Went here with family for Saturday dinner. I ordered Fish and Chips, French Onion Soup, Mac n Cheese, Wedge Salad. They're delicious. They have brewery and serve finest draft beer and ale. This is a family oriented American Restaurant. They have live performances on weekends. Service staff are friendly. Lots of parking.

I have been a steady customer now at Armor and I have to say their brewer, Brian Martin, keeps churning out excellent beers. A new one each week, which you can try on Thursday's for $3. Can't get a better deal in the area. He also always has at least one smoked beer on tap, which I absolutely LOVE! Aside from that, their food is excellent, too. I haven't had anything yet I don't like and right now, my newest obsession is their Edamame. Their spice blend with Furikake is just so addictive! So, I'm really thrilled that they opened in my area and the way they're going, they'll be around for a long time!

This place is so good! Big fan of their sample beer flights! Its perfect! Also this is the best pretzel I have every ordered in my life! Pretzels are huge, perfectly salted, hot, and soft! Their wings did not disappoint! Ordered two ordered worth so good! Dry rub is the best! Good to go and watch a game! Stay is very friendly and the place is super clean!

Chili and a hazy IPA.

Lots of options on the menu but it's a chilly night in January so gotta go with the chili. Katie was my server and she did a fantastic job. Chili was nicely seasoned and not too spicy. Toppings were cheese, sour cream and green onions with a small piece of Mexican cornbread. It paired well with a Trail Boss, a hazy IPA.

My family and I came here for lunch by recommendation. The service was fantastic. Our server AJ J (I think) was great! Wen enjoyed our experience immensely. The atmosphere was cheerful and friendly. Food tasted pretty good. We plan to come back again!

I've been here a few times now and I have enjoyed every visit. They have plenty of TVs to watch the games, outdoor seating and play areas for the kids and adults, plus great beer and amazing food. Their service is always top notch and they are attentive. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the Allen area, even if you don't drink beer as their food is worth it.

Great art on the merch!

This place has everything! Food and beers are top quality. Service was prompt and attentive. Restaurant area had a nice sophisticated vibe, not the farmhouse chic most employ. Merch selection is awesome with great design elements. Outside features pickleball courts, fire pit, patio dining, play area, small outdoor stage, etc. This brewery is very well laid out and designed for comfortable gathering. It's also pet and kid friendly!

Nothing better than a brewery tucked away in an unassuming industrial park. What a great spot with an awesome vibe and with perfectly appropriate decor. The waitstaff and bartenders were super friendly and welcoming as well. Obviously they have some great beers and pours but the cocktail menu they have is dang near perfect. They also have a pretty decent bourbon collection too. The food, from what I had, was outstanding. Blistered edamame was perfectly spicy and had great flavor. They have excellent fries too. But the dang garlic parm wings were truly some of the best wings I ever had, no exaggeration. Next time someone asks me where to go for wings, I'm sending them here. Can't wait to come back.

This place is BUSY on a Friday night! Just a heads up! We were able to get seated right before the real rush came through and we had a party of 10. The was great and the food was delicious! I suggest trying the edamame. Yum! I really like the atmosphere. It's a great place to go if you want to be somewhere busy and social. There are dart boards and there is also an enclosed outdoor area where a one man band was playing. It was nice to see all of the adults relaxing and the kiddos running around having a good time. Highly recommend you try this place out!

Take out of Hoppy Horizon IPA - West Coast style + fruity, tropical flavor
Mark N.

I was visiting a retired Army buddy and we had lunch at Armor - a truly awesome place and its so close to his house. Armor Brewing has a nice outdoor patio area (good when its cooler), pickle ball court, and a playground area for kids! A family friendly place...however the best feature is the beer and food. The selection of beer is awesome with many varieties - being partial to IPAs, I was happy to see a few choices. I started with the Armor IPA and switched to the Hoppy Horizon, a unique IPA because it had a tropical, fruity taste, with a West Coast flavor - I liked it enough I returned after leaving to purchase a four-pack to take home. My buddy ordered some wings - dry rub only. Try it - you too will be a fan as the rub has sweet, savory flavor with a little bit of heat. I ordered the All-American (Wagyu) burger - cooked medium and it was delicious, even better with the cold beer. Look for the ALLEN, TX water tower, Armor Brewing is located at the foot of it - driving to the location may be a bit challenging, at least it was for me as I was visiting. I will definitely be back for more tasty beer and food.

