There is no consistency here or service. One day will be great, the next - the food is bland. We won't be returning.

For the size of the location in comparison to the food cost - Meh - ambience $90 plus (one bottle of wine) for three on the wine night with specials - far from a winery feel, but a legit winery cost?? Bottles are over priced in my opinion compared more established locations downtown with great curb appeal, including BYOB. Maybe a cork fee for people bringing in their own wine with reasonable priced appetizers (plenty for a setting of 4). ?? read more

Me and a friend came here with our kids for dinner one night. The atmosphere was nice & I loved the patio area. I felt most of the food was pretty bland & over priced though. We ordered the Julie's board charcuterie board & was very pretty but for $18 it didn't have very much food on the platter. The bruschetta crostinis was probably our favorite, and the only item that had a good flavor...but only 4 little pieces of bread we split a veggie flatbread & cheesy chicken pesto (both were pretty bland) the wine tasting was cool, I only enjoyed 1 of the 4 glasses I tried but all 4 glasses had maybe 2 sips... so again kind of overpriced for what you get, is what I felt. It was a very clean restaurant. But for the quality/flavor of food, I wouldn't go back. It just wasn't for me. read more

Brunched there twice. It was good both times. Lasagna soup is delicious! Owners are friendly.

Tried this new place for dinner this past weekend ... all tables were taken and menus given so we were worried as we had only so much time and we were assured it wouldn't take long ... we ordered the garlic bread app, meatball sub, chicken piccata flatbread and chicken wrap. The appetizer was a bit skimpy 3 pieces for price $10 and not enough cheese to justify, the sub and wrap were good but not anything to consider and chips were really boring, we tired the broccoli cheese soup and it was just a bit warm and thick so sent it back to microwave and thru said they don't have one ... took another while to get the soup ... while the place online appears to be pretty cool vibe the food was just meh & boring .. they were nice though, they did get food out relatively quickly and reheated the soup. We may try them again to see what their Murder Mystery theatre is about or to go listen to their live music. The wines were plentiful we aren't wine people. The old fashions were good. read more

We finally have a cute little restaurant in Melissa! We have been here three times (all on weekend nights) and I have to say that we have never had to wait to be seated - major plus! The wait staff is extremely kind and helpful. Have not had a bad experience with service. My only complaint is that the menu is very small and not much to choose from, outside of appetizers (you must try the Fig Crostinis.) For that reason, I don't think this will be a place we frequent. read more

My husband I tried this place on an impromptu date tonight. There were two other tables occupied besides us so they were not busy. Our waitress really spoiled the evening; she let my husband's water glass sit empty while she swept the same spot on the floor for 10 minutes. He had ordered a beer and we thought maybe she was too young to bring it to the table, so he went to the bar and no one was there either. I ordered the Mediterranean salad without black olives and it arrived without any olives (supposed to be a mixture). I mentioned it when she asked about the food and she said the olives are premixed so I got no olives by ordering no black olives. Not a big deal, but it could have been communicated prior to receiving the salad without even mentioning it. No apologies about anything, just flippant poor service. Disappointing. read more

What a great place Melissa Texas ! They have live entertainment on the weekends. Karaoke was fun! They have a great wine list and have now started serving cocktails. The food is always good however I would like to see them expand the menu a bit. Very enjoyable place to spend with your friends and family. read more

The ambiance of this place is cute. The service was good. I sat at the bar and the girl who was serving us was helpful with recommendations. She recommended a really good sweet red wine and I'm usually not a red wine drinker. The flatbreads my friend and I shared were good. The best part was the s'mores dip they have. read more

My husband and I popped in to check this new spot out on a Wednesday around 3:30pm. They have a pretty good sized outdoor area, a few booths, bar top, and some tables in the middle. We did 2 different wine flights and some appetizers. Everything was amazing and we highly recommend. So happy to have Red Feather in Melissa. Lots of fast food has been popping up but not many sit down places. Yay! read more

Wife and I had such an amazing date night tonight at this new local family owned restaurant. The place seems to be owned by just a small group of local families. Two of them where there tonight and came by multiple times to just check in and see how we where doing. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. The wine selection her is so unique and diverse and their GM and sommelier Hiram was so nice and super informative about all the wines we ordered. As far as food we had the Duck wings with the savory Asian seasoning, a Caesar salad, and the Tre Carne flatbread. The duck wings where quite possibly my favorite food we had which is surprising as I have never liked duck before.... It was all so delicious though. Cannot wait for our next visit read more

Took the family for the 1st time on Sunday. Didn't seem busy but it only looked like they had 2 servers. One inside one outside. Took a bit to be seated or acknowledged. I ordered the chicken and waffles. This is something I like to try at places that offer it. I would not recommend it from this place. 1st it came with 2 four inch waffles and a little chicken strip on top. This was the same chicken my kids got in their chicken strip meal. You know the kind that come frozen in a bag that they just toss in the fryer. Mine we overcooked and dry. Same can be said for the "waffles", they were like hockey pucks. Hard as a rock. Crispy almost. I needed more spices honey but still that did nothing to cover the overcooked chicken and waffles. Kids each had a happy meal. Same chicken that was over cooked. Wife had a buffalo chicken salad. It looked like it was good. I did try that chicken, much better tasting than our dried out. Maybe it was just a bad moment they were having but for $60 what I got was not anywhere near the price expectation and definitely not the quality. As I walked out I said we should have just ate at Jersey Mikes. We could have e spent less and gotten way better food. read more

The place was empty but the menu looked good so we were hoping for a hidden gem. It took over 30 minutes to get food and then another 30 minutes to get the check. The food was average. If you're a fan of red wine, you might enjoy this winery. They had several wine flights to choose from but they were all dry reds and not my preference. The servers hovered over us, which was awkward but the apps we ate were good. It wasn't my cup of tea but like I said, if you're a red wine drinker, you might really like it. read more

So thrilled to find a nice local restaurant nice enough for date night or other special occasion. Really good quality food selections. Nice atmosphere. And great wine selections. Genuinely surprised and delighted to find this little jewel in the middle of a strip center in the middle of our tiny country town. I did make my way back here twice in the last 6 months. Had to add an extra star to my review. Both times were during the day and we sat outside. The food has definitely gotten tastier and more consistent since I last tried this place. My kiddos got the kids flatbread which they loved and was delicious. I tried another chicken flatbread on cauliflower crust, which was really nice. We also ordered the beef panini with au jus, it was very tasty but needed cheese or another type of sauce to hold it together; and should come with more au jus. The cordon blue balls.... They're still ehhh to me; but my husband liked them. The Bruschetta bites were pretty good. All in all; definitely will come back because it's so close to home. The service was decent; but for not being busy (we were one of two tables) it could've been better. Had to find our waitress at times... but again; not a terrible experience. read more
