The drinks are a bit pricey and the bar is usually understaffed on weekends as it can take a long time to order and receive a drink. Also, I think the bar should be able to validate a valet ticket, especially when one drink can cost $25. The food is typical bar food. Nothing stands out here as unique or exceptional. I come here for the ambiance. That said, the outdoor area is fabulous. I love the views and sitting by the fire pits on a chilly night. However, in the summer, spring and fall, when it is hot outside, I do not understand why the fire pits are on! No one wants to sit by a fire when it's 80+ degrees. I'm sure it looks cozy and nice from the hotel rooms, but it is not practical. Last weekend a few of my friends met there and we sat outside. We saw 6 mice running around very close to us. I understand this place is in what used to be a field, but at a 5-star hotel, I expect better rodent control. A qualified, experienced exterminator could handle this. I am happy that the Omni is so close to my home. Living in Prosper, I am grateful that we finally have a classy place to go.

We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo.
