They come by to make sure your glass isn't empty and bring the food fast. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Salsa & Chips - 4/5 - Nothing fancy here. Just eat these until you get thirsty. - Peaks Sampler - 5/5 - Everything frmo tenders to pickles, this thing has everything. - Mini beef tacos - 5/5 - I love these, and especially during HH. Peaks is great because they always have daily drink specials and a great HH. They have alot of specials, and so I cannot list them out. I recently visited a Twin Peaks in Nashville & decided to try this location as it is closest to me. We dined in Friday after work & we had an awesome server, Cameron. She was patient, friendly, & attentive. We ordered the loaded fries & man were they delicious!! The only con was the amount of fries, i definitely feel that there should've been more for the price. I ordered breaded buffalo wings & it would've been perfect had I remembered to order the wings cooked hard. I'll remember that for next time. My hubby ordered the brisket burger & enjoyed it, the jalapeños gave it a pleasant kick! Amaretto Sours were on special that day, I ordered two & they were fantastic! Last night, my family of five went to Twin Peaks in McKinney for the first time. We were seated, and while we waited for my husband and the other two kids to arrive, my daughter ordered Fried Pickles as an appetizer. I asked my husband to get the menus since we hadn't received any. When he went to the front to ask, they informed him that the menus were out. I found that quite odd, so we had to look up the menu on our cell phones to decide what we wanted to order. My husband ordered the kid's meal of chicken tenders very clearly for our son. When it was time to check out and pay the bill, my husband checked our order and said something didn't seem right. I wanted to double-check, so I looked over the order as well. I noticed an extra charge of 69 cents for ranch dressing for the fried pickles, but my daughter hadn't requested extra ranch. I let that go, but then I saw that my son's kid meal was charged at the full amount of $11.99 for an adult meal, which was incorrect. I checked and confirmed that my son received three chicken fingers and fries with one ketchup, which is a kid's meal. When my husband informed the waitress, she responded with a bit of an attitude, claiming that she had given him an adult meal. My husband clarified that we ordered a kid's meal for our son, emphasizing that it wasn't her decision to dictate what we ordered. Eventually, she corrected the charge to reflect the kid's meal price. Overall, the service was not great, and we decided it wasn't worth returning. This will be our last visit! It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us, so be sure to check your receipt before you leave. read more

First visit at this location. Great service and we like the menu as there are things other than wings if that's what you're looking for. The blackened fish tacos were very good and portion was huge. I took left overs home. It's a sports bar vibe and they have good drink specials. If you are offended by women in skimpy clothing (their underwear), then this restaurant won't be for you. This city is growing rapidly, and there are many restaurants near my home. Tonight(Mar.05.2026) we chose this one, but we were incredibly unlucky. We waited almost 25 minutes for a beer, and when we asked the manager to inquire, he got angry and took away all our food plates. We felt utterly humiliated. What kind of customer service is this? I visited the Twin Peaks at 3750 W University Dr, McKinney, TX on 1/19/26 to watch the College Football National Championship between Indian and Miami. The game was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the bartenders working the counter were attentive and friendly. I had no complaints about the service from them. I enjoy the setup as far as how many TVs they have and the level of acceptable noise. What soured the night was an interaction involving a Floor Team Lead. I was seated between two other guests, both of whom were fun to watch the game with. One of them had a larger tab and paid cash on his second check. The bartender didn't immediately return his change, and he had to ask for it. She brought it back right away, so no real harm done, but he mentioned it because the usual practice is to ask whether the guest wants change back. He had definitely had a bit to drink, but he was calm, polite, and simply voiced a concern. When he mentioned it to someone who appeared to be a Floor Team Lead--the only male employee I noticed on duty--the response was surprisingly rude, sarcastic, and unnecessarily confrontational, actually a bit aggressive. It was unprofessional and completely out of step with the otherwise positive service we'd received. Everyone has an off day, but there's no reason for a manager or team lead to speak to customers that way. No table touching by management either. Won't be back nor my friends- this place is doomed if this continues. If you're there for the girls to be rude in bikinis this your spot. I went to try the new Twin Peaks that opened after closing the one close to my house. The new restaurant is about 5 minutes further away. The new location is brand new and very clean and large. It has a massive amount of TVs so you can't miss any sporting event you should hope to see while you are there. I went because they have some very tasty and healthy dishes so it is actually good for a diet. I especially like the Grilled Salmon. It is always perfectly grilled crispy with a fantastic covering of butter and seasoning. The lemon garlic pilaf was really salty when i went but attributed it to the fact they just opened and working out the kinks. It is super low calorie and there are worse carbs to eat than the pilaf. I also like the steak salad a lot. If you love beer they have two of their own to try plus anything else you can think of from the bar. So go for the healthy or especially the unhealthy food as it has always been good. read more

We were really looking forward to trying our new McKinney Twin Peaks after seeing their interesting menu. I wanted to like this place....give it a good review to offset the initial bad reviews. We went at 4pm on a Friday and were promptly seated. Then things started being less impressive. First of all, the music is playing so loud you can't have a conversation. We were not offered a menu... we were told to use our phones to scan the barcode on the table. Half the wait staff was wearing the "traditional" Twin Peaks uniform of a flannel halter top and denim shorts, but the other half was wearing frigging lingerie! Is this a "breastaurant" or a strip club. We waited a full 15 minutes at our table for a server before we ended up having to flag someone down. When "Stef" finally showed up, we ordered a couple sweet teas and the Double Stacked Nachos with brisket. A couple minutes later, Stef returned and said the nachos don't come with brisket but we could get beef. We agreed and she left, bringing us an order of chips and queso, with beef. We clarified for her that we ordered the Nachos. She took the chips and left, returning a few minutes later to tell us that for some reason the nachos weren't available, but we couldn't hear her (see my earlier comment about the music being too loud). We agreed to take back the queso and chips and she brought them back, without the beef. We pointed out that the beef had been removed and Stef said she'd go back and get it. She never did. At the 30 minute mark, we had to flag her down again to tell her we hadn't even ordered our meals yet. She took the order, and the food arrived in decent time. We had the Lobster Roll BLT and the fish and chips. Both were ok, but nothing exciting. But then she came back with the bill, saying she was getting off shift and wanted us to close our bill out. If we wanted dessert or anything else, we could open a new ticket. Never, ever have I had a server do that to us before! Oh, and she charged us for the queso beef that we never received. Food was meh, service was terrible. I would've given them only one star, but I gave a second star because they offer a 20% military discount (on food only). Came here with my family. I was excited to see birria tacos on the menu so of course I had to try. It took quite a while to get our food even though they were not that body and appeared pretty well staffed. Our waitress was kind but not the most attentive. When the food finally did come out it was lukewarm and my tacos had VERY little meat, was not flavorful, and the consumme was edible at best.
