    Empanadas
    Mary Lynn J.

Wonderfully delicious food! I had the specials: empanadas (totally awesome and huge and it comes with a serving of three) along with the Mexican pork stew. The stew had tons of pork and just the right amount of kick! Our waiter was helpful, held the door for us (I was with a friend who uses a walker), explained the special very well. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. We will be back,

Yummy Texas Pina Colada. Everything here is good. I had the empanadas today but forgot to take a picture

I've been coming here for several years, and I'm never disappointed! Service is always top notch, and if you run into any issues they are happy to make it right. Food is amazing and always tastes great! Favorites Appetizers Cheese Curds (dipping sauce is to die for) Philly Dippers Empanadas Dirty Fries Nacho Taters Favorite Entrees Risotto(amazing with steak or chicken) Pot Roast Burger Tomato Basil Soup is a great choice for a side Any special they have going is always good Lunch options Cuban sandwich Wedge Salad Desserts Chocolate cake (could easily feed 3-4 people) Dessert specials are always good too. Tiramisu, creme brulee, and strawberry cake are some of my favorites that I've had there. Drinks Kickin Margarita (slightly spicy) Smoked Peachy Old Fashioned (my favorite old fashioned I've ever had) Good wine and beer selection They run specials throughout the week and have all day Monday Happy Hour. Karaoke on Thursday is a blast whether you sing or just sit in the audience. Live music on the weekends too is always fun.

Portions are super small and over priced. $13 for 6 wings??!! Look at this tiny portion of linguine Alfredo server on this huge plate. Great atmosphere but food portions are just ridiculous. Sad cause it is really close to the house. Until they change the portions I am out.

What a great local watering hole. My wife and I started coming here pretty frequently and it's a great place to hang out, have a drink and have some good food. The service has always been good and Dean (behind the bar) is awesome! It's not a big place, so it can get a little tight during peak hours (the bar can fill up quick). I've posted several pictures of the food here, everything has been pretty good. My latest favorite meal is the French Dip with the potato dippers (yum!). Great service and food makes for a great hangout for us!

Uncork'd Cocktail and Just Peachy Smoked Old Fashioned

Another great evening at Uncork'd. We love this destination! We intended to sit inside but the musician was exceptionally loud, so we opted for patio dining. The patio is all high tops but we enjoyed it anyway. The weather was lovely! We started out with the Uncork'd Cocktail and the Just Peachy Smoked Old Fashioned. They were both very flavorful and generous with the alcohol. The cheese curds are always a great choice. Fried perfectly and the raspberry jam added just the right amount of sweetness. I had the stuffed chicken and my husband had the Texas heatloaf. Mine was perfectly cooked with a nice sauce. His was very tasty but the meatloaf was dry. Service was good and we had an overall good experience!

    Spinach Dip and Crostinis

I have absolutely nothing bad to say. I went in on my lunch hour at 1 pm, which usually means it's not uncommon to deal with tables that need to be bussed or servers and the kitchen recouping, etc. This place was clean and ready to seat me. Joe took tremendous care of me- I ordered the spinach artichoke dip and Philly cheesesteak panini. I might have overlooked that mushrooms were an ingredient on the sandwich- which was a very rubbery surprise when I wasn't expecting it. But no matter, they're easy to take off. Just not something I saw coming from a Philly. This spinach dip was so unique- I definitely could just order that as an entree. The portion size of both my app and meal were fantastic. Absolutely no way was I eating all of that. It all came out in plenty of time for me to enjoy my meal, box up the rest, check out, and get back to work. They have some wines on tap, and some IPA's that I'd love to come back and enjoy when I'm not in the middle of the work day. There is another location nearer to my house but if I swing by there for the drinks, they already have big shoes to fill. Definitely will be going back and trying other things! Thanks for a great lunch.

Slightly sad Irish Coffee (tasted good, though)

We've been here a few times, and the food is consistently good for the most part. They have a fairly nice outdoor seating area, and we've been seated there on each of our visits. Service is also consistently good. Cocktails seem to be a little hit and miss. A recent Irish coffee order netted a plain coffee cup with no whipped cream on top, but functionally, it was fine, with a definite flavor of Tullamore and coffee. My GF's Cork'd Cupcake fared a little better, but spendy. As for the food, on one visit, the mushroom risotto was tasty to the palate, but it was pretty "saucy", which didn't go over well with everyone. The Texas Heatloaf is my favorite entree, combining two things I love a lot - meatloaf and heat :) A more recent visit produced a slightly more dry example than a previous, but they were both good. The stuffed chicken was phenomenal, though, featuring mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable (asparagus on this visit). Saving the best for last: The fried cheese curds are consistently our favorite dish here. Lightly done in a tempura style batter, they're served with a slightly sweet sauce that complements them well. It's a really great appetizer, and will make you forget about fried mozzarella. This is a pretty good place, but the menu could use a bit of freshening up, both in terms of food and cocktails.

Great clean food, usually very busy/loud, but the patio is nice to get away from all of that. They have real maple syrup!

I was surprised, but they offer Happy Hour even on weekends! Both my hubby and I chose from the Happy Hour menu - a Pinot Noir for him and the Chardonnay for me. I was bummed, the Chard wasn't great and I wasn't planning on having more than a glass. Next time I'd skip the Happy Hour wines and just choose a better wine off the menu. Food. We came here for date night and I was starving. I was surprised to see such a small and limited menu. I think they're limiting themselves by only offering sharable items or single items at such a steep price. I started with Juan's Tostada for myself and my hubby chose the Notorious P.I.G.. The tostada was delicious! Fresh and tasty, but I was still hungry. But for $19 there was no way I was ordering another one. I'm sorry but $40 for two single appetizers is insane, plus I figured I might still be hungry. So instead I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. with no cheese (I'm dairy free). It was good, but not amazing. Half the pizza was burned and the sauce was barely there. As I looked around there was a group of women having a birthday dinner and one other couple who arrived on a date. The couple split a meat + cheese board and left. The birthday party nursed their glasses of wine the entire time we were there. For my disappointment wine, my hubby's two glasses of wine, our two pizzas and my tostada we spent $87 before tip. For a mediocre offering that was insanely expensive. My girlfriends meet up frequently to catch up and I would suggest this place if it was half the cost, but we can go to plenty of places nearby and get a better glass of wine with more affordable food options instead. I don't forsee Wine a Little lasting long in this new development.
