I think this is a fairly new location! They have a big selection of draft beers which is nice. We went on a friday and they happened to have live music. The pot stickers were amazing and the wings were also good! read more

For starters, its open!! Wanted to try out this location as we've been pleased with the others. Arrived and promptly seated and drinks were brought over. Smaller dining area than other locations, but same if you sat at the bar. Ordered some apps - wings & crispy sprouts, but they ran out (?) so got the boom boom shrimp. Noise level was high as its smaller, service was good. Maybe not our favorite location, but folks its def open!! read more

I asked the bar about the dirty shelves used to store the beer glasses upside-down (see photo)? They told me the health inspector told them to remove the rubber mats as they were illegal? So, I called Food and Safety for Prosper myself to determine what the truth was (I did not mention the bar name; I was just curious? Based on the photo of the shelf, they knew immediately where I was. The nice lady told me She was the one who inspected the bar and she told them to remove the Towels from under the glasses but to put mats down The manager came up to me, asked me "to leave her bar now and never return" LOL. After I left, my friend texted me and said they were frantically removing all the glasses, washing them all and putting down proper, ventilated mats under the glasses Being banned from the bar really isn't an issue as I would never want to drink out of those glasses but I would be cautious given the questionable health practices read more

There's some negative reviews but mine was a positive experience! The shrimp was really awesome, tasted great! My partner got the nachos to share with me and those were so good! Overall the food was fine, service was a little slow but it was a weekend, be patient. Things come up, but they were friendly, and the vibe was great too. read more

I was wondering why this place was so dead on a Sunday afternoon. Then I learned. It's the service. Not even sure if our server realized we left after being there for so long without even having our drink order taken. read more

We walked in and told by bartender to sit anywhere. It was not busy. We waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. The waitstaff walked by us 4 times without even looking at us. The last straw was when the waiter walked by us and went to sit at a table on the patio to talk with his friends. We will never go back. Too many other places with WAY BETTER service to put up with that. Hope they wake up soon or they'll never last. HORRIBLE experience. read more

I know this location is pretty new, but it needs work. Service was rather slow when it wasn't even that busy, burger was decent and loaded fries were good. Definitely feel like it's not as good as other locations, but hopefully this location can get the ball rolling on being up to standards. Overall it was a decent experience but nothing more, nothing less. read more

Service was good . Food was OK we ordered chips and cheese dip, the chips were so so and the dip was too runny. Ordered potstickers, bang bang shrimp and wings. Then was told they were out of potstickers and pizza so ordered another order of wings. Not the best of either but good. read more

The burgers here are very good, along with the appetizers. Our waitress was fine, and food came out quickly. They have several evenings with entertainment like karaoke or trivia that we will come back to try out. read more

Absolutely love this place! We have been coming here for about a year while we were looking for locations to relocate the business to Texas and settled in here as the business will be in Little Elm serving areas such as Prosper & Celina as we live in Celina and we look forward to many more years coming into this fine establishment! Great happy hours ! (All day on Tuesday!) and the food is amazing! Chips and Queso! The wings! Burgers are bomb too! Can't wait to come in more! read more

We went into this place yesterday to Watch Thursday night football. They have a bunch of TV's with the game on and a few TV's with some kind of trivia game. The game was beyond loud with music and questions we couldn't even focus on the game. We walked out of course and won't be back. Our server was nice but we could barely hear him too. This isn't a sports bar, it's just a loud space with food, everyone looked annoyed in there. read more

Tim was excellent, fast service recommended his favorite bourbon which the brass tap had many options, I had I had the fried macaroni and cheese bites, which were delicious. The ambience was amazing with live music on a Friday night. For the Entree I had fish and chips which were fresh read more

Service was absolutely terrible. They were out of five of the beers I wanted on tap. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. The food had no flavor. I ordered the salad with crispy chicken and it came with grilled chicken. Everyone was finished eating by the time my food came. They charged extra for the ranch on my salad. The wings had straight franks red hot sauce. Will not go back! I so wanted to find a local spot that had great food, beer and service. Brass Tap is not it!! read more

