I really enjoyed my burger and fries and so did my husband. We don't live around here but wanted something filling after hitting some of the wineries here. Great town, great burger!

Stopped in here for a quick dinner and would 100% come back again based on the burgers and the staff. Ordered "The Texas" which is wagyu beef with white cheddar, jalapeño, carmelized onion, bacon and a very flavorful BBQ sauce. Big thumbs up. The service was great as well. It's a dark pub with a fun atmosphere, would like to go again and try out some of the beers...but will show up hungry again next time so I don't miss out on another great burger.

Great bartenders! Great whiskey spot for whiskey lovers! The bartenders were helpful and knowledgeable!

Cool little place on the square. Was having my car repaired at a dealership not far away so we drove to Historic Downtown McKinney to check out the stores and grab a bite. The pub was more our style so we popped in and my wife had a beer and we ordered the fried pickles which were very thin but tasty and lightly battered. We will go back and get lunch at sometime. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Soooo took my very sexy pumpkin out for happy hour. They have all the basic bar grub but it was really yummy. The place has a great vibe and downtown McKinney is real pretty in the evenings. There were lots of tables and a game room area and the regulars seemed to be active in those areas. We will def be back!!!

Nice town and great place! Patrick and Darcy were excellent and very helpful with our choices, atmosphere is very family friendly and very spacious. We ordered the Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries, delicious for sure!

You have to seat yourself - there were enough vacant tables to pick from. Within a few minutes, our server was over and helped us narrow down on what we wanted to order. I went for a Crushed Velvet Mule in addition to Cali, Buffalo (both grilled versions) and Burg B Q. We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.

They also make great house salads, always fresh and the dressing is made in house and we all enjoy it. The prices for beer are good as well. They have game day special and even without the special $6.50 for an IPA pint is a solid price. We had the chocolate cake twice and it is extremely rich and exploding with flavor. My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

I wish people respected other companies property and I understand why big places like this don't invest a lot in games when it gets treated like this. We walked into the bar 90 minutes before kickoff and found a table in the middle of the bar that could accommodate our party and had good viewing of the screens. As we went to sit down, a man approached us and told us that the table we were sitting at was for some "regulars" and asked us to move. The table had no sign on it that it was reserved and this man did not identify himself as an owner or manager of the establishment. Choosing to take the high road, I moved our group to another table that could accommodate our party that was off to the side. Sure enough, the "regulars" came rolling in shortly before kickoff to their "unreserved" reserved table. This is just bad business. And discourages people who are not "regulars" from coming to the bar. I regularly attend a Chicago Bears bar in Los Angeles where I live and have never had such issues. There are no unspoken "reserved" tables for "regulars." It's completely first come, first serve as it should be. If you want your "regulars" to have their table waiting for them when they arrive, just stick a reserved sign on it. Or tell them to get there early. Not difficult. We also waited forever for our drinks while the "regulars" at their "unreserved" reserved table were kept fully stocked. The service and the food was mid anyway and not worth the price. Trust me, I picked up what you were laying down. We aren't regulars, so it's whatever. I won't be back.

So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.
