Silos in Celina is absolutely stunning -- such an impressive investment in the community. The outdoor space, known as The Yard, is centered around the original silos and feels like it was made for long game-day hangs, cocktails under cabanas, and live music nights on the turf. The indoor seating is sleek, and the cigar room adds a fun, classy touch for those who want it. We sat outside and loved every bit of it -- the drinks were flavorful and beautifully garnished, and the food hit the spot. This will definitely become a go-to for locals and to take out of town guests. That said, the soft opening felt very mismanaged. Their website said noon on Sunday, and we had a reservation for 3, but when we arrived early at 2, we were told they were closed until 4 -- and they literally locked the gate behind us. We weren't alone either -- several other guests were milling around confused and frustrated. Eventually, they said they'd open at 3, but when we came back, the gate was still locked. After enough guests showed up and clearly weren't thrilled, they opened up. There were a lot of managers in full suits, which felt a bit mismatched for the laid-back, Texas-modern vibe they're going for. Frankly, if this was any other experience, I'd give it a 2 star based on how I felt we were treated, but am giving some grace for the launch and hoping they work it out since the food and venue are so standout. Love this new addition to the Celina square! We came Saturday night to try this place for the first time. We had reservations for the yard area since it was such a nice day and it didn't disappoint! The yard is such a great place to hang out and enjoy the weather. Big space with lots of tables and even some booths in cabana style pods. There's an outdoor tv to watch sports and turf so no worries about mud or dusty gravel. The drinks were delicious, I had their take on the bee's knees. We ordered two appetizers to share (wagyu meatballs and cheese dip with lump crab) and my friend and I got different salads as entrees while my hubby ordered the pork chop. The wagyu meatballs were a fav, the sauce was delicious and the meatballs were so flavorful. The cheese dip was also really good and if you add the lump crab to it, it's perfect with such a good amount of crab! I had their Cobb salad with chicken, my friend got their Caesar, hubby got the wedge salad and they were all refreshing, crisp, and delicious. The pork chop had great flavors and was cooked perfectly! I hate when restaurants over cook pork and it becomes so dry. This place has it done right. Disappointing Experience: services Dog Refusal Despite Outdoor Seating I was very excited to visit Silos In Celina this Thursday to watch the football game on the projector and support a local business after recently moving to Celina. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the seating being entirely outdoors, the front staff refused entry to my 12-pound service dog. My dog was wearing his harness and his official therapy license ID was clearly visible. I am tempted to see if I can go further and see if this is discrimination against the disabled as well. As a resident who has found the rest of Celina to be incredibly friendly and welcoming so far, this refusal was surprising and frankly, ridiculous. It made what should have been an enjoyable night out very frustrating. It's a shame that a restaurant with such great potential for atmosphere and community viewing would take such an unwelcoming stance, especially considering the outdoor nature of the seating. Food is consistently the same- the filets were cooked to perfection and the switch to 44 farm meats was a great call by the owner awhile back. Service was impeccable as usual and "the new guy" in the cigar lounge was helpful and was inquisitive to learn from the customer. A Sophisticated New Spot in Celina Worth Trying! We recently visited The Silos in Celina (the restaurant) for a date night. My husband made reservations in advance, and everything went smoothly. As locals who have lived in Celina for over three years, we're familiar with the area, and this new restaurant near the square brings a welcome touch of sophistication and, dare I say, a hint of Dallas charm (spoken as a true Dallas girl) to our small town scene. Parking was easy for us that evening, though I can imagine it might be more difficult to find on a busy weekend given the location near the square and train tracks. Parking is in a gravel space so those with little high heels beware. We arrived on time, were promptly checked in, and seated at a lovely table near a window. My only critique is that it took about 15 minutes before we were offered water or able to place our drink order. The service still seems to be finding its rhythm but they were very kind. I ordered a Manhattan, which was perfectly balanced and delicious. My husband chose a beer, which unfortunately came in a lukewarm glass, though he still enjoyed it. For appetizers, we shared the Roasted Garlic Cheese Dip featuring mozzarella, parmesan, green onion, rosemary, and grilled sourdough and the TX Twinkie Corn Dog, a creative bite of jalapeño, smoked brisket, cheddar, and bacon, wrapped in cornmeal batte. Both were flavorful and well prepared, and the sourdough in particular tasted fresh. The TX Twinkie was large and paired nicely with their house made ranch and ketchup. We loved it. I enjoyed a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with gem lettuce, bacon lardons, brown butter brioche croutons (so yum), and bacon Caesar dressing. For entrées, my husband had the Achiote Chicken Tacos with shaved cabbage, pico, fire-roasted salsa, and cotija cheese. I also chose