I went to Barnhill Vineyard the last two weekends, and both times I really enjoyed my time there! The area is beautiful, and I feel like I can just breathe and relax. If you love animals, they literally have horses and donkeys you can love on. The owners and staff are kind, efficient, and friendly --and the wine is good! The last time I showed up was for a '90's country night. The band was talented and we got to learn a couple of line dances! It was a BLAST. I highly recommend! read more

This venue is very unique, well organized, and the overall atmosphere and experience is 5 star. Their wine at Barnhill is very good. They always have a stellar line- up of Tribute bands. The food option is usually a food truck but you can bring your own. They have live music throughout the year, just have to check their website as the genre varies but always great time. And they have fire pits and other items to add to the experience but all you need is a chair and good friends and it will be a great time. The check in service is easy and always welcoming. read more

We attended the The Vinyl Countdown: A Tribute to Arena Rock show here and it was our first time visiting. This is a fantastic venue, very friendly people, we only wish the show had been a full 3 hours since it's a 2 hour drive each way for us. My friends surprised me with a party to celebrate both my birthday and my retirement. The package was a party within a party, and that was so aptly named! I'm an introvert by nature and usually feel uncomfortable with a fuss made over me. The team at Barnhill made me forget all about that! The decorations were beautiful, the property is beautiful, and the atmosphere was so fun. Yes, they even had the band sing me happy birthday and called me out by name to congratulate me on my retirement. I felt like a celebrity! We all decided that we will return very soon. read more

Great for large parties. Many in my group were worried about the drive but it is easy mostly freeway. The wine was very good and the atmoshphere is relaxed. The staff was very helpfull in suggesting wines. read more

Cool place to hang out and listen to live music, see some horses & donkeys & drink wine. They had a food truck when we visited. The service at the wine bar was really helpful, although I thought the wine was a little pricey. We went during the day, I think an evening visit to sit by the fire pits would be fun. We went to see Blood Red Sky (U2 tribute band) at BarnHill on a Friday evening and the whole experience was great. We got there in time to watch the sunset and meet some of the animals. We brought our lawn chairs and set up our spot. They offered propane heaters to help with the chilly air. They always have a food truck during events which was nice. We enjoyed the music and the wine and the ambiance. The staff and security were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend attending an event at BarnHill. read more

What a fun night! First off wow amazing venue with the most beautiful views and ambiance. This was our first time here and we were so impressed with how gorgeous it was and how friendly everyone was! The wine was amazing and although we didn't eat every bodies food looked delicious. My favorite wine was the BarnHill red. A perfect blend, and not to sweet and not to dry We went for the tribute to Blake Shelton night, since we are hugh Blake fans, and wow the band did not disappoint! Seriously so good! We went to see Double Vision, a cover band for Foreigner, last night at BarnHill Vineyards. It was our first time there and it will certainly not be our last. We had a blast. Perfect seating (bring a chair), amazing Texas wine and it was a perfect night as the storm moved in and cooled things off behind us. What a charming and fun venue! The atmosphere was great, and the owner was incredibly friendly stopping by to personally check on guests, which added such a nice touch. The band was absolutely amazing and really brought the energy to the night! While I do wish there had been more food options especially after waiting in line for 45 minutes only to have them run out it didn't take away from the overall great experience. Food is great (there's usually a food truck or 2), wonderful wines and this time, they had two "cocktails" - Long Island Tea and Beerarita. It is so well run with the friendliest people guiding you to parking, handing out wine glasses and making sure everyone has a great time. Bring your friends! Great place to chill out on a Saturday afternoon - we went for their Sip and Shop event. Lots of local vendors selling a variety of fun products. Bar was busy but line was worth the wait. We tried one of their wines and then their frozen wine slush, which was excellent. Wonderful live music and great ambience. If you haven't visited yet, this is a must! I've visited Barnhill Vineyard twice and the first time was a rainy concert date night. Despite the rain, we still had a great night and the wine is delicious! Saturday Sip n Shop was even better enjoying this place in the sunshine. I tried their frozen winerita which is my new favorite. They had really great vendors from permanent jewelry to handmade candles and food trucks as well. We can't wait to come back! read more

Been twice now and really enjoy this venue, and plan on returning many more times in the future. My only quibble keeping this from a 5 star rating has to do with the wine. It's quite good, BUT for $15/glass (before tip) a cab should not be served distinctly warm. Maybe they just lost track of the bottle they poured our glasses from and it had been out for a while? It was a very warm evening and the warm wine didn't spoil anything, but I just had to put this out there. read more

This place has quickly become one of my happy places. Beautiful Texas country setting. Wear your boots, pet the horses, listen to some music and RELAX! The staff is friendly and helpful. They allow kids sometimes in the middle of the day but the evening events are mostly 21 and over it seems. Both times I've been, there has been a food truck. Just a really great venue. And if you're looking for a place to get married, this would be a great choice. I hope I can talk one of my friends into getting married here. Beautiful sunsets! read more
