There were not any food options but plenty of delicious whiskey to taste during the sampling tour. Well worth the money. It does mean that its selection is pretty limited, but I walked in to find some unexpected surprises on a random stop. I won't say what they were, but Larry's get props for not over-charging on hard-to-find bourbon like so many places - especially smaller shops - do. Nope, these gems were sitting there marked at very reasonable prices (not big box store prices, obviously, but not 3x or 4x what they should cost by any means). Nice staff and a decent selection for how small they are. Fun little hunting stop that I remember fondly.

We had an inventive German inspired flatbread with bratwurst, onion jam, sauerkraut, mustard and smoked Gouda cheese and it was surprisingly tasty, but the star of the table was their Pig & Fig flatbread with fig jam, garlic olive oil, bacon, ham, bell peppers, onions, and mozzarella cheese and just WOW!! I may never explore the rest of their menu-it was that good! Beers were Scottish brown ale and Kolsch beer, both were excellent and I'm super picky about beer.

The venue has a modern, welcoming atmosphere with contemporary artwork, unique furnishings, and thoughtful décor that gives the space a distinctive character without feeling pretentious. We enjoyed two wine flights and found several favorites. The Peach Wine and Blackberry Wine were both excellent, and we especially enjoyed the Tempranillo Wine. The charcuterie board paired well with the tasting and made for a relaxing afternoon. The pricing was very reasonable. For two flights, a charcuterie board, and two bottles of wine, our total came to about $117, which felt fair and comparable to similar wineries in North Texas. If you live in or around Van Alstyne, this is a great local spot to unwind, enjoy some quality wine, and appreciate a little piece of wine country in your own backyard. We'll definitely be back.

Went back to the bar side to wait again, and eventually got fed up and left altogether. Now I'm not sure if we would give it another chance.
