Big place, pretty good for large groups. Great selection of beer of course. Service was good. Would recommend staying away from the brunch menu, it wasn't even presented to us at first until we asked and I see why. Very underwhelming. I also got the fish and chips, now that was a very solid dish. The batter was excellent, SUPER crispy and seasoned with nice tender flaky fish inside. Some of my group said it was a little on the salty side, but still very good. The slaw it came with was solid too and I usually don't like slaw. Decent fries. Overall a good plate and fairly priced. Had some other appetizers like the triple dip, that was also super underwhelming, barely touched it.

Met up with a friend for drinks and apps before ubering over to the Dallas Pulse game. We sat on the spacious shaded patio. There was also an open outdoor dining patio and separate area with water views & adirondack chairs that looked like it would be a nice spot to catch a drink later in the evening. Our food and drinks came out quickly. This was much appreciated as we were in a bit of a hurry to get to the game. We tried. The pretzel bites and the Texas smothered fries. Both were delicious and the portions were generous.

Nice and spacious restaurant with a lot of indoor and outdoor sittings. We love the food (good quality, tasty, fun and unique) and the outdoor area. Great place to take family and friends to hang out and have a fun time. Our waitress was very nice and friendly too.

I came here with my mom for a beer and a little something to eat. We sat at the bar and were greeted quickly. The bartender when choosing a beer, he gave us samples. We ordered the MEDITERRANEAN PLATE which had babaganoush, muhammara, carrot hummus, olive medley, warm pita, we ended up ordering an extra side of pita.l bread. Everything was tasty, but I do with it came with a few veggies as well.

My daughter and I came in for a beer and a bite to eat. We sat at the bar and were greeted within a few minutes. The bartender was very helpful with our beer choices, allowing us to try samples. We ordered the MEDITERRANEAN PLATE which consisted of babaganoush, muhammara, carrot hummus, olive medley, warm pita and an extra order of pita. Everything was fresh and tasty; perfect amount to split between two people.

What a beautiful spot, there is not a bad seat in the house (unless you were on the awkward date at the table next to us. Happy Hour Deals coming in strong. The chips and queso definitely add the salsa it was the sleeper star of the show. The queso was good but little cool when it got to the table. The pretzels were also tasty, the mustard was excellent. I ordered the poke bowl it was delicious. Rarely ever will I say something was over sauced, but this was borderline. It needed a bit more lettuce to accommodate. Amber Ale was not to heavy and a perfect happy hour compliment to our apps. Our server was delightful and the food came quickly. Definitely a go to if you are in the area.

We've been to Union Bear several times and have always had good experiences. I love the aesthetic. We usually sit at the bar and service is always great. This time was no different. Hubs ordered the boss hog pizza and even though it was a bit overdone it was really good, would definitely order it again. I ordered the Reuben, I would honestly not order it again. The sandwich contents were tasty but the bread was soggy on the bottom and the fries were honestly terrible, barely warm and not crispy at all. Hubs had beer and liked both of the ones he tried. I had the UB old fashioned and it was delicious. All in all some soggy bread and bad fries won't keep us from coming back. Our good experiences outweigh the bad for sure.

Union Bear in Plano never disappoints. We sat outside this time and it was really nice with plenty of fans to keep us cool and TVs showing sports. The vibe is always fun and laid-back. We got the Brussels sprouts topped with bacon and they were delicious, savory and sweet. I wish it was a tad more crispy. The food and drinks here are consistently solid! We ordered and got our food and drinks quickly.

I loved the bolognese!! And I think this was called a honey bear (the drink), the waiters are so nice and definitely great at their job and the place is cute! Lots of natural lighting.

This place was great! The brew is just great, if you like IPA's the this is the place for you. The apps were good and the seating outside has a nice view of the area. The server was awesome and very attentive, I can't say much else- it's a good place for some beers with friends. Place was clean, modern, restrooms were very private with each stall having a full door.

Had a great first time experience at Union Bear Friday evening. I brought my son for light bites and a beer before we headed over to the Rough Riders ball game. I figured in terms of a great beer, coming to a brewery would be an excellent choice. We both really loved our selections. I think he had some type of Mexican lager and I had the West coast IPA. We shared pretzel bites and the Korean chicken wings. My son loves wings and I've never heard him enjoy an order of wings as much as these. I'm pretty sure the not so secret ingredient was the gochujang sauce. Soooooo yummy!!!! Totally need to recreate these at home. Service was superb! We snagged two barstools while the table wait was around 40min at 6p. Place was buzzin'. My son told me this is the first place he wants to revisit next time he's in town. High praise if I do say so myself. Highly recommend for a fun time, great prices and yummy bites.

I am so happy we were able to get this place booked for graduation dinner! They were one of the few that would take a party of 16-20 without booking through an event coordinator. The food is really great quality, I'm pretty impressed. I ordered one of every appetizer for the table and can say now that they're all great. The service was very attentive, even for such a large table, and they were even willing to split tickets for each person! I didn't make them do that, but they were gracious in offering. The in house brews are good, too, I really like the sours. Will definitely return!

Solid spot for a bite to eat. I had the chili, which was good, and my wife really liked the Greek salad and the Honey Bear drink. Overall, a good place to grab food and drinks.

The restaurant itself has a real cool hip vibe, definitely up my alley. I ordered myself the beer cheese-steak (with fries) and a blue sapphire cocktail - these. were. AMAZING! They even have a "micro brewers menu" aka kids menu, my son chose the mini smashburgers with chips. He loved it so much, there was nothing left on his plate at the end. They have a bunch of board games available to use while dining so my son and I grabbed a Jurassic Park matching game, this was a super fun activity to do together while munching away. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!

It was counter service and the guy that took our order was laid back. We paid, he gave us a number and then we chose a place to sit and waited for our food. We ordered several items to share. We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with TVs for games, live music on weekends, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with patio seating, fire pits, and outdoor activities that make it feel like more than just a typical brewery. The drink selection is a standout. Even if beer isn't your thing, there are solid cocktail and mocktail options. The beer lineup itself is strong, featuring a mix of American and European styles. One thing to note is that serving sizes tend to be on the smaller side, with only a few options available in a 0.5L stein. Service has been consistently friendly and efficient. Food and drinks often arrive very quickly, even during busier times, which is a big plus. The food is good overall but falls into the "solid bar food" category. There are a few highlights, like the cheese curds, which are excellent and a clear favorite. Other dishes such as fish and chips, mac and cheese, and soup are enjoyable but not especially memorable. The burgers are a bit of a letdown, and some of the higher-priced items, like the salmon and short ribs (which resemble more of a chuck roast), are better found elsewhere. Overall, Armor Brewing is a fun, reliable spot to grab a drink and enjoy a lively atmosphere. While the food can be inconsistent and leans toward average bar fare, the drinks, service, and overall experience make it worth coming back.
