It is connected to Ivanhoe Ale Works which I also reviewed independently. The cool thing about this place is that you can go back-and-forth between the winery tasting room and the brewery and the friendly servers take care of you no matter where you are. We also got to meet the owner, she was really friendly, down to earth, and we had some good conversations and got the learn a lot about her and what motivates her to do what she does... So fresh and tasty, it's made to order! The wine flight was such an incredible value, four tastings for $10! I loved the Bois D'Are Red so much I bought a bottle to take home. My husband got the Ivanhoe Peach and he loved it! We will absolutely visit again the next time we are in the area! Maybe try the brewery attached next time which is in the old town cinema. Also, there is no bathroom for patrons to use (kind of a problem if you want to sit and drink wine for any length of time). Not the most comfortable setting to bring a group. A homeless guy came in and asked us a question while we were tasting. The tasting list was short but we liked the two dry red wines a lot in terms of quality. The server was not knowledgeable about wine at all but was attentive.

We arrived, walked in the small building and met Adell. She set up 7 barstools, with wine glasses, and we got to the wine tasting right away. Started with the chardonnay and worked our way through about 5 different wines, ending on the Lenoir Rouge. They were all very good. My favorite being the white merlot. Adell is a character. Such a sweet lady and told us all about the wine making process, her small winery, her husband, how this wine business is their hobby. Just a cool lady that you could spend hours talking to. The owner, Jackson, had an incredible passion for his wines which were all made with grapes grown right on the property. He was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of education. It's great to drink some wine and leave with a little more wine knowledge than you arrived with. If you are looking for a great tasting experience which included several free tastings (probably 8 wines or so) and a few more for just $5 then please put this place on your rotation.