the Parmesan Truffle Fries, which completely stole the show for me. Crispy, aromatic, and indulgently seasoned, they were truly the fries of my dreams. I would return just for those. To finish, we shared the Silos Whiskey Cake a cinnamon buttermilk cake with bourbon caramel, blackberry compote, vanilla ice cream, and candied pecans. The ice cream tasted homemade or at least of noticeably high quality. However, the cake itself lacked flavor and there was no bourbon flavor to the caramel. It wasn't something I'd order again. The ambiance felt elevated and refined, a refreshing change for the area. While formal attire isn't necessary, I wouldn't recommend dressing too casually either. Think Texas formal: a nice shirt and jeans, your nice cowboy boots will do just fine. Overall, The Silos is a beautiful addition to Celina's dining scene. With a few refinements to service, it has the potential to become a local favorite. We look forward to returning! read more

This is such a great upscale addition to the Celina/Prosper area - there's nothing else like it! It has a fantastic whiskey bar both in the restaurant and on the second floor. There's a really elegant cigar lounge as well! The food was great and such an awesome place to dine and even enjoy the view from the observation deck at the top of one of the silos! I've been here several times, and it's pretty clear there are some management or operational issues that pop up from time to time. Things don't always run as smoothly as they should. That said, the waitresses I've had are always upbeat, and my girl Baylee especially stands out. She's consistently friendly, attentive, and keeps a great attitude even when the place seems a little chaotic. More importantly, she makes sure you're taken care of and actually enjoying your visit. We visited Silos in Celina for my husband's birthday dinner on a Saturday evening and overall had a really good experience. First off, the space is great, they've done a great job creating a welcoming, open environment with plenty of room to explore and enjoy. Whether you're dining, grabbing a drink, or just walking around, there's a lot to take in. It's definitely a spot where you could spend a couple of hours just soaking in the atmosphere. The food itself was okay, not bad by any means, but not necessarily the highlight of the night either. The service was friendly and everything moved at a nice pace. If you're looking for a nice place with a good vibe, especially for a casual celebration or weekend outing, I'd definitely recommend giving Silos a try. Celina is a city in transition, one of the fastest-growing in the country, and with that growth comes a need for more diverse dining experiences. While downtown Celina has always had its share of charming staples, we've long needed something that delivers a slightly more upscale atmosphere and elevated cuisine without losing the small-town charm that makes downtown special. The Silos have accomplished exactly that. We've been four times now, most recently this past Friday, when they were hosting a private event for over 120 guests. Honestly, I expected that the service or kitchen might be stretched thin. Instead, it was the opposite; service was seamless, food was timely, and our experience felt every bit as attentive as on a quieter evening. From the warm welcome at the hostess stand, to the gentleman who I believe was the GM, to our fantastic server Eva, the hospitality was spot on. The food and drinks match the atmosphere. At last, Celina has a spot for a proper craft cocktail. The steaks and pork chop were both excellent, and the sides complemented the entrées perfectly. What I also love is the flexibility of the space--whether you want an upscale dinner inside, something more casual out on the lawn, or a visit to the cigar bar with its own menu, The Silos offers options for every mood. In some ways, The Silos feels like it doesn't belong in downtown Celina but in truth, it's exactly what we needed. It elevates the dining scene here while still fitting right in with the community. Visited Silos in Celina for an early Friday evening dinner with friends. Made a reservation through their website but upon arrival the hostess couldn't find it, but not to worry we are happy your are here she said and showed me to our table. Staff immediately greeted us with ice waters and gave us the menus and offered a few personal recommendations. Our party tried a couple of cocktails, shishito margarita and a peach smash. Friends said the peach smash with bourbon was so good they had to have a second. The margarita was good however I expected a little more of a kick like the jalapeno margarita. As we are all crazy about crispy brussel sprouts we ordered a dish and oh boy these are GOOD!! Nice and crispy and have a tremendous flavor. Wife said maybe just a little too much balsamic. For mains we have the steak frites, silo stack burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The steak frites was very good, definitely coming back for that again. We opted for the truffle fries seeing it was a Friday night and we felt like splurging a little. Glad we did!! The silo stack burger was very tasty as well however the comments regarding the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was that the chicken was a little chewy. I myself didn't try it but my friend did polish off his plate. We sat inside in the restaurant where there were several tables and a great atmosphere. The bar was full as well. When we left the yard started to fill up as well so you can clearly see this place is going to be a staple of the Celina/Prosper restaurant scene. