly six feet from the live music. No doubt Abby Litjens has an amazing voice ... but at that range, we were basically her backup singers. Conversation? Nonexistent. We just sat there, smiling politely, held hostage. Honestly she could have performed without speakers and it would have been so pleasant in that tiny space. My two cents. The ambiance was beyond amazing: crystal chandeliers, wisteria hanging from the ceiling, and a walkway lined with candles.. so sexy, and definitely romantic. Except... they squeezed way too many tables together. Between everyone's winter coats, purses, and the wait staff working on the table behind us, sitting at a two top was absolutely miserable! We were shoulder to shoulder with our neighbors. Upon leaving, I could hardly squeeze my way out, while holding my coat up in the air, and coming around the corner I brushed up against the candle labras to doge a waitress and nearly caught my coat on fire.. no lie. If I had been tipsy I wouldn't have cleared it. That was very uncomfortable moment. I want to leave this review on a positive note: the food was perfect and it redeemed the night. The lobster bisque was creamy, flavorful, served with fresh crouton style bread slices. The Chicken Piccata was one delicious large tender breast, served over a rich lemon butter wine sauce and had a generous portion of fettuccine noodles. She said the owner wouldn't allow it...(even though the prices are nearly the same). They did remake the sliders so that was fine. Price is a tad overpriced and tables are way too close together. The pieces of toast were big, but I barely got any syrup to go with it and the overall taste of the toast was dry and seemed rushed. I've had better at places like ihop and some mom and pop places. This is definitely a brunch location where the focus isn't the food but the social atmosphere. There were more baby showers and people hanging out than individuals focused on actually eating. We went to this amazing looking place for two birthdays. As the name sounds, it is a bloomy kind of place. They do accept online reservations, so do reserve it before you go there. The good thing about this place was accessibility for us and location from my friends house. We were very happy with the decor and the plates, the settings everything. I would still say it's a bit cramped being in Texas, but they have a good outdoor space for parties and events which they open it up if it's not reserved. This is MY kind of place. The vibe is super cute first of all - there are flowers everywhere and it is sunny and bright inside. Plenty of parking in the little shopping center too. Our server was helpful and attentive, and the food came out in good time. Everything we had was excellent with the exception of a coffee I ordered at the end - it was an elderflower latte and I usually love elderflower but actually I didn't like the flavor of this one. That said -- the luxurious mimosa (rose flavor) that I had was sparkly and tasted like what it said it had, including rose! My friend got the orange carajillo cocktial and really liked it, and we shared the tres leches pancakes and a truffle omelet - both of which were delicious. We also got a side of zatar fries, and that was very unique. Overall the menu has SO many fun things to try, and has lots of both sweet and savory options. Of all the things we ordered we really enjoyed the salmon rolls and the red velvet waffles (the cotton candy is a bit much). Coffee drinks are pretty good as well. There are pretty gold accents that hold blue and white teacups and teapots. The ceramic tile behind the bar on the floor is subtly pretty. This would be a beautiful place for a shower. First of all, this place is so cute!! Lots of great photo opps if you like to do that. It's small and intimate. The patio was enclosed so perfect for a cool, 67 degree day. When we first got there, we walked past the hostess podium because we didn't see it. The lady walked right past us to help the people at the podium, our mistake so we let it go. But then we didn't get sat or noticed until my friend asked if we could have a table. She apologized and said they were a bit short staffed, so we let it go again. Onto the food and drinks. My friend loooved the white chocolate mocha. She said the cold foam was like whipped cream & was so yummy with the mocha. My mimosa was the way you'd want a mimosa--light on the juice. Now onto our server and the food. He was very nice & helped us with deciding on our entrees since it was our first times. My friend loved her pancake with the strawberry and whip cream. She said it went perfect together. She did mention the eggs being a bit bland, but the sourdough and ham were yummy. My other friend's chicken Caesar salad sandwich was sooooo good she said. She loved the crunch of the bread with the Caesar salad, and the fries were delicious. I got the Italian Benedict. The flavors were so good, and I loved the Parmesan on top. Eating it w the potatoes was perfect. My only complaint about the server was that he seemed to forget about us after they brought our food. My friend wanted some jelly for her sourdough toast, but he did not come back until we were ALL 3 done with our meals. She addressed it politely just by mentioning that she was hoping to get some but that it was gone, and he was apologetic, which I understood and appreciate because of the short staff. We came on Easter weekend brunch and as expected it was quite packed! We forgot to make a reservation but they had bar seating we were able to get seated at right away. The bar staff was very friendly and hospitable! We ordered the pork belly croissant and the chicken and waffles. I was able to make a slight modification to the croissant which I appreciated! We also had mimosas, watermelon and passion fruit, which were unique flavors I hadn't seen elsewhere. The interior is so beautiful and well-decorated. Honestly, this was such a disappointing experience. I ordered an omelette and it literally looked like something made out of plastic completely bland and unappetisingu. We were a group of 10 ladies, and the waitress never once mentioned that every single vegetable added to the omelette would be charged extra. I mean seriously... I'm just glad they didn't charge