The NEW Tupps brewery, taproom, restaurant and campus is a five star experience!! The OG was awesome. The refreshed campus has a local take I would say possibly inspired by Magnolia to the South. Same great brew house with extras. I love the grounds, so pretty and well manicured for beer drinking with friends or enjoying a special event. Now with food options even better given food is a must with beer. Plenty for kids and family too. Parking is sparse so be prepared to walk. Visit local vendors permanently on site like my fave Toasted syrups. read more

My husband and I stopped here in the middle of the day on a Thursday so there wasn't a lot going on but we still throughly enjoyed ourselves! My husband got a flight and liked every single beer, I couldn't decide between a beer or a cocktail so I got both. The espresso martini and a vanilla bourbon aged stout. The martini was very vodka forward but yummy! The stout was both my husband and i's favorite. We love their new venue, we would love to come back during one of the many evening events they host but we're so glad we tried it out! My only complaint is I wish they had more board games, card games, etc. They do have some but the pieces are scattered across the entire building or missing all together. I wish people respected other companies property and I understand why big places like this don't invest a lot in games when it gets treated like this. They do have an old Nintendo set up which I thought was cool! We didn't play so I hope it works but that was fun to see. read more

Located in historic downtown McKinney. The brewery has several buildings, very large property that can be confusing for first timers as far as where to go with no signage etc. We stopped an employee to ask what building offered drinks. She proceeded to tell us where to go and how their system works. Find a table, scan the QR code and your order will be severed directly to you. That was the most conversation we had with any employee. That said, overall the staff seemed busy as we saw so many walking by delivering orders. The grounds & buildings are mill historic & layout has a relaxing rustic charm. We just had a drink and soaked in the vibe. The food looked good. They have a specific menu designed to pairs well with their craft beers. Additionally, there's obviously the taproom, kitchen, live music, and a huge outdoor space with designated areas for fun activities that attract kids and adult a like. This brewery features a rotating selection. Local & State brews offering over 20 different beers on tap such as IPAs, stouts, and lagers, plus several hard seltzers too! Ambiance is laid back and chill. Adirondack chairs surround several horseshoe fire pits in the middle of the yard. Note- This scan system can get fairly pricey as each time you order you pay. Attended an engagement party here. Food - incredible. The brews - also incredible. The wait staff for our private party - also incredible. It's a relatively large property with some great outdoor spaces in addition to the bar and the private room we used. Don't know when I will be back in McKinney but Tupps will be one of the stops for certain! read more

Definitely make a reservation! Seated immediately (thanks to our rez) at a table on the lower portion (surrounded by large tvs). The guys wanted to be able to view the game and the multiple tvs allowed a vantage point from each seat. We started with the hummus for me and the chips & quesp for my hubby & the kids. My hubby also added a beer flight/sampler. The hummus was delicious, the veggies fresh and tasty too. I ate the final bites with a spoon. The chips were perfect and everyone enjoyed the queso down to the last drop. For entrees the kids all got burgers/cheeseburgers kid's meals and enjoyed each and every bite. The homemade marshmallow crispy treats were a hit! My hubby really enjoyed his burger, noting multiple times how incredible the meat was. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich amd would order it again. Our waiter was amazing. He was so chill, but so attentive. He kept our drinks filled and joyfully brought extra chips when the kids finished them off. He cleared empty dishes to make way for more space and didnt rush us with the bill. We will absolutely be back to enjoy Tupps in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the vast property. We also look forward to trying other drinks and food. read more