Another review by Zabby Dabby Do! This is a hidden gem... small quaint, great appetizers and tons of beer on tap. What I love... they have a lot of non-alcoholic drink mixers. This makes going places with people who can't or choose not to drink have more options. I LOVE that! Our server was great, lots of televisions and an outdoor patio seating section. Flat bread was ok, tacos were ON POINT and. The appetizers were awesome! read more

Cinco De Mayo my birthday and I normally stay home to avoid all the drinkers celebrating however my buddy is in town from Baltimore and he wanted to go out. The place is huge and we got there early so it was empty. We sat at the bar and we were greeted and helped immediately. The gentleman helping us was friendly and gave several Suggestions on beers to try. My buddy and I both ordered a flight each. The beers were solid, I had two stouts and two IPA's. I'm not much of a drinker so I was feeling mine pretty quickly. I started a conversation with a lady at the bar and the gentleman heard me tell her it was my birthday. He surprised me with a dessert, which I thought was awesome. I'll absolutely be back and will recommend this place to everyone I know. First class place all the way read more

We were looking for a good tap house for a couple local brews to celebrate my birthday. We each ended up having 3 beers because we were enjoying ourselves, the environment, and the brews. The fries were also good crinkle cut fries though heavily over salted. We sat along the bar looking at the vast number of taps. Behind us was a mix of high tops and low top tables, along with an outdoor patio area. The service was friendly, though a bit slow to get service between drinks to order another. read more

Brass Tap has an excellent selection of beers on tap. We sat at the bar and is a great place to watch football on the weekend. Every game was on. We enjoyed the chips & salsa and buffalo cauliflower. My boyfriend and I came here and weren't super impressed. I guess our waitress got off shift during our dining so there was one guy running all the tables and it took forever to get anything we asked for because of that. I had the chicken bacon wrap and it was incredibly dry. The alcohol wasn't fantastic either though we didn't drink much. I think they have tons of potential but their table waiting is not fantastic. read more

Great place for hanging out even on weekdays. They have trivia nights on Thursday's. We stopped by for dinner. Ordered hefe and chips with Queso. BBq bacon burger and chicken club wrap. amazing service! Justin is awesome so is Sydney we got well taken care of by Bri and Claire we had a blast!

I love going here on Trivia Night! Music trivia is hilarious because you see everyone holding up their phones and smart watches trying to Shazam it. Food is so good although the wings are usually dry and I love basically all their blonde beer selections. Specifically the 805. If you aren't too into IPAs and want a beer that one is the one to choose as it doesn't have that super hoppy twist to it. Ambiance is perfect Irish pub type vibes imo too. read more

Perched on the top of a drift on Preston Road, right before Prosper Trail is Brass Tap, the place for locals to catch a pint, sing some karaoke and play some games( they have plenty of game night during the week). It is also a good spot for a pint and good food. On this fine day, my friend and I elected to partake if Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza and some garlic Parmesan wings. We placed our order and the food came out about 12 minutes later; piping hot for both and we had to let them sit for a while before we tried to sample. I'll start with the pizza, it is really really good!!! The crust and undercarriage cooked to a perfect crisp and the dough is just thick enough to hold the toppings and thin enough to not be the centerpiece of the pie. The wings are healthy and fired to perfection, tossed in the dry Nashville hot rub, and served with ranch and celery. There decent wings, even good.....but not spectacular. I'd prefer wet wings next time, but these were good. The food cost us under $30 for both and could feed 3 people if not too hungry; it feed to two ravenous big boys who can put away some food. This is my local, so I'll be back to try more stuff on the menu!! read more