for salt and pepper too. What was supposed to be a $14-$16 dish ended up costing me $30 and I didn't even eat it. I really wanted to like The Bloom Lounge. The space is clearly popular, loud, crowded, and buzzing with energy. Unfortunately, popularity does not equal quality, and this visit was a disappointment from start to finish. I ordered the warm honey butter pancakes with a pumpkin spice latte, Wagyu beef mini sliders, and papas bravas. The pancakes were fine. Not bad, not memorable, and certainly not something I would return for. The latte did what it needed to do and stayed out of the spotlight. The sliders were genuinely awful. Completely flavorless. No seasoning, no richness, nothing that resembled Wagyu beef in any meaningful way. If you told me it was standard ground beef, I would have believed you without hesitation. For something marketed as Wagyu, it was bafflingly bland and wildly underwhelming. The papas bravas didn't fare any better. Overcooked, dry, and equally flavorless. At this point, a theme was emerging. Things went from disappointing to unacceptable when my daughter's food arrived with hair in it. That alone should have prompted a sincere apology and immediate corrective action. Instead, the manager, Charlie, became defensive and implied that the issue with the sliders was that I was simply not "cultured" or accustomed to this type of food. An interesting explanation, considering flavorless food is not a sophisticated culinary experience anywhere. To make matters worse, Charlie came to the table and began attempting to clear food while I was still actively eating, grabbing plates without asking. It was uncomfortable, abrupt, and unprofessional. Later, Charlie publicly claimed that our meal was comped. It was not. My bank statement would be happy to confirm that. At the price point for an entrée, The Bloom Lounge manages to be both overpriced and underwhelming. Add dismissive management and poor handling of legitimate complaints, and it becomes an easy decision. I would not return and do not recommend this restaurant. The entire experience felt like an expensive lesson in lowered expectations and misplaced hype. read more

Gem of a place that lives up to its appearance. Great ambience, service, and food. At first, you can't help but be impressed by the obvious care put into the decor -- elegant and floral and definitely Instagram-worthy -- it also makes you wonder...if they put this much effort into the decor, did they also put this effort into the food? Too often, restaurants overindex on one or the other. Well....the short answer is yes, they did! I'm happy and satisfied to share that the large menu lives up to the hype. It is on the pricier side, but for good reason. The portions are reasonable and well-executed. Everyone in our (large) group thoroughly enjoyed their meal. (See pics for dish descriptions.) We came in on a weekday for a group lunch. It was comfortably busy -- many pairs of diners and small groups were spaced out among the tables. There was unobtrusive music and chatter at a pleasant volume. Our server was very attentive to our party of 8, appearing at the perfect time to take our drink, appetizer, and entree orders. She left us ample time to enjoy our entrees while coming in with timely refills of (filtered, not tap-tasting) water. After we happily enjoyed everything, our server cleared our plates and brought boxes and paper to-go bags without rushing us. Breakdown of what I tried: Crispy salmon balls -- came with 3. Quite crisp and filling, easy to split. The arugula salad was simply dressed but surprisingly excellent. Rose latte -- floral and sweet. Not a strong coffee flavor, so I'd consider adding more espresso next time, but nice rose flavor. It's great if you have a sweet tooth, but slightly too sweet for my taste. Italian Benedict -- quite surprised by how good this was. It's easy to make a "mid" eggs benedict and difficult to make a really good one, served hot. (Especially with a large group like ours). English muffin toasted perfectly, poached eggs tender with runny yolks, and prosciutto and parmesan grated on top were the perfect amount of saltiness and savoriness. (Only critique is the "papas bravas" were more like regular breakfast potatoes, pretty standard.) Broccolini -- it's very easy to make bad broccolini, very easy to make decent broccolini that's just broiled and charred at the edges, but very difficult to make well-roasted, well seasoned broccolini that still has great texture with every bite. This was great. In conclusion, the chefs here really know what they're doing. Especially with a varied menu where dishes have many components, there was nothing under/overcooked, under/over seasoned. Everyone experienced that quiet contentment that you get after a really good meal. A lovely time all around; would highly recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, or brunch! read more

We had a 2:30 PM reservation and were seated immediately, which was appreciated. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic, but the space is very small and overcrowded. Tables are extremely close together, and we were seated right by the kitchen. It was loud, tight, and constant foot traffic made it uncomfortable. The black-and-white floors were also visibly dirty. The pumpkin spice Bloom latte was good. Unfortunately, that was one of the few positives. We ordered the Wagyu beef mini sliders and initially received them without meat. The server corrected it quickly, but once the sliders came back, the meat was completely unseasoned. When we mentioned this, the manager Charlie stated they don't season the Wagyu and repeatedly said it's "not what you're used to," which came across as dismissive. Our main dishes took about 35 minutes to arrive. My food had hair in it and had to be remade. My son's pancakes were hard and unenjoyable. My salmon rolls sounded great on the menu but lacked flavor, again due to no seasoning. The manager asked if I wanted something else and I declined because I didn't want to be disappointed again. The coffee and fresh orange juice were good, and our waitress was pleasant. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. Would I return? No. This review reflects my experience. read more
