Eden Hill Winery had some good wine, and overall it was an okay experience, but there were…read moredefinitely some downsides. My wife and our friends did a tasting and we enjoyed several of the wines. The server who initially helped us was friendly and got us started with the tasting. However, the place filled up fast because it was bingo night. It got so packed with bingo players that service basically disappeared. Our server never came back, and we eventually had to go up to the bar just to get our final tasting. They were definitely understaffed. If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely avoid going on a bingo night unless you like a really crowded atmosphere and bingo. The wine was good, but with it being about an hour and a half drive for us, it's probably not somewhere we'll make the trip back to.

The vineyard is small but lovely, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The snacks they have are decent for something to munch on while you're wine tasting. The property is almost like a small farm and is very peaceful. They do a lot of events throughout the year like a crawfish event, live music, markets, etc. they also offer a wine tour of their wine making process and facility which is really interesting. The wines they make are good, I definitely have my favorites, and they come out with new ones every year since I've been a member. Highly recommend coming to visit and doing a wine tasting!

Seating We went for the black leather couch-red/white leather chairs, tables. A group could meet here nicely-outside low tables/ chairs. Service Outside anding Personable, friendly, casual. Menu Sampling, wine coolies-frozen slushies, white/red-we had the red tasting. My husband liked them all- I preferred the dry red and Tempranillo. Many of the " regulars" got the frozen slushees. You can get a mix to go-$15. Summary Surprising winery at Van Alstyne, just off the 75- great menu, outstanding service, beautiful artwork! See you there!

I became aware of this cute little winery from my beer group of all places. They just started to…read morebrew beer and so I went to check them out. The place is cozy and calm, perfect to relax and get away from your daily stress. The owner is super friendly and, when asked, told us about how they came to own the place and to start offering beer. The new beer is very approachable, nothing weird or overly challenging, just four traditional styles. A Honey Blonde, an ESB, a Stout, and an Irish Amber. If you're not into beer, they still have wine of course, which my wife opted for. She chose a Riesling, a Blackberry fruit wine, a Strawberry fruit wine, and a Sangria. All of them were really tasty. I liked that the fruit wines didn't have the artificial flavor some of them sometimes have. If you have alcohol, you probably should have a bit to eat and they offer that, too. My wife went with a butter board (a few different types of butter with their house-baked beer bread) and I with the beer board (beer cheese, two types of salami, pretzels, a beer bread roll, flatbread slices, pickles, mustard, and seasoned almonds). Both of them were excellent. My son got a BBQ chicken flatbread, which was also very good. So, overall a great place to hang out, relax, and enjoy yourself!
