What…read moreimpressed me the most what they use like Diet Coke in glass bottle, really nice tableware, everything made from scratch, unique decoration that make the restaurant warm and cozy. I feel like service could've been a little better. My refill was quite slow but overall service was decent-good. Food... was great but missing a little element here and there (personal opinion). Man, I love the calamari here but it just needs a little seasoning. For the Wagyu, the steak wasn't rest long enough before it was cut (not a big deal) and I personal find potatoes to not complement the steaks well due to both item was quite greasy and oily. I think the steak would've pair better with perhaps mashed potatoes? They nailed the tiramisu (nothing to say about that). Again, food was great. those nick pick just my opinion what would take what I had tonight to a next level. Overall, really nice place for hangout, date. Great food and great people! I will be back to try others dishes.

I think we may have had an off-night on how they handled our reservation. If it weren't for that, I'd give them a 5! Food: I got the Pappardelle, my wife got the fettucine. Both were among the best we've tasted in Dallas, even compared to our current favorite Roman Cucina. We've been told to also order the brick oven half chicken and the duck, which we'll come back for. Drinks: well presented. The old fashioned had the spherical big cube, and was on the sweet side. My wife had the passion fruit juice, which had very strong flavor (preferred...you can always water it down if you need to). Ambience: beautiful & posh inside. Elegant casual outside. Once you're in, it's hard to remember that you're in a shopping center - everything from the entrance to the restrooms have a beautiful aesthetic. Service: We had a reservation indoors, but when we got there (on-time), we were told there was a 15-20 min wait unless we were willing to sit outside. It was a little bit before prime time, so we were a little surprised. We ended up taking the outdoor seating, and the weather got a little too chilly after sundown. On another day, this would have been perfectly fine (or maybe preferred)...but we figured the point of a reservation was to have the seat we wanted if we showed up on time. That said, Tania (our waitress) was great - humorous, attentive, open with her feedback on the dishes (it was our first time). All in all, a solid recommend for Italian food in N Dallas!

The Common Table (DFW Area)…read more How Did We Get Here? Somewhere between "just grabbing a bite" and curating a whole vibe... you realize not every table is common. And this one? Understood the assignment. I landed at The Common Table looking for something easy--but what I got was an experience that felt intentional, social, and just elevated enough to make you stay longer than planned. Let's get into it. The Atmosphere: Indoor-outdoor energy with a patio that breathes. Dim lighting, soft conversation, a little buzz--but never overwhelming. It's giving: date night, business casual meet-up, or "let's decompress after a long day" energy. The Menu: Extensive--but not chaotic. From elevated comfort food to curated cocktails, it's clear this place is designed for options and experience. This isn't fast dining--it's stay a while dining. The Crowd: A mix of professionals, creatives, and people who understand that where you go matters just as much as what you order. Translation? You're in the right room. The Experience: Easy flow. Good pacing. The kind of place where conversation lingers and no one is rushing you out the door. And honestly... that's rare. Final Thought: If you're anywhere near DFW and looking for a space that balances elevated without trying too hard--this is your move. Because sometimes the best places aren't the loudest... they're the ones that feel right the moment you walk in. And somehow, some way... we ended up exactly where we were supposed to be. -- How Did We Get Here?

Both were flavorful, and the sauces had a nice kick. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, which tasted good, but the pasta was overcooked. The same issue came up with my daughter's mac and cheese. With how saucy both dishes were, an al dente noodle would have been better, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was good, and everyone else enjoyed their meals. The real highlight was the music bingo happening during our visit. We played, won a round, and walked away with a $25 gift card, so we'll definitely be back to try other items.
