It is tucked away, off the beaten path, on a beautifully kept property. There is convenient parking right next to the tasting room. You can choose to sit indoors or out on one of the patios - there are mini-golf holes on one and giant chess pieces on the other. When you enter the tasting room, everything is decorated with aviation items. It is super cute inside. Bathroom was clean. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine was terrific! We enjoyed tasting dry whites and reds and were extremely happy with all the wine. The reds were especially smooth and delicious. We also walked around outside a little before we left. There are vineyards and a large pond. You are able to get married here and there is another building to use for a reception. Definitely pay them a visit and try their wine. It's worth the drive!

We arrived, walked in the small building and met Adell. She set up 7 barstools, with wine glasses, and we got to the wine tasting right away. Started with the chardonnay and worked our way through about 5 different wines, ending on the Lenoir Rouge. They were all very good. My favorite being the white merlot. Adell is a character. Such a sweet lady and told us all about the wine making process, her small winery, her husband, how this wine business is their hobby. Just a cool lady that you could spend hours talking to. The only bad thing is they don't ship or distribute so if you want their wine you gotta go to Bells, TX and get it.

It is connected to Ivanhoe Ale Works which I also reviewed independently. The cool thing about this place is that you can go back-and-forth between the winery tasting room and the brewery and the friendly servers take care of you no matter where you are. We also got to meet the owner, she was really friendly, down to earth, and we had some good conversations and got the learn a lot about her and what motivates her to do what she does... The wines were pretty good. She had a chocolate rosé that I found really tasty. Their Tempranillo is really and they are a great value. We will be returning soon

So fresh and tasty, it's made to order! The wine flight was such an incredible value, four tastings for $10! I loved the Bois D'Are Red so much I bought a bottle to take home. Landon Winery was near by and we stopped in. The place is big but with that small town, historic vibe. Very relaxing atmosphere. I got a glass of Tempranillo and she had a frozen "Swirl" - a blend of peach and sangria. That was good. My glass was excellent. They have a nice food menu as well. We'll come back when we're not full from "brunch". You can get drink to go as well - I guess the city is good with sip-n-stole. Service was outstanding. Pricing is on par for this type establishment - drinks were $33. before tip. I don't think there would be ideal for kids, but that's just a guess. Definitely will be back when in town.

I fell upon this quaint and beautiful B & B in Denison and was just amazed. The house is beautiful and the inside is even better with such tasteful decorating. Everything was perfect from the bed linens being very soft, bathroom amenities and the food was amazing. The owners are personable and warm and after conversation we found out that both are ARMY one a veteran and one active duty which I LOVE supporting even more. If you are going to be in Dallas I highly recommend heading north a short stint up the road and checking out this wonderful B & B, you won't be disappointed!

Me and my husband were celebrating our second wedding anniversary and wanted to get away for a romantic getaway and Davis on Morton was PERFECT! It had everything beat from the bed and breakfast we stayed in in San Antonio. The only downfall that some people might have is that it's just a bedroom and bathroom. The one in San Antonio was like an apartment. It had a full kitchen, dining room and living room. But we didn't use any of it once. Most people don't while on vacation. We stayed in the North room. It had a queen size bed and the bathroom was PERFECT for a romantic getaway or even just a getaway with your significant other. When we first walked in we were greeted with smiles. Glen was outside and opened the door for us and Doris was inside greeting us with a friendly smile. We brought in some fast food and they let us-actually so sweetly insisted that eat at the main dining room table downstairs to be more comfortable. We were soaked from being at Lake Texoma so I said no, it was fine because I didn't want to get those gorgeous chairs wet. So sweet Doris appreciated the thought so she said she can cover them for us so we don't get them wet. So we ate down there and talked to them. They are both soooo sweet and they make you feel right at home. They told us if we bring in a bottle of wine or something we are allowed to use the wine glasses and cork opener that they have downstairs at their bar. They just aren't allowed to let us drink the alcohol at that bar because I think there are laws regarding that. Like having a licensed bartender there if alcohol is being served to the guests. But we were welcome to use anything down stairs. I felt right at home! Before we ate our lunch we brought in, Doris showed us around upstairs and all the rooms. They are all quite amazing. The east room was the one we almost went with but the picture didn't look like the jacuzzi tub would fit 2 people. But it defiantly will! And you get the bigger king size bed in that one. Deloris was so sweet that she would have let us switch to that room but it had already been booked. (By people that didn't even show up or call to cancel) and they don't charge a cancelation fee which just shows their character and how sweet they were but if you're not going to show up, you should call and let them know because someone else could have looked at that room wanting a jacuzzi tub and couldn't book it bc both rooms with jacuzzi tubs were booked and if they had called and canceled, someone else could have booked it. It's not right to screw them over like that. They are such sweet people. Up stairs there is a hallway that has a mini fridge that has sodas and water next to it are chocolates that anyone can help themselves to. The landscaping outside is beautiful. The wrap around porch downstairs is awesome too. It has tables you can eat at, places to relax and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the weather and having a glass of wine or a beer. One thing I really loved about Davis on Morton was all the incredible antiques. You will see some in the photos. I took a lot of photos of our room (the north room) because I did feel like I couldn't really tell from their website how great at actually was! And I took picture of downstairs. I meant to take pictures of the outside but I forgot. But they do have plenty of those pictures on the website. All in all I loved 99.9999% of everything about this place (comfortable beds, BEYONG EXCELLENT customer service, room size, even quality toilet paper not cheap thin toilet paper that you get at most places, and the breakfast in the morning....O-M-G best I've ever had at a hotel or B&B!!!) And that's all on Doris! She's the cook! And Glen serves us and makes sure we have everything we need or if we need anything else. I would rate it 100% but porcelain dolls freak me out and they have one downstairs that freaked me out haha. That would never make me give them less than 5 stars. I would give them 10 stars if I could. It's a great place to stay if you want to go to Choctaw and go to the lake. Or if you just want a romantic getaway. Thank you so much Doris and Glen!
