Found this little gem tucked inside the City of Celinas. This is a Wine Bar, that utilizes the latest technology of preserving wine after they are opened. This allows them to provide their customers a greater selection of wine flights and by the glass. This is a great place to come relax, sip some wines and munch of some appetizers. We stopped in the other night and found a very busy place. There was no host available for several Minutes so we wandered around and found a table. After twenty minutes of no one coming to our table for our orders, someone finally showed up. Our orders we're taken. We ordered beer, and it was served in a warm pint glass at near room temperature. No good. We then Ordered food and we're only brought one of our two meals. After about twenty minutes waiting for the second meal to arrive, we stopped a waiter and inquired about our food. No explanation was given, and we waited another twenty minutes for it to arrive. No apology, no explanation, just poor service. Will not return. read more

Unexpected Gem! Found this place while traveling home from Dallas. We had ciabatta bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was fresh and delicious. Husband and I both ordered flatbreads. He had the works and I had the Tres Carne. The hot honey drizzle wasn't too hot, but was flavorful and delectable. The flatbread was also clearly fresh. We've never had flatbread pizzas that were this good! We stuck with water but I also tried a cherry lime craft soda, also wonderful. Lastly we split the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was perfection but still not as sweet and perfect as our Server was. She was the epitome of perfect service. Thank you, Red Feather! I really wanted to like this place , we live a block away and would have been a great place to come on the weekends. I ordered the chicken pesto panini , the server told me I had an option of chips or side salad as my side , I ordered Caesar salad. Same with my husband , he ordered a panini , told he can choose a side salad. Our paninis came out with hardly any protein, my panini had maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken , it was all bread my husbands panini had also very little protein. The check comes and there is an up charge of $3 for each side salad. The waiter never said anything about it being extra for salad. Very poor communication, don't say I can choose from 2 options without let me option 2 has a $3 up charge . Also , be generous with your proteins, generosity goes a long way. Hidden gem in Melissa, the food was amazing. Meatball sub had the softest bread and the lasagna soup was fire! Daughter loved the waffles and fruit, the presentation was beautiful too. I was able to eat there once and the food was good. The next time we tried to go we arrived 30 minutes before the posted closing time to be told the kitchen was already closed. I'll never understand why you would close the kitchen before the establishment closes. I've worked food service and it doesn't take all that much extra time to clean up a kitchen. The food was good but the alcohol was lacking. We paid $25 for a glass of wine that I was so looking forward too. It arrived in a glass with about 4-6 ounces of wine. I then saw other pours given to tables around us that were much more generous pours of at least 6-8 ounces. My husband ordered a martini that had hardly any alcohol and mostly olive juice. We have visited many wine bars and were very disappointed. We ate and left and will definitely not recommend nor revisit this establishment. read more

Bottles are over priced in my opinion compared more established locations downtown with great curb appeal, including BYOB. Me and a friend came here with our kids for dinner one night. The atmosphere was nice & I loved the patio area. I felt most of the food was pretty bland & over priced though. We ordered the Julie's board charcuterie board & was very pretty but for $18 it didn't have very much food on the platter. The bruschetta crostinis was probably our favorite, and the only item that had a good flavor...but only 4 little pieces of bread we split a veggie flatbread & cheesy chicken pesto (both were pretty bland) the wine tasting was cool, I only enjoyed 1 of the 4 glasses I tried but all 4 glasses had maybe 2 sips... so again kind of overpriced for what you get, is what I felt. It was a very clean restaurant. But for the quality/flavor of food, I wouldn't go back. It just wasn't for me. read more

We finally have a cute little restaurant in Melissa! We have been here three times (all on weekend nights) and I have to say that we have never had to wait to be seated - major plus! The wait staff is extremely kind and helpful. Have not had a bad experience with service. My only complaint is that the menu is very small and not much to choose from, outside of appetizers (you must try the Fig Crostinis.) For that reason, I don't think this will be a place we frequent. read more

Wife and I had such an amazing date night tonight at this new local family owned restaurant. The place seems to be owned by just a small group of local families. Two of them where there tonight and came by multiple times to just check in and see how we where doing. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. The wine selection her is so unique and diverse and their GM and sommelier Hiram was so nice and super informative about all the wines we ordered. As far as food we had the Duck wings with the savory Asian seasoning, a Caesar salad, and the Tre Carne flatbread. The duck wings where quite possibly my favorite food we had which is surprising as I have never liked duck before.... It was all so delicious though. Cannot wait for our next visit read more

Tried this new place for dinner this past weekend ... all tables were taken and menus given so we were worried as we had only so much time and we were assured it wouldn't take long ... we ordered the garlic bread app, meatball sub, chicken piccata flatbread and chicken wrap. The appetizer was a bit skimpy 3 pieces for price $10 and not enough cheese to justify, the sub and wrap were good but not anything to consider and chips were really boring, we tired the broccoli cheese soup and it was just a bit warm and thick so sent it back to microwave and thru said they don't have one ... took another while to get the soup ... while the place online appears to be pretty cool vibe the food was just meh & boring .. they were nice though, they did get food out relatively quickly and reheated the soup. We may try them again to see what their Murder Mystery theatre is about or to go listen to their live music. The wines were plentiful we aren't wine people. The old fashions were good. read more

Then they ask, how was your drink, it's new on the menu, my reply not great it's to sweet and the manager says, good to know. Not I'm sorry, not can I get you something else, just good to know. Seriously!! Then I say, I think they forgot the gin, she says that's not like Ashley let me go ask. Comes back with lemon juice to cut the sweetness and says there's 2 oz of gin in it. There was no way there was 2oz of gin in it. I couldn't even finish it and that says a lot. I don't think the waitresses could be less enthusiastic if they tried. It's Saturday night.
