Food is great but service is very slow when busy, love the scenic views . Good happy hour specials

We've been to this location about 4 times. Previous visits were good, service and food were satisfactory. But last night was less than stellar. Met friends for early drinks and dinner around 5pm. Waitress took our drink orders and we waited about 15 min before we flagged her down. We watched from our table as the bar staff moved without urgency, and one of the folks in our party seemed to witness other waitstaff going behind the bar to make their own drinks. Our waitress assured us they were coming and she went to get an update. We asked for the manager, and shared the above disappointment with her. It took another 5-7 min to actually get the drinks (likely after the manager lit a fire). She was kind enough to comp our appetizers. We contemplated leaving at that point but decided to stay hoping things would improve. After we finished the appetizers we ordered another round and our food. The drinks arrived sooner than the 20 min but the food came out first. The restaurant and bar were about half full. If it was packed we could understand - but not with plenty of empty tables. The 1 star is ONLY for the food which came out in good time and met our expectations. The only delay was waiting on dressing for a Cobb salad. Otherwise it made up for the terrible bar service. All 6 of us had been there previously at various times without issue, but last night's debacle ensured none of us will ever return. There are too many other places/chains with similar food/bar atmosphere that will appreciate our money. read more

Two stars is generous for us. We've had good experience before. But today's service was lacking. Bree was our server. She was not quick and wanted us to more order more when we hadn't even received the food that we ordered. The billionaire bacon was not cooked well enough. Was flavorless. We ordered wings. There was more breading than chicken and they just were not very tasty. And we had to wait quite a long time just for the chicken wings. When it came time to be done, I had to ask around for our server to finally get a Bill. She eventually did come. It was just not a good experience and we will not be back. read more

Picked up an order to go and the flat bread pizza was very burnt and dried up, the app sampler was also very soggy and the buffalo tenders were cold and rubbery. We had to get someone's attention in order to get out to go order because no one was at hostess area or paying attention to us at the bar when we walked in. read more

5 stars, and it isn't even about the wardrobe. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Large location, with a bar in the center. Great place to watch sports or go with a group. Staff - 5/5 - Very friendly. They come by to make sure your glass isn't empty and bring the food fast. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Salsa & Chips - 4/5 - Nothing fancy here. Just eat these until you get thirsty. - Peaks Sampler - 5/5 - Everything frmo tenders to pickles, this thing has everything. - Mini beef tacos - 5/5 - I love these, and especially during HH. Peaks is great because they always have daily drink specials and a great HH. They have alot of specials, and so I cannot list them out. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots to watch sports, and will be back again. read more

My wife and I were looking for takeout in McKinney on Saturday, May 30 at 4:00 pm and having never tried Twin Peaks on 380 we took a look at the online menu. We were impressed by the wide range of menu options so I tried to order online for pick up. I wanted to make a couple changes to our menu selections but while trying to order online it would not allow me to make any minor changes. So I called the restaurant around 4:00 pm to do a call in order and the young lady that answered said they did not take over the phone take out orders. I told her that the online ordering feature did not allow me to make any changes (minor), and she said that I'd have to come to the restaurant to place my takeout order. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me, that will take a while. I just gave up. read more

I recently visited a Twin Peaks in Nashville & decided to try this location as it is closest to me. We dined in Friday after work & we had an awesome server, Cameron. She was patient, friendly, & attentive. We ordered the loaded fries & man were they delicious!! The only con was the amount of fries, i definitely feel that there should've been more for the price. I ordered breaded buffalo wings & it would've been perfect had I remembered to order the wings cooked hard. I'll remember that for next time. My hubby ordered the brisket burger & enjoyed it, the jalapeños gave it a pleasant kick! Amaretto Sours were on special that day, I ordered two & they were fantastic! First visit at this location. Great service and we like the menu as there are things other than wings if that's what you're looking for. The blackened fish tacos were very good and portion was huge. I took left overs home. It's a sports bar vibe and they have good drink specials. If you are offended by women in skimpy clothing (their underwear), then this restaurant won't be for you. But if you're of the "live and let live" mindset then Twin Peaks has better food than competitors and in our opinion better service. read more