The Brass Tap is a fun little restaurant that will appeal to beer enthusiasts and those who enjoy live music. They also have patio seating, though it can get a bit loud with the sounds of traffic passing by. Most of the food here I've tried is tasty, but the menu definitely lacks options for those who are health conscious. It would be great if they would add some additional healthy menu items outside of salads. The staff is always great! If you are having trouble selecting one of the many beer options, the bartenders give great advice and provide samples. read more

I have eaten here 2x, but this time I had to write a review. We went for the Sunday Brunch menu. I had a Bloody Mary and the Sriracha Chicken Biscuits. Bloody Mary- Menu said it came with fresh Celery, olive, Apple Wood Bacon in a Tajin rimed glass. Well I got the olive.... What restaurant sells you a drink that's nothing like the description? Zero Stars for this. Sriracha Chicken Biscuits: Biscuits where so hard they must have been made 2 weeks ago, could not even cut them with a knife. The chicken was very dry and thin and the gravy tasted like nothing.... Almost no flavor....thank for some Sriracha on top. Also our waitress's shirt had holes in it from rubbing on the bar counter... not a big deal but it's a uniform..... hey owner let's get the staff some new shirts then they need them. Overall bad experience..... read more

Service was fast! Placed an online order and it came out quick and fresh. So I cannot say much about service or the environment. But the buffalo wings really impressed me. Price is more than fair for the quality of the food. I go here about once a month! read more

I tried to update my existing review but yelp wants me to download the app & I simply refuse Bayleigh was kind enough to reach out and gracefully offer a remedy for my first experience. The second visit was a complete 180. We were greeted, our server was attentive, suggested her favorites and checked in often. The food was also better. Granted I didnt order the same thing (burger + shrimp) so Im not 100% if the flavor profile would have improved, but the wings & hot honey pizza were tasty. Margarita flight too! Mac & cheese balls? insane. Even reheated in the air fryer they are still 10/10 read more

This was my first time coming here, but we'll for sure be back! For an appetizer we got the trio. It's 2 types of salsa and 1 queso with chip. The green salsa has som jalapeños in it which I like for a kick. For my enteree I got the single sweet hear BBQ burger. SO GOOD! It has the right amount of heat but not too spicy. It also comes with string fried onions on it. My side I got their tater tots which were awesome. I hate when they come unseasoned but Brass Tap seasons these well. Well come back for sure! read more

This place is great! What a nice little gem. Came here past Monday to watch the 2020 NCAA College Championship and this place did not disappoint. Atmosphere - 5/5 - Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. This craft beer place has more than just beer. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to help me pick out new beers. Food/Drink - 5/5 - Ordered the following: Petitcolas Wintervention - 5/5 - This beer was smoother than most. This is a 10 pt beer. Not for the weak. Strawberry Wheatness - 5/5 - Fan of wheat beer? Highly recommend. Great wheat beer with a hint of strawberry. Martin House Little Red - 5/5 - This blood colored sour Ale was my go to. This is a super strong beer (12.4%). Definitely a must try. Pretzels - 5/5 - Bite Sized pretzels with white queso. Great with the beers. Chicken Nachos - 5/5 - Massive portion. Great beer food. Wings - 4/5 - Buffalo flavored. The wings were pretty good, but I wished it was spicier. However, still good nonetheless. Overall, I am a pretty big fan of this place and will be going time and time again. They also have a great happy hour. Check out my pics! read more

I just stopped in for the first time, just moved to the area, the place was quite empty, there was nobody at the bar besides my friend and I, and one other girl (I did not know). We ordered some Mac and cheese bites, maybe 15 minutes went by, kinda thought maybe they were taking a sec, when the bartender, again only 3 guests at the bar, walks up to us and says "did you guys want to order any food?" ‍ whatever we just left but not a great first experience. read more

This place has pretty good drinks. Nice priced, I have not had the food but next time I will have to try it out!

Great patio, good food, service is hit or miss and we always wish their food was a little less salty and they offered cold glasses for beer.
