Quiet quaint winery with the BEST Strawberry Wine I've ever had! The whipped feta board is amazing! Owners are super nice!

We stopped for a tasting as part of the North Texas Wine Trail. There is a beachy ambiance inside, despite not being near a body of water. There is a surfboard and deck-style furniture that provides a relaxed atmosphere. There are seating options indoors as well as outdoors on their patio. Free parking (just a little construction going on). The staff was attentive with good service. I think this might be a location for sweet wine drinkers, as they have a large selection of sweet wines.

Cooley Bay is legit - loved the wine, loved the vibe, loved the live music and loved the charcuterie and pizza. - Great visit!

What a great vibe! Our last stop today on the North Texas Wine Trail! Wish it was our first!! Fun atmosphere. Guys behind the counter were great. Sam spent most of the time with us but the kid you turns 21 next month (didn't get your name) was just as awesome. Loved the fun slushy wine drinks but enjoyed the Tempranillo and Dry Red too. The fruit wines were fun too: Cherry, BlackBerry, and Strawberry. Want to come back for sure!!

The wine tasting was absolutely perfect in finding my favorite Cooley Bay wine. There were some great fruit forward choices in keeping you refreshed by the pool during this Texas heat! I'll definitely be going back

Great place! Service is very friendly, wines are surprisingly good, and the food is very good, if a bit limited.

My husbands favorite is the Blackberry wine and we make their mulled wine as much as we can when it's cold outside using their mulled wine kit and cherry wine.

My wife and I have wildly different tastes in wine but both found wines we loved and also had a fantastic experience. 2+ hours of talking to the owners and other customers about life, the universe, and, of course, wine! An absolute recommendation for a visit where you get to pick how 'in-depth' you make it. Take suggestions from both of the knowledgeable owners- they know their grapes, growing environment, and aren't afraid to be creative. What more could you want? Specifics: intimate, caring, and practically hand picked experience with great selection range; be open to trying new wines. Wine visit for people who genuinely love wine.

We've tried numerous places and have had great experiences but this was the best wine. The owner, Jackson, had an incredible passion for his wines which were all made with grapes grown right on the property. He was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of education. It's great to drink some wine and leave with a little more wine knowledge than you arrived with. If you are looking for a great tasting experience which included several free tastings (probably 8 wines or so) and a few more for just $5 then please put this place on your rotation. You won't be disappointed and you'll probably leave with a few bottles of your favorites. Keep it up Jackson!

The lighting is amazing, from the lights above the bar to the lights that shine up the brick wall. The barn doors that hide the kitchen and restroom are rustic and really bring the look of the room together. The loft upstairs make me feel like I'm hanging out in someone's living room. There is a cute little store front with all sorts of wine themed items. The best part of the whole place of course, is the wine. There are many selections from all over the world. They have sweet wines, whites, reds, and bubbles. The hot spiced wine hits the spot on a cold day. There are a few selections of bourbon barrel wines that are very popular. The wine bar opened in December and already has many regulars. The owners, Stephanie and Vern, are very friendly and love talking with everyone. I would definitely suggest coming here when ever you get a chance. It is a beautiful place and a great experience.

It is quite isolated, so I would recommend downloading your map before arriving, especially for the journey home as there is little to no data service in the area. We initially chose to sit outside with our two dogs, who are service dogs, as we wanted to be considerate of other guests, rather than assuming we should bring our dogs indoors. Unfortunately, it was over 100°F, even in the shade, so we asked if there might be somewhere inside where we could sit where we wouldn't bother other guests. There were only two tables occupied in the entire facilities, with a large separate area indoor completely empty. The server was kind enough to accommodate us in there. We tried two wine flights, eight wines in total. A few were quite good, some were just okay, and one in particular, the Lambrusco, really wasn't to my taste. Very sour compared to the usual taste of it. That said, I'm Italian and probably have a different preference when it comes to wine, so this is very subjective. The food was quite good. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side of soup, and both were enjoyable. The experience took a turn halfway through our meal. One of our dogs barked a couple of times when another dog passed outside. About five minutes later, the owner came directly to our table and, in a manner that felt quite confrontational, questioned us about what services our dogs provided. We answered, but the conversation continued with comments about service dogs being trained not to bark at other dogs. And it all felt very unnecessary and beyond uncomfortable. Considering also that we were one of the three tables occupied in the whole winery. I completely understand that businesses have policies and concerns regarding service animals, and we would have been happy to have a respectful conversation about them. However, the way this interaction was handled left us feeling judged and uncomfortable, and unfortunately it overshadowed what had otherwise been an enjoyable visit. I also found the situation particularly disappointing given that the restaurant was almost completely empty and the temperature outside was well over 100°F. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left such a sour taste that I know I will not be returning. I'm still giving 3 stars because I try to be fair with my reviews. Aside from this interaction, the property is beautiful, the food was good, our server was accommodating, and there were certainly positive aspects to the visit. It's just unfortunate that one interaction had such a lasting impact on an otherwise decent experience.
