I asked the bar about the dirty shelves used to store the beer glasses upside-down (see photo)? They told me the health inspector told them to remove the rubber mats as they were illegal? So, I called Food and Safety for Prosper myself to determine what the truth was (I did not mention the bar name; I was just curious? Based on the photo of the shelf, they knew immediately where I was. The nice lady told me She was the one who inspected the bar and she told them to remove the Towels from under the glasses but to put mats down The manager came up to me, asked me "to leave her bar now and never return" LOL. After I left, my friend texted me and said they were frantically removing all the glasses, washing them all and putting down proper, ventilated mats under the glasses Being banned from the bar really isn't an issue as I would never want to drink out of those glasses but I would be cautious given the questionable health practices read more

I know this location is pretty new, but it needs work. Service was rather slow when it wasn't even that busy, burger was decent and loaded fries were good. Definitely feel like it's not as good as other locations, but hopefully this location can get the ball rolling on being up to standards. We walked in and told by bartender to sit anywhere. It was not busy. We waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. The waitstaff walked by us 4 times without even looking at us. We went into this place yesterday to Watch Thursday night football. They have a bunch of TV's with the game on and a few TV's with some kind of trivia game. The game was beyond loud with music and questions we couldn't even focus on the game. We walked out of course and won't be back. Our server was nice but we could barely hear him too. Cinco De Mayo my birthday and I normally stay home to avoid all the drinkers celebrating however my buddy is in town from Baltimore and he wanted to go out. The place is huge and we got there early so it was empty. We sat at the bar and we were greeted and helped immediately. The gentleman helping us was friendly and gave several Suggestions on beers to try. My buddy and I both ordered a flight each. The beers were solid, I had two stouts and two IPA's. We were looking for a good tap house for a couple local brews to celebrate my birthday. We each ended up having 3 beers because we were enjoying ourselves, the environment, and the brews. The fries were also good crinkle cut fries though heavily over salted. We sat along the bar looking at the vast number of taps. I love going here on Trivia Night! Music trivia is hilarious because you see everyone holding up their phones and smart watches trying to Shazam it. Food is so good although the wings are usually dry and I love basically all their blonde beer selections. Specifically the 805. Perched on the top of a drift on Preston Road, right before Prosper Trail is Brass Tap, the place for locals to catch a pint, sing some karaoke and play some games( they have plenty of game night during the week). It is also a good spot for a pint and good food. On this fine day, my friend and I elected to partake if Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza and some garlic Parmesan wings. We placed our order and the food came out about 12 minutes later; piping hot for both and we had to let them sit for a while before we tried to sample. I'll start with the pizza, it is really really good!!! The crust and undercarriage cooked to a perfect crisp and the dough is just thick enough to hold the toppings and thin enough to not be the centerpiece of the pie. The wings are healthy and fired to perfection, tossed in the dry Nashville hot rub, and served with ranch and celery. There decent wings, even good.....but not spectacular. I'd prefer wet wings next time, but these were good. The food cost us under $30 for both and could feed 3 people if not too hungry; it feed to two ravenous big boys who can put away some food. Zero Stars for this. Sriracha Chicken Biscuits: Biscuits where so hard they must have been made 2 weeks ago, could not even cut them with a knife. The chicken was very dry and thin and the gravy tasted like nothing.... Almost no flavor....thank for some Sriracha on top. Also our waitress's shirt had holes in it from rubbing on the bar counter... not a big deal but it's a uniform..... hey owner let's get the staff some new shirts then they need them. This was my first time coming here, but we'll for sure be back! For an appetizer we got the trio. It's 2 types of salsa and 1 queso with chip. The green salsa has som jalapeños in it which I like for a kick. For my enteree I got the single sweet hear BBQ burger. SO GOOD! It has the right amount of heat but not too spicy. Atmosphere - 5/5 - Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. This craft beer place has more than just beer. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to help me pick out new beers. Food/Drink - 5/5 - Ordered the following: Petitcolas Wintervention - 5/5 - This beer was smoother than most. This is a 10 pt beer. Not for the weak. Strawberry Wheatness - 5/5 - Fan of wheat beer? Highly recommend. Great wheat beer with a hint of strawberry. Martin House Little Red - 5/5 - This blood colored sour Ale was my go to. This is a super strong beer (12.4%). Definitely a must try. Pretzels - 5/5 - Bite Sized pretzels with white queso. Great with the beers. Chicken Nachos - 5/5 - Massive portion. Great beer food. Wings - 4/5 - Buffalo flavored.