I love the choose-your-adventure style of this brewery. Inside, air conditioned and a bit more fancy (but not overly so). Outside, classic Texas brewery experience. Large property, there were tons of kids running around outside and riding a little train (cool). There was a petting zoo while we were there. What can I say- was so excited to visit one of my favorite beer brewers-got to sample many of the IPA's I can't get at home, eat some delicious food, and be greeted and helped by the super friendly staff! Was so impressed at the quality of the food and selection in the menu. Special kudos to manager, Jack, who showed me around the property. My family and I have been to Tupps Brewery several times, and every visit has been fantastic. They have an excellent beer selection with something for everyone, paired with a great food menu that consistently delivers. We usually show up with a pretty large group, and the staff always handles the mini rush with ease. Food comes out hot and delicious, and we've genuinely enjoyed everything we've ordered so far. The building and grounds are a big part of what makes Tupps special--plenty of space to spread out, relax, and hang out. There are TVs for catching a game and an overall laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Tupps is my favorite brewery in the DFW area! They have some great IPA's and stouts. My favorite mainstay beer they have is the Evil Dankster IPA but they usually have some smaller batch beers such as their DDH series, and Grown Man stouts. This place is perfect for families, as the property is HUGE, 6 acres of land. They have a kids play area, and a kids menu and so many places to sit such as indoors in the grain room, outside seating, and a beer hall. My daughter loves it here, and she goes around meeting other kids, petting dogs, running around, and enjoys the food. The food is good, and only getting better, they consistently make changes to their menu looking to improve and make it the best it can be. My wife and I really enjoy the pretzel, the burger, fries, pork belly app, and chicken nuggets. They also consistently have events, goat yoga, Easter egg hunt, live music, and so on. They have a great mug club membership that my wife and I joined. The staff is amazing as well. All friendly, and caring for the customers. Full Grown Man/Nick/Jack...any of the Full Grown lineup is BOMBTASTIC!!! I love dark stouts and when they have a bourbon barrel aged Full Grown Man you better jump on it fast because it goes quick. We love the new location, much bigger than the old location but I wish there was a better system for ordering a beer. It seems that every time I go in the line is different, depends on how the customers lineup. Would love to see Tupps implement a single line, next customer up type system that is roped off...just because when it's 3 or 4 lines you never know who's getting one beer, who's in a group, how many people are really in front of you, etc. All that being said, we still love the beer and food and will continue to support our local McKinney business!!! read more

I love this brewery! We have been coming here since opening weekend of this location. It's family friendly which is a huge plus and there's a good amount of space for your kiddos to run around and have fun as well. The beers are delicious, I'm specifically an IPA girl and the ones they make here are delicious. I love that they have a food menu with many different options to choose from. The pretzel is a must. It's big enough to share with a few people and the beer cheese that comes with it is a bit spicy but SO good! They also have options for those who don't drink beer or alcohol at all which is nice. I was in Texas over the Easter weekend and was taken by my host to Tupps. Wow, awesome! The food was great, with many selections. And a huge selection of Tupps beer. Hard liquor was served also. The service was quick and efficient. This establishment is stretched out over the grounds with several buildings, with the Tupps Brewery onsight. The main restaurant has three levels, with many patios outside, including a large covered patio with flat screen tv's. And a playground for the kids and gardens. We came here for a birthday party and had reserved a table for 13 of us. The staff was super friendly and treated you like family. The service was pretty good and it was packed. They had just forgotten one of our drink orders but they fixed it quickly. There is so much that they offer from live music weekly, playgrounds for kids, vendors, and food. The beer selection is always amazing. I loved their 10th anniversary IPA. I visited on Saturday of last week. They offer mostly standard bar food, but the burgers are outstanding as was the wheat beer. I mentioned to one bar attendant that the American Flag was being displayed backwards. He assured me that they had just posted the flag earlier that day and assured me that he would let the front of house manager know. Sunday the flag was still wrong and the attendant I informed that night was totally indifferent to flag etiquette. I appreciate when business or persons display their pride in our countries symbol, but find it sad when their pride is false. It would be better to not display the flag! read more

It was convenient, but it would be great if they allow substitutions or an option to remove something from food. We ordered few beers, classic burger, brisket cheese steak, nachos and cheese and veg wrap. Service was quick and beer and food were amazing! This is such a great option in the downtown McKinney area. They have finished up the former industrial/grain elevator space to be a welcoming spot to hang out for food, beverages, and enjoying various events they host. We came by on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We split our time first inside the main building in some comfy chairs in the loft area. Then we moved outside where they had live music playing. The tacos were delicious and smothered in a yummy sauce. They were a little soggy towards the bottom with how much sauce was on them. The beer was delicious. I celebrated my birthday as a private event at Tupps. We reserved the patio off building two and had food and Tupps drinks catered. I was blown away at how amazing our experience was. I worked with Hasan to plan my event, and he was very patient with all my questions throughout the process. Reid was our bartender and kept the drinks flowing and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we started to set up until we were packing up. Any questions we had, he was on it to solve our problems and to make sure we were taken care of. I cannot express what a great time we had and all the guests loved the food and atmosphere. If you're looking to hold an event at a brewery, Tupps is the one to pick, not only for the price (one of the best deals in DFW in terms of food, drink, and location) but also for the fantastic customer service.
