    Wine Flight!

Great customer service & even better atmosphere! I try the flight, all was good and tasty!

Beyond amazing atmosphere Had a great time service was great Great margarita pizza to share and really delicious too. We ordered another rounds of the same thing food and drinks I was really a fan of the raspberry wine and the bubbly Demi sec sweet reminded me of champagne.

    Texan Board

This is the best place in downtown McKinney for a huge charcuterie board and some wine. They have a ton of wine options, whether you like sweet or dry, I personally recommend the peach wine! The Texan board is delicious and gigantic, the entire restaurant was jealous when the saw the waiter bring it out for us. If it's a nice day you have to sit outside and enjoy the square for a perfect afternoon.

I wanted to do something spontaneous today plus I needed to pick up my wine from the wine club so we decided to stay and have a drink! I had a glass of Riesling & my partner had the Peach Sangria! Both were sooo good! Thankfully it wasn't too hot and we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the view! The server was attentive and personable. We walked in and were served immediately!! It was a good time!!

We were out on a busy night at the square and wanted wine. Everywhere seemed to have a 1-2 hour wait, so we turned to Landon winery. The inside was cool and quiet, a nice relief from the summer heat. My friend and I had our hearts set on dessert, so we each order a chocolate lava cake. When my friend asked at the bar which of two wines would pair better with the chocolate, it quickly became clear that the servers are not hired for the wine knowledge. We were left to our own choices and enjoyed a peaceful evening of conversation. The cake was delicious, and the wine was fine to my unsophisticated palate.

Patio area with a Cab Reserve and views of downtown McKinney

The Cabernet Reserve is delicious if you like Cabs. I usually only drink California Cabs, and this is one of my local favorites. The patio is huge with pretty views of downtown McKinney. I recommend going during the week if you can or right when they open on weekends as I have been there when it's packed and service is impossible. There may be 2-3 people inside serving customers so grab your table first then stand in line for drinks!

Very quaint and cozy establishment in downtown McKinney. It was easy to walk in and order a glass of wine/find a table. This was also on a Saturday afternoon, so wasn't sure if we would be able to easily be seated. They also had an extensive wine selection for reasonable prices. Our waitress was also very personable and friendly. I would return and recommend!

We love having a little wine night and Landon is a great place. while the wine may be a little overpriced, the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff make up for it! Sometimes there is live music outside of the patio area on weekends.

So much LOVE for Landon's!! If you live downtown Mckinney or are new to the area. Landon's is a staple! Great atmosphere right off the main square whether you like to patio sit or be indoors. Everyone's really friendly and the wine is actually good. They just amped up there food menu too! My fav is the flatbread and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Great place for holiday events too! Have been coming to Landon's for over 10 years and they never disappoint no matter the occasion.

Fun little spot in the middle of town. I had the sparkling which was refreshing in the middle of the day and paired perfectly with the charcuterie board! It was so delicious we ate it before I could snap a picture

We literally ran in to get out of a rain storm and the interior (and outside covered seating) is inviting and comfortable. There's no table service and the wait at the bar is confusingly long. It wasn't because there was a lack of workers, it was just slow. ??? We only tried a couple of glasses (one each), the Pinot Gris and the dry muscat orange. (Honestly, we couldn't tell a difference between the two.) It was a cool place to hang out and watch the storm pass.

Love the outdoor seating area. Sitting out on the patio with a frozen swirl sangria on a sunny afternoon can't be beat.

Great local business, good wine, fun little set up to hang out and socialize. Also, their Wylie store is pretty solid too.

It is quite isolated, so I would recommend downloading your map before arriving, especially for the journey home as there is little to no data service in the area. We initially chose to sit outside with our two dogs, who are service dogs, as we wanted to be considerate of other guests, rather than assuming we should bring our dogs indoors. Unfortunately, it was over 100°F, even in the shade, so we asked if there might be somewhere inside where we could sit where we wouldn't bother other guests. There were only two tables occupied in the entire facilities, with a large separate area indoor completely empty. The server was kind enough to accommodate us in there. We tried two wine flights, eight wines in total. A few were quite good, some were just okay, and one in particular, the Lambrusco, really wasn't to my taste. Very sour compared to the usual taste of it. That said, I'm Italian and probably have a different preference when it comes to wine, so this is very subjective. The food was quite good. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side of soup, and both were enjoyable. The experience took a turn halfway through our meal. One of our dogs barked a couple of times when another dog passed outside. About five minutes later, the owner came directly to our table and, in a manner that felt quite confrontational, questioned us about what services our dogs provided. We answered, but the conversation continued with comments about service dogs being trained not to bark at other dogs. And it all felt very unnecessary and beyond uncomfortable. Considering also that we were one of the three tables occupied in the whole winery. I completely understand that businesses have policies and concerns regarding service animals, and we would have been happy to have a respectful conversation about them. However, the way this interaction was handled left us feeling judged and uncomfortable, and unfortunately it overshadowed what had otherwise been an enjoyable visit. I also found the situation particularly disappointing given that the restaurant was almost completely empty and the temperature outside was well over 100°F. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left such a sour taste that I know I will not be returning. I'm still giving 3 stars because I try to be fair with my reviews. Aside from this interaction, the property is beautiful, the food was good, our server was accommodating, and there were certainly positive aspects to the visit. It's just unfortunate that one interaction had such a lasting impact on an otherwise decent experience.

The lighting is amazing, from the lights above the bar to the lights that shine up the brick wall. The barn doors that hide the kitchen and restroom are rustic and really bring the look of the room together. The loft upstairs make me feel like I'm hanging out in someone's living room. There is a cute little store front with all sorts of wine themed items. The best part of the whole place of course, is the wine. There are many selections from all over the world. They have sweet wines, whites, reds, and bubbles. The hot spiced wine hits the spot on a cold day. There are a few selections of bourbon barrel wines that are very popular. The wine bar opened in December and already has many regulars. The owners, Stephanie and Vern, are very friendly and love talking with everyone. I would definitely suggest coming here when ever you get a chance. It is a beautiful place and a great experience.