We finally made it to Armor Brewing! It is such a cool spot!!! We came to watch UT Longhorns!! There were plenty of UT fans there. So fun!! Steph, the bartender, took great care of us!!! Had a great bloody Mary from the brunch menu & my husband had buffalo trace on a ice rock. then I tried a flight of their beer, and they were all fantastic!! We ordered the Milwaukee pretzels for an appetizer & it was so delicious!! Then we ordered brunch. My husband ordered the 2 egg breakfast and I ordered the breakfast crossaint sandwich with bacon. So good! And the breakfast potatoes were delicious. Everything was hot! Plenty of parking. Restrooms very clean. Lots of outdoor seating. We always sit at the bar. Staff was great and very attentive!! We will be back!!

If you come for trivia, highly recommend that you make reservations & we're glad we did, since it was quite busy. Ordered the cheese curd app & a burger. Solid food recommendations which helped fuel brain power for a few hours of trivia. Interior is spacious & nicely lit & acoustics were just right to hear the quizmaster & your teammates. Attentive service as well.

Fun place to stop by with the family. We had previously come on a rainy night and loved the pretzel and the korean bulgogi fried rice dish. This time around it was nice weather and we brought the kids. They loved running around in the enclosed grassy area and making friends. Our server was attentive, and it was fun to stroll their small market that day. We orderes the pretzel again, along with the cheesecurds. Loved both. The beer cheese with the pretzel is really good, better than most places (many skimp on it or pass off weak pimiento or similar). However, we were unimpressed with our entrees. I had their specialty burger, and it was good, but nothing close to worth the price tag. Also on the small side. Fries were good. Overall, disappointed with this second visit since we were hoping it would impress family. But a nice place to come for appetizers and let the kids play.

The refreshed campus has a local take I would say possibly inspired by Magnolia to the South. Same great brew house with extras. Plenty for kids and family too. Parking is sparse so be prepared to walk. Visit local vendors permanently on site like my fave Toasted syrups.

My husband got a flight and liked every single beer, I couldn't decide between a beer or a cocktail so I got both. The espresso martini and a vanilla bourbon aged stout. The martini was very vodka forward but yummy! The stout was both my husband and i's favorite. We love their new venue, we would love to come back during one of the many evening events they host but we're so glad we tried it out! My only complaint is I wish they had more board games, card games, etc. They do have some but the pieces are scattered across the entire building or missing all together. I wish people respected other companies property and I understand why big places like this don't invest a lot in games when it gets treated like this. They do have an old Nintendo set up which I thought was cool! We didn't play so I hope it works but that was fun to see.

The restaurant itself has a real cool hip vibe, definitely up my alley. I ordered myself the beer cheese-steak (with fries) and a blue sapphire cocktail - these. were. AMAZING! They have a bunch of board games available to use while dining so my son and I grabbed a Jurassic Park matching game, this was a super fun activity to do together while munching away. We had a wonderful time here and will surely be back soon. :)

The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!

So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.

We started with their famous honey pepper bacon appetizer, and we all enjoyed it. You can definitely taste the honey and the pepper, and they work really well together. The only thing that would've made it even better for me is if the bacon was crunchier (I'm a crunchy bacon kind of person). The chili soup was also good, just a bit too spicy for my taste. My hubby ordered the Mama's pork chop and loved every bite. I really liked the fried okra that came with it you can tell it was freshly sliced, with just the right amount of breading. The mashed potatoes were good too, nice and creamy, topped with gravy. For drinks, I ordered the fall sangria. It was okay, but the flavor was a little different than what I'm used to. It was almost like it had a splash of spritzer in it. For dessert, we tried the vanilla bean ice cream with honey pepper bacon, and wow, that was surprisingly good. The crunchy bacon with a little spice paired really well with the smooth vanilla ice cream. Our server, Jacob, was great. He was attentive, friendly, and very sociable.