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the dining room for those looking for a great date night or gathering with friends. PS. Went and met friends on the patio with my wife and kiddo. It was very nice. The food was very flavorful and you could taste the fresher ingredients. Our server was very polite and always appeared when needed like a six sense. The staff was very kind to my 2 y.o. Now, our daughter sat and colored or played next to the table and wasn't running around. So if you are looking for a place for kids to run around this isn't the place. I can't say enough good things about this venue. Went for the first time last night. MAKE A RESERVATION. They give top tier service so they don't overseat guests. The owner, GM, and Manager came by to greet us. They gave a fancy inside room with an amazing menu and an outdoor chill area with a giant screen for football. They have a laid back cigar room and a busy bar with an intense vibe like everyone knows everyone. Valet parking in Celina is unheard of and they even have that. Guys, if you're in Dallas it's worth the trip. The Wagyu meatballs and Nachos were top notch. Again, I could go on forever. Second time here!! They always have my favorite cigar on stack, and the fillet, the burger, the board, the tacos, the chicken sandwich, as well as their salads, are all phenomenal! That's all I've had so far, but I can't wait to have more. There is nothing negative to say about this place. They deserve a five star all the way around. From the bar to the ambience to the service to the food. Everything here was spotless and I think you should see for yourself. They started off a little hit or miss depending on what was ordered but we went tonight and had an awesome meal. The service was top notch and the drinks were on point. We had the brussels, garlic cheese dip and shrimp cocktail for apps. For mains we had airline chicken which was really the star of the show. So moist and flavorful. Steak frites, the smash burger, the pork chop, etc, simply flawless. Drinks were on point, dirty martinis, grapefruit creamsicle, and cosmos. Very mid in food and preparation of drinks for the cost of it. We sat outside and ambiance was nice until train passed. It quickly became hot outside and swarming with mosquitos. Our food took close to an hour to come out so this was the downfall of the experience. We ordered the filet mignon, pizza, and fish and chips. Fish and chips were not good. Pizza was ok. The filet was not cooked the way he requested but was good. For drinks we ordered an old fashioned and expresso martini which were both prepared eh ok. Overall, this was an ok experience. If I could give a 3.5, I would because overall the ambiance, staff, food in the restaurant, yard, rooftop were great. I'm docking 1.5 literally how a staff member in the cigar room was. So let me break it down by area - Started at the restaurant, was packed but our waitress was attentive and gave good recs. Also was very communicative when busy and came back to walk us through how the property is laid out and where to explore. Brussels were great & so was the Mac n' cheese. Our drinks were tasty and strong. Would definitely come back for this. Upstairs there is overflow seating and a balcony, stairs also to lead you to a higher area in the silos. Beautiful view & the bartender was friendly & chatted up a bit. Also knew boundaries and when to give space when we move outside. Drinks were consistently good out here as well. Would definitely come back just for the outdoor vibes and drinks. Also manyyyyyy TVs on the property to watch any sports we wanted. Finally, wanted to end the night in the cigar room. Good selection of cigars & ambiance was good on entry. Here's where things went downhill. One bartender (male) was hustling. Literally running through the whole cigar room, super kind, and trying to help / take care of guests where he could. The other bartender (female) focused on one male the entire time, despite him having someone with him: he was a pretty chatty Cathy too so idk if she didn't know how to pull away or what. But literally stood there for 30+ minutes trying to get her attention and it was very evident that she was feigning like she couldn't hear us. I initially asked for water while I looked at the menu and it never came. The only guests thereafter served by her were the older white males. Finally my husband loudly said "excuse me" and she barely acknowledged us. Thankfully the male bartender came and asked us how we wanted our cigars and she finally put in our drink order AFTER he asked us how we wanted our cigars cut. No sense of urgency or care. And she only catered to a specific crowd / person. Anyway, I feel for the male bartender in the cigar room - shout out to him for hustling. Wish we had him from the beginning & this spot has a lot of potential to grow. I would move that girl from the cigar room because that's a heavy hitter area and if she's schmoozing only one customer at a time - the other bartender & the venue may be losing out on more. I know most people would think haters only post but this is my first very critical review of a person or aspect of a restaurant. I genuinely hope to see this place grow based on most of the aspects but I hope that bartender changes the attitude or placement here - left a bitter taste to the end of our night. read more

The place is very cute and clean! The hostess was very sweet and friendly and the atmosphere is unique. The place has great potential and just needs some pointers. There was only a signature drink menu and we could only get a wine menu (upon request)- no bourbon or beer menu could be found by our waitress even though the place was not busy.
