I can't believe we haven't left a review for The Red Feather already. This is easily a five-star spot in Melissa and one of our favorites to visit. The atmosphere has a very upscale feel while still being comfortable and welcoming. They offer a great variety of cocktails, beer, and wine, making it a perfect place for a casual night out, date night, or a place to relax with friends. Their food options are also impressive, with everything from small bites and finger foods to more filling dinner options. This is great because the staff is always so kind and welcoming. Red Feather was such a vibe. The weather was perfect for sitting out on the patio, the service was amazing, and my mocktail was both beautiful and delicious. The charcuterie board was WAY bigger than I expected and honestly big enough to share as a meal next time. I ordered the Sweet Thai Chili Chicken Flatbread and really liked the flavor, but they were definitely generous with the sauce. It made the flatbread a little soggy, even after trying to crisp up the leftovers in the air fryer. Same thing with the hot honey flatbread I ordered to-go for my boyfriend. Everything tasted great, I'd just ask for the sauces on the side next time. Overall, I'd absolutely go back. Great atmosphere, great food, and now I know exactly how I'd order next visit. read more

Wonderful spot to meet up with friends. The food is amazing. My favorites are the prosciutto and fig crostinis and the chicken cordon blue bites. The charcuterie boards are also wonderful. A friend suggested this place for a lunch spot post church service. I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was. The ambiance was nice and relaxing AND KID FRIENDLY. I love that they have a large wine selection and little activities on the patio for my little one. Our server was Justice and she was so tentative and sweet. We found this driving on our way home. I am a vegetarian so I have to scope out menus of places to eat. We are so happy we found this eatery located in a cluster of fast food places. It had delicious food and as we had come during their happy hour on a Saturday afternoon (3 -pmish), their warm ciabatta bread with dipping sauce was only $3! That appetizer was scrumptious! We had the Hawaiian flatbread and veggie flatbread. So good! Our server, Megan, was fast and helpful with the menu and her service was exemplary! We will stop by again! Yum! read more

We come here frequently, so we know the menu well. HOWEVER, after tonight's service, I'll drive a little farther into McKinney for charcuterie. We ordered the Mediterranean salad (yummy!) and Rachel's Board. It came out without any crostini (I know the menu says crackers or crostini, but we've ALWAYS received a combo), it also came out with zero jellies/jams/mustard and no olives. After bringing it to the attention of our server, she went to the kitchen and brought back jellies. I asked about the olives, she said it doesn't come with olives (um, read your own menu) and if you want crostini's, it's an extra $3. Mind you this board is already $36. We sent it back. Really liked this place! Met some friends here for happy hour/early dinner. The service and food did not disappoint. We were seated right away. The restaurant is small and intimate, but I think they need a bigger space. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Meat balls were delicious. Chicken flatbread had a lot of flavor. The works flatbread was okay. It was a little soggy and fell apart. Meat and cheese board had great presentation. Overall, great experience for a fair price. My husband ordered a sandwich with side salad and said it was ok. My first experience here was walking in and the servicer had me standing to be seated a good 5 minutes while she delivered food to a table and stood and visited until walking away from them. The restaurant is not busy so she could have suggested I take a seat where I like.... The server wearing "home" wear body suit that in my opinion is not work attire! The place was not at all busy on a Sunday afternoon. They offer happy hour from 2-6pm daily .The server was attentive and quick , she made sure to check on us on how we are doing. I ordered the chicken Piccata Panini and I thought it was kind of meh ...a bit bland for me . I also had lasagna soup which I was okay ( almost not a soup just lasagna with just more sauce ). My son had the MUFFULETTA (Chopped Olives, Salami & Canadian Bacon, Garlic, Onion, Bell Pepper, Pepperoncini, Olive Oil & Gruyere Cheese) , he liked it but a bit spicy for me. Unexpected Gem! Found this place while traveling home from Dallas. We had ciabatta bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was fresh and delicious. Husband and I both ordered flatbreads. He had the works and I had the Tres Carne. The hot honey drizzle wasn't too hot, but was flavorful and delectable. The flatbread was also clearly fresh. We've never had flatbread pizzas that were this good! We stuck with water but I also tried a cherry lime craft soda, also wonderful. I then saw other pours given to tables around us that were much more generous pours of at least 6-8 ounces. My husband ordered a martini that had hardly any alcohol and mostly olive juice. Found this little gem tucked inside the City of Celinas. This is a Wine Bar, that utilizes the latest technology of preserving wine after they are opened. This allows them to provide their customers a greater selection of wine flights and by the glass. This is a great place to come relax, sip some wines and munch of some appetizers. We stopped in the other night and found a very busy place. There was no host available for several Minutes so we wandered around and found a table. After twenty minutes of no one coming to our table for our orders, someone finally showed up. Our orders we're taken. We ordered beer, and it was served in a warm pint glass at near room temperature. No good. We then Ordered food and we're only brought one of our two meals. After about twenty minutes waiting for the second meal to arrive, we stopped a waiter and inquired about our food. No explanation was given, and we waited another twenty minutes for it to arrive. No apology, no explanation, just poor service. Will not return. read more

I ordered the chicken pesto panini , the server told me I had an option of chips or side salad as my side , I ordered Caesar salad. Same with my husband , he ordered a panini , told he can choose a side salad. Our paninis came out with hardly any protein, my panini had maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken , it was all bread my husbands panini had also very little protein. The check comes and there is an up charge of $3 for each side salad. The waiter never said anything about it being extra for salad. Very poor communication, don't say I can choose from 2 options without let me option 2 has a $3 up charge . Also , be generous with your proteins, generosity goes a long way.
