We had such a wonderful dinner at Salute Italian Restaurant in Prosper. Tien was our waiter and he truly made the whole experience special. He was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, and took such great care of us throughout the evening. Tien recommended several red wines for us and they were all delicious. The calamari was excellent, and we especially loved the handmade butter. We also tried the spaghetti bolognese with vodka sauce based on Tien's recommendation, and it was honestly out of this world. The chocolate dessert was just as amazing and the perfect way to end our dinner. We loved sitting on the patio and really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibes here. We left so happy with everything, especially the wonderful service from Tien. We will definitely be back many, many more times. Thank you, Tien, for making our evening so memorable! read more

Extremely disappointing. We've eaten here quite a few times, but we'll never return. At a table for 5, 3 of our entrees were forgotten; the server tried to deliver something we didn't order. After at least a 10-minute wait, the 2 missing entrees arrived, but those of us who had our food were forced to eat before our food got cold. Almost NO apology from our server, whose service was lackluster and totally devoid of any concern for the messed-up food order. No compensation for the messed-up order. Food was average at best; the crabcakes were all breading and almost no crabmeat. Overall, an overpriced experience. We won't return. read more

Randomly stopped here due to the pictures- the food looked so good! Our waitress was nice and prompt when taking our order. The interior features a few fake trees and gave off a nice vibe, we really liked it! I gave 4 stars due to the pasta, I'm pretty particular about texture when it comes to noodles and the pappardelle fell a little short for me. After an unfortunate experience at a Prosper Gates seafood restaurant our family of 6 ventured here Friday night. They served us promptly at our last minute OpenTable reservation time. The service by Ricardo was professional and friendly. While the Negroni's were well prepared, the Lobster Raviolis, Lasagna and Chicken Francese were delicious. Thanks for a lovely family evening. We recently went to this amazing place after attending a funeral of a dear loved one. The ambiance and environment here are so welcoming. It's like walking into your Italian grandmas kitchen and all the greats like the Godfather, Al Pacino, and other greats with Italian heritage are all over the walls. We had arranged to have a meal catered. The tables were set to perfection. It was amazing. We had arranged to have salad, 2 different breads, angel hair spaghetti, meatballs, and penne pasta with vodka sauce. The waiter had both red and white wine ready for us. He was super friendly and was so so gracious! I personally asked for a moscato and another family member a vodka straight. He graciously grabbed those for us quickly. After an absolutely amazing lunch, all you heard was, "OMG" "That was amazing!" and others to rave about this place. We even got cappuccinos after..... Y'ALLLLLLLLLLL.... This was the second time I've been to this restaurant and unfortunately, it was not very good this time around. I was craving the veal piccata since it was delicious the first time but this time the sauce was very runny and didn't really even have any flavor to it. I asked for the sauce to be put on my pasta and I don't know if they didn't drain the pasta noodles enough or what happened but it was almost like eating pasta with a water sauce. Absolutely love this place. We've been 3 times now and each time was fantastic. The ambiance and atmosphere in here is romantic and beautiful. Our service has been consistently great. The focaccia to start is delicious and my favorite entree so far has been the pesto tortellini but I've tried something different each time and everything has been wonderful. Wow! And it takes a lot for me to write "Wow!" Had dinner here this evening. First time since we have been back since it was Eddie Napoli's. Well, what an absolute outstanding improvement! From the moment the bread came and through every course, my wife and I looked at each other after each new bite from an appetizer through dessert and just grinned like two giddy children. Every single bite was delicious and our drinks were fabulous. We started with the calamari, fried to perfection. For our entrees, I had the Pesto Tortellini and my beautiful wife had the Chicken Francese. Both were perfect! The drinks were on point, as well! I would review the desserts, cannolis and cheesecake. However, we were so full from all the food we haven't had the ability to consume these yet. But, damn they look good and smell even better! The server was very nice and attentive and the Manager stopped by and chatted with us to let us know about the history of the family-owned restaurant and some of their menu items that she recommended. We have been here twice and on both occasions it has been exceptional. The ambiance is very Italian with crooners like Frank Sentra playing in the back ground. On this occasion, our waiter Ruben, was excellent. No rush, gave great suggestions, and was always there when you needed him. 4 of us went to dinner. 3 enjoyed their meals. Me? I won't go back. Service was great but do not order caprese salad unless you ask for much more dressing. It was as dry as could be. The eggplant parmigiana was absolutely inedible. They don't peel the skin off and don't cook it enough to make it soft! You can't eat it! On top of that when you could cut through the skin the majority of the eggplant was tough, chewy and disgusting. I simply did not eat it. The waitress offered to replace it so I agreed to meatballs. When served they didn't even bring a full serving! Their appetizer has 3 meatballs of a medium size and I was served 2! The sauce had an odd under-taste as well- maybe rosemary? All in all I'd say DO NOT try this place. It is significantly OVERPRICED and when any item menu is absolutely inedible it doesn't pay to try any others. Kiki the Owner is super rude! Bread was cold . She said her Alfredo has never been complained about. My Alfredo was like eating noodles in a soup, the sauce did not cling to the noodles, it was the worst experience ever. I'm Italian from New York.