Last night, my family of five went to Twin Peaks in McKinney for the first time. We were seated, and while we waited for my husband and the other two kids to arrive, my daughter ordered Fried Pickles as an appetizer. I asked my husband to get the menus since we hadn't received any. When he went to the front to ask, they informed him that the menus were out. I found that quite odd, so we had to look up the menu on our cell phones to decide what we wanted to order. My husband ordered the kid's meal of chicken tenders very clearly for our son. When it was time to check out and pay the bill, my husband checked our order and said something didn't seem right. I wanted to double-check, so I looked over the order as well. I noticed an extra charge of 69 cents for ranch dressing for the fried pickles, but my daughter hadn't requested extra ranch. I let that go, but then I saw that my son's kid meal was charged at the full amount of $11.99 for an adult meal, which was incorrect. I checked and confirmed that my son received three chicken fingers and fries with one ketchup, which is a kid's meal. When my husband informed the waitress, she responded with a bit of an attitude, claiming that she had given him an adult meal. My husband clarified that we ordered a kid's meal for our son, emphasizing that it wasn't her decision to dictate what we ordered. Eventually, she corrected the charge to reflect the kid's meal price. Overall, the service was not great, and we decided it wasn't worth returning. This will be our last visit! It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us, so be sure to check your receipt before you leave. read more

Asking for a credit card before I order or receive a drink? Who's training these girls? And they have a iPad bar tender assistant over the bar?. Don't properly rinse the stir spoon. Glassware half ass washed, including tableware. Order food - so disappointing and unable to eat. But the credit card required before ordering was beyond customer relations. No table touching by management either. Won't be back nor my friends- this place is doomed if this continues. If you're there for the girls to be rude in bikinis this your spot. If I can NOT put a star I would. We have never been here and wanted to try. Walked in thinking someone was going to seat us. No one in the front. Stood there for almost 8 mins and NO ONE greeted us. We didn't know if we can just seat ourselves or what. A waitress finally came to the front but just to grab menus. We couldn't ask anyone because a few waitresses walked past us. If it was self seating, there should have been a sign. They were not busy at this time...4pm. We gave it a couple more minutes and still nothing so we left. DO BETTER WITH SERVICE at least anyone that works there should acknowledge anyone who's standing there looking like they are waiting to be seat! This city is growing rapidly, and there are many restaurants near my home. Tonight(Mar.05.2026) we chose this one, but we were incredibly unlucky. We waited almost 25 minutes for a beer, and when we asked the manager to inquire, he got angry and took away all our food plates. We felt utterly humiliated. What kind of customer service is this? I went to try the new Twin Peaks that opened after closing the one close to my house. The new restaurant is about 5 minutes further away. The new location is brand new and very clean and large. It has a massive amount of TVs so you can't miss any sporting event you should hope to see while you are there. I went because they have some very tasty and healthy dishes so it is actually good for a diet. I especially like the Grilled Salmon. It is always perfectly grilled crispy with a fantastic covering of butter and seasoning. The lemon garlic pilaf was really salty when i went but attributed it to the fact they just opened and working out the kinks. It is super low calorie and there are worse carbs to eat than the pilaf. I also like the steak salad a lot. If you love beer they have two of their own to try plus anything else you can think of from the bar. So go for the healthy or especially the unhealthy food as it has always been good. read more

I visited the Twin Peaks at 3750 W University Dr, McKinney, TX on 1/19/26 to watch the College Football National Championship between Indian and Miami. The game was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the bartenders working the counter were attentive and friendly. I had no complaints about the service from them. I enjoy the setup as far as how many TVs they have and the level of acceptable noise. What soured the night was an interaction involving a Floor Team Lead. I was seated between two other guests, both of whom were fun to watch the game with. One of them had a larger tab and paid cash on his second check. The bartender didn't immediately return his change, and he had to ask for it. She brought it back right away, so no real harm done, but he mentioned it because the usual practice is to ask whether the guest wants change back. He had definitely had a bit to drink, but he was calm, polite, and simply voiced a concern. When he mentioned it to someone who appeared to be a Floor Team Lead--the only male employee I noticed on duty--the response was surprisingly rude, sarcastic, and unnecessarily confrontational, actually a bit aggressive. It was unprofessional and completely out of step with the otherwise positive service we'd received. Everyone has an off day, but there's no reason for a manager or team lead to speak to customers that way. Stopped by for happy hour and was so excited this location opened after the frisco one closed. We were extremely disappointed by the service, the wait staff looked like she did not care. Service is not good at this place. Takes forever to be waited on and the servers rarely visit the table. Very disappointed in this place. You'd think they would try harder with the investment in the building and infrastructure. This is not our first experience here and service has been terrible every time. Try harder. We visited this location for a late Sunday lunch and it was okay. The wings were great (smoked and grilled). We had plain and cajun. The loaded fries were mediocre and greatly lacking toppings. My son did not like his mac n cheese (which we almost didn't even get because they forgot to give us a kids menu). Service was not great. There were so many servers but ours would only stop by after great lengths of time passed. We waited a LONG time for our food. And then an even longer time just sitting there waiting for our bill. Kayla from Chicago was amazing! My friend and coworker went there today around 1245pm for lunch Saturday and was seated and greeted right away.
